I guess I'm Bonnie and Clyde's first inspection. Jim the proprietor was great. Since we support personal training clients we had the lock of our business fail and we had a locksmith. He was professional, quick and knowledgeable. We learned that smart locks which we had aren't the best - and - neglect after time. He put us up with a system that was better and received our business open. He also made replicate keys for our staff on site (he has a generator and gear from his nifty truck to perform all that). Totally recommend.
Jim has been nothing but CONSCIENTIOUS, he has saved us a lot of too many moving parts and money with our elevator lock that was semi automatic! They were fixed by him so well it was his first trip in 6 years! Glad he did not retire.
BEWARE: Quite dishonest!!! We had two door locks changed within our office. He used one of my credit card to cover the locks he purchased at Lowe's. The sum was $119.00 per lock. After he was done my staff explained that the invoice amounted to $738.00. So I brought it up to his attention the morning on it ended up so expensive, I was amazed. As I was reviewing the invoice I asked him when he marked up the cost of the locks he purchased since he charged $249.95per lock. He said he marks it up 45%. So I then told him it should only be $166.60 rather than what he charged. And I showed him the picture out of Lowes. He explained that he didnt buy it in Lowes, because it needed to be a Level 2 lock because its office building, he needed to buy it. According to him the one at Lowes was not grade. Then I told him that he'd used my credit card to cover them and it stated he purchased it. I also told me that the user manual he left together with my staff just matches the model no. The lock he installed. And I asked why is he being so dishonest and lying. Then he confessed he purchased the locks and will return $100. Even if he returned 100, he still overcharged me he firmly and stated that he will only return $100. What a entrepreneur!
They quote you and they want $225 when they get there. He costs $225 to run a wire under the door and pull the lever for 5 minutes. That is complete rip off.
We still use Jim in Bonnie & Clyde. He is fine, neat and clean and a VERY REASONABLE locksmith. He can alter new locks, re-key or just make the previous locks work (in case they are still in good condition). Call them!!!
Jim is true fanatic, he unlocked my car only in 15-20 minutes. A true professional! We want more individuals who love their job just like him, him and he spouse barkley!!
I couldn't find keys to my rental property and was worried I would have to get a new lock. Called Jim the evening before and he and I met at the morning. He changed the opening of the lock made duplicates of all the keys I needed all under half an hour and at an inexpensive price. He was kind, authentic and efficient. He is highly recommended by me!
