Bay Area Sewer Inspections

Mr. John Prior has provided us with exceptional service for over five decades. Heise's Plumbing, our regular plumber recommended him. We were worried about problems that would require a new sewer line. John came out and video taped our lineup and showed us that the"origins" of the problem. We had John hydro jet on the lineup and we have every year to clear the roots him return. In addition to knowledge and John's professionalism, he is friendly and enjoyable. Definitely five stars!

Wanted to share my experience with BASI. This contractor recommended to replace the sewer line out. ( BIG $$$). I call BASI to get a 2nd view, John and Sean come out right away, did there diligent on the sewer line recognized some origin, but the roots wasn't causing any flow issue. BASI recommendation wasn't do anything right now. I'm so thankful I call Sean, John and BASI are experience and educated of their craft. They're a contractor that is honest, In case you have problems with your sewer line call BASI.

Not each sewer line is a direct shot at San Francisco. John knows where the pipes are traveling around, under, through or where ever, While I've had the property as a Realtor ® to list , particularly on hills. He knowledgable each moment. These are. I made John to emerge, after having a few unsuccessful sewer cleanings by quite disinterested employees of one of the huge plumbing businesses. John came recommended to me and I am glad he was hired by me. Scheduling was simple, and they were prompt, pleasant, knowledgable, for cutting roots from the pipe and outfitted with video camera and a water jet device. Five stars.

His son Sean and john Prior are wonderful. We've got an old SF home with a few mad plumbing difficulties, on a hill, etc.. Blockage happens. I'm a Realtor and have been using John to scrutinize sewer lateral lines for both buyers and sellers. He is loved by us! Always responsive, on time, professional and funny! He is exhaustive with his estimates/inspections and does great work. The best part is he walks through everything so even clients that are new to the process feel really comfortable. John and his staff are absolutely magnificent. These guys have years of experience and it shows. John performed a sewer review and lateral root cutting. The job has been well done that we have these guys. Do not wait to see the final product.

I had him perform a test and he recommended hydro flushing he performed as soon as I moved in. Regrettably, the day I had repeat flooding in my garage which has gotten worse.
Don't recommend. Stay away.
He stopped returning calls and said he'd return out and have a look but cancelled on 3 times to me. When he finally was willing to return out he said he'd give me a $50 discount and"just" charge me $600 to replicate services he did not perform adequately the first time.

After calling among these on-call 24/7 rooter solutions to clean our clogged principal line, they had to come back twice to re-blast therefore the line would not back up to our garage (yuck). And it still wasn't entirely cleared. Finally I called. John came out we were good to go and as scheduled, found the clog they could not get out, blasted it out fast! Proceed with the specialist. Proceed with Bay Area Sewer Inspections.

I had a listing that had an old sewer lateral system, and the thieves moved a household of 5 into the house. John came out and not merely finished a review, but was able to flush out root growth in 3 regions which had nearly 90. John was friendly and reliable, responsive to every question setting his appointments and timely, and also reasonably priced! This is something which I appreciate in the real estate world. John Prior is my man should they come up, although I do not look forward to sewer lateral problems in the future!

5 stars for customer service! His son was incredible, Sean! These two lads know their way. My downstairs flooded, until Sean & John showed up to save the 22, and we had to use heaps of towels. Our basement was wet for weeks we've got no problems. Thank you to John and Sean !

Omg - john....is the finest - he cleaned my clients sewer outside in no time and has been really quite thourough and very fair in his pricing, I'm a busy real estate agent in san francisco and he's my go to guy in san francisco for any sewer lateral job I need -my clients adored him as well!!! This guy knows his stuff. He has his two sons working for him - this is a team - best sewer lateral guy Hands down!!!

You saved the day for my client. Simply closed on boom and a new home, garage starts flood from the drain. She predicted some unknown company that came out, billed her a fortune and said they snaked the drain and then cleared the origins... except they did not. It flood and had been backed up. I called John, he hurried over, conducted his camera via the sewer line and showed us both that the roots were still there. Next step was running his'warthog' root ripper through thrive and the sewer line, it was clear as day. Since he was pulling out this giant wad of origins was clinging to the ending for life. We conducted each of the faucets and could see and listen to all the water flowing straight through the main sewer line at the road.

HANDS DOWN John was Just the best. John came over for the next time, per the builders request, and he discovered that the problem that they've been searching for the past ten months Now, the issue has actually been due to a builder setup that was all undercovered due to John work and years of experience and could be address.
We were having plumbing issues along with our builder couldn't figure out why we had to hire John to come up and help us determine the issue. John walked through the manner what he saw in the camera and came out to perform the inspection. Before he was about to leave, he managed to see that a congestion was under the home and was willing to help us tell the builder there was something wrong. Our contractors did not wish to have on the phone with John and were being difficult when they were accessible and so were flaky, but John was so kind to make time even though the contractors were being and not responsive last minute.

Only had John here to check out my 1928 cast iron lines.
He gave my traces a positive clean bill of health. Iappalled and'm relieved all in precisely the same time. Relieved to know my plumbing are in good shape all the way to the sewer (a lengthy run, below and above ground. . .100-plus feet) Grateful to John and appalled that a Diamond Accredited plumber is operating this way. I am so tired of the"rip-off" mentality in our world today.
I called John to check my lines to check the demand for replacement. I did not tell him. Franklin recommendation.
I had flushed a little rag down a bathroom and wanted to avoid any problems. Everything worked fine, but I called Benjamin Franklin, a Diamond Certified full service attorney out. They stated that the rag has been gone from the pipes to the sewer. . .but, a 7000 cast iron lineup partial replacement was advocated by Benjamin Franklin. The work advocated would have caused a great deal of collateral damage for my outside stucco, etc. etc.. From the B. Franklin man..."You do not want them to break and place sewage in your house." --"They're fragile from corrosion." Tons of my cast iron piping is located inside the outside walls above ground in utility areas and at the sub area of the house.

John was good natured fast and fair. His prices were honest and transparent. He made recommendation and my highest regard.

Amazing support!!! John came to the rescue this weekend. We had a plumbing straight up which prevented us. He got the job and was attentive and professional. Separately, he also identified roots in our pipes. He managed get the water flowing and to reduce the roots. John is highly recommended by me. You won't regret his support!!!
