Nick you saved! Or in this instance a Sunday night.
If I had a company like this, I'd want Nick in my team. Normally if we have the principal line cleaned out it's easy peasy. However that was not true this time. The last man who put the cover back on must have cross threaded it. After some back breaking work, Nick persuaded off the cover and was able to wash the drains out and we no longer need water.
Best notch work!
I would not advise using DC Annis Sewer. I called them to clean my main sewer line due to tree roots. I wasn't having any back up at the time. It backed up into my cellar, the following day. DC Annis come out straight away and would not stand behind their work. The owner needed to give him our charge card number once we already paid. The owner of this company was very rude to me on the telephone and tried to convince me something else was wrong because he did not wish to pay a tech. They do not stand behind it, although They've a 1 year guarantee on their work.
My home main sewer line was plugged. Called the 24/7 dispatcher and that I had a technician out in roughly an hour-and-a-half. Very professional technician took care of the problem straight away and brought his equipment in. Would call again as well as recommend to family and friends.
Will never use or recommend this company. I has been having plumbing problems with my bathrooms backing up and have a restaurant. Also the plumber shows up at 6 and I phoned, informs me there is nothing wrong and also charges $150. 2 hours after in PM, my bathrooms are backed up with water coming out in different drains! I call them again to tell them. Guy snakes a drain arrives at 10:30 pm and informs. Of course the charges me $150 plus drain cleaning fees AGAIN! Though they did not resolve this issue 2 hours ago! 3 weeks later...I am having the exact same problem AGAIN! They have men and women that are incompetent, double fee, and don't stand by their work.
Stay away! I moved with John Sewer and TJK and Drains plumbing and both are fantastic!
I phoned this business on a whim back when my sewer line backed up on a Friday evening while I was showering before my brother's wedding rehearsal, inducing backup in my cellar. They were quick and very reasonably priced. I have used them multiple times because my floor drain along with to clean my sewer line. Every technician that I have had contact with has been kind, effective, and so forth.
These guys totally screwed me . They were hired to clear the primary drain. They sent out a rookie who immediately got a more experienced mentor that the following day to show him how to get his equipment unstuck and clear the drain stuck, left our sewer and joined his equipment. I got billed the amount as I paid for the newcomer to sit with his hands in his pockets and see the man that was more experienced as well as cover the man they sent .
Now I used them . Sean is the tech that is best!
They washed what I though was the line, the tech said he thinks it is only the floor drain. He cleaned out it seems to function fine

100% satisfied
I called at 815 am, by 950 Am. By 1015 the tech gone and was done.
Great support from this firm. Does not snake sewer lines out. He did, however, recommend I call D.C. Annis for the best job in the best price. I was told when I made the appointment. Rob has been both knowledgeable and personable and showed up on time. When he was finished he got to work, solved the problem, and explained the problems clearly. I hope I won't have to have the primary snaked again, but should I do, I will telephone D.C. Annis.
Excellent service! Responded to our clogged main sewer drain emergency. Price $200. My plumber recommended them for the job. Told me beware some firms charge $500 $600 for job. Very pleased. Recommend!
Called AM for overflow of cellar drain as a result of presumed block of sewer main. Nick went to work and arrived a little. He handed 130 feet without success for 2 hours of 3 types of snake drill pieces. He advocated a second visit with a technician understanding that there is another try the solution. In Luke Garvin, and also a trainee, arrived and the findings have been discussed. It seemed likely that the blockage resulted from ice brought on by an 130 feet in the garage clean-out. They attempted passing 130 snake drill that was smaller which Luke had personalized. Unsuccessful, they secured a jet-tipped hose which generated a water spray which cut through the ice blockage, much to the relief of everyone. As drainage has been slow, they capped my next clean-out and snaked another drain. I was very satisfied with the professionalism and hard work. I also had renewed appreciation for all those family comforts for granted, that we all take. I strongly urge DC Annis, not only for their honest hard-won campaigns, but also for as they do the rest of the week, charging exactly the same. My unsolicited advice would be to check any clean-outs which you've got out in the fall until the snow flies (as I consider myself fortunate to find mine underneath 18" of snow) and make sure it is capped. The very last thing you want is a sewer main that is blocked, however if it occurs, phone DC Annis-prompt, professional, hardworking and affordable charges.
Had a crisis call for a backed up DC Annis sent over somebody within a hour and floor drain. Mitch was very professional and he spent the time period that is complete at our location to clear a clog in our line out. He ran, from what I saw, and 1 to clear to make sure it was cleared, every time with various cutters. Needless to say, we were a happy client in the long run.
Thank goodness I found the tiny sticker on it with DC Annis' title, so last night I called them and they came out this afternoon. No excess charge for coming on a weekend, and the cost they quoted me was that the last cost. What a pleasure to work with!
By comparison, this time I called Roto Rooter, and getting their bidding was a horrible experience and a complete waste of time. They would not tell me when the man arrived his cost was what I had paid AND he couldn't be sure that are the last cost, and how much it would be on the telephone. I realized I'd called the company that was incorrect and couldn't kick him out of my home quickly enough. His cost kept because I showed him the door, which informs you how overpriced their first price was falling.
I reside in a 90 year-old home that gets tree roots in the sewer line around every 2 or 3 decades, or so the line needs to be cleaned out using a few of those snake thingies that are business that are huge. Sewage, turning blades -- this, the smell is undoubtedly a task. It's cluttered, but a rather straightforward job. D. C. Annis does it for a typical charge (they can tell you on the telephone, which no additional plumbing firm will) and promises that the job for annually.
I am so surprised there aren't any reviews about this excellent enterprise. I've had D.C. Annis outside to my home 3 or 4 times over the last few years and I've experienced consistently excellent support. When I find exceptional service locally owned company, in a reasonably-priced, I wish to shout their name.
They did an extraordinary amount of damage to our house on a routine shower clog, compelled us to take them the judgment 100 percent was won by us, and they still won't pay.
Please do not use them. We have told numerous contractors throughout St Paul and South Minneapolis this narrative and everyone will recommend to never use DC Annis Sewer.
The kid still asked me to pay for the visit took no responsibility for this and told me to call his owner in the afternoon. The proprietor Bob Immerman was an arrogant businessman who obtained no responsibility and instead told me to take him to court since the contract they make before they start some job releases them that they could do to your house, you sign.
My wife was 9 months pregnant at the time. We were left with no choice but to take them to court to get back our money . Because the judge verified they were to the harm 100 percent at fault and that it was behavior WE OF COURSE WON IN COURT.
My wife and I recently had DC Annis Sewer outside to our house in South Minneapolis for a routine visit. They sent out a young kid on a Monday night who hauled into a machine and proceeded to work on our shower. He stuffed the bathtub to demonstrate that the drain was unclogged and once he let the water out we heard it downstairs....he had blown through new pvc drain tube and the water came during our ceiling destroying our new furniture, oriental carpets and hardwood flooring.
Now they wont cover the judgement. Return telephone calls. I have to go through the courts, get the sheriff involved to get a lien on their own company.
It's too bad because they all have to do is pay for the damages, accept responsibility, and accept that they made a mistake the court decided they need to cover. However they wont.
Through the years I have needed to call D C Annis many times to have sewer lines snaked at home and in the work. Jordan is I don't need to wait long and he has a positive attitude about something I'd hate to do. We had a rooftop drain going a very long run, to the storm sewer, Now, he was able to stop by and take care of everything efficiently.
Should you ever need your pipes cleaned...
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A tech called back and said he could not come to my home because the owner said that I was trying to"ruin his organization."
He did not apologize or attention when I told him it was okay that he was behind, but a call could be nice to say that he was late.
I called DC Annis on recommendation of my local plumber that doesn't clean main water lines.
I left a couple of messages with the answering service (they were very nice!) . Finally, I said I would start Facebooking about how BAD this company is, and tweeting.
No one called back for another hour.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
I set up an appointment earlier in the week for now. No one showed up nor called. I called at 5:15. No one at the company was there to respond. A company that was messaging relayed my phone to someone who eventually called.
He said he would call within the hour and be at my house. A hour and a half later, I called.
It has been a while since we needed Annis Sewer's support -- fortunately -- and it's only occurred to write a review. These crises are never easy? Annis had a guy at our door within 35 minutes of their phone (late night, IIRC) -- we are living in Burnsville -- and he was knowledgeable, effective, cleaned up after himself, and the price was very fair. I won't be afraid to employ Annis when the need should arise. (knock wood)
