They do lots of work for dealerships in the area, so that they know there stuff when it comes to automobile keys. On current year models in which locksmiths may not even have the programming!!!
Thanks so
Awesome service. Bought a vehicle with just one key fob. Called The Lock Geeks, they quoted, came same day. Within 15 minutes of arrival, my additional key functioning and was programmed.
Max polite and was professional. He assisted my door that was locked with ease and arrived and made a stressful situation easier to handle. I would highly recommend Max and this company particularly! What an experience with a firm!
Absolutely 100% defeated. We have had a car which hasn't begun now for a week. We have called so many distinct companies and most of them told us that they couldn't do it since it was"too complex" we found two places lock geeks and a different place in Wesley chapel called cheap lock & key. We also called and made an appointment with lock geeks since they had a price. We sent him a picture of the bar code that the day prior to the technician says that he can do it but they will charge us 50$ extra because we live further. . The site claims that they come to Pasco County and then they bill you an additional 50$. No matter, we decided to spend the additional 50$ and go with them. The technician began working on the vehicle, did not introduce himself and came to our home. About 25 minutes later he says"I can't do this because it's too complex I'd have to take off these components and it'd just be so much better to fix the broken key that you have, same price I am not going to charge more." Not a minute later he says he is leaving because he got smacked by a branch from our tree and needs to go to the hospital and hands the key to us back. We expected him to call another tech out since the bad man was hurt but there was no rescheduling with us at all. He just got in his truck and left. So frustrating. It was the very embarrassing service we have gotten, and these people have done excellent work as I can see apparently but I wouldn't advise going to these people at all. We have opted to go with lock & key, they're a bit more expensive but they can do the job right and keep us waiting. We took a day off of work for all these individuals and this is exactly what we have with their own services, to wait. Thank god that another technician fixed the key that the way the first time, and from a DIFFERENT company could take us over half an hour.
Stay away. Rip off. Had two car key made 8 weeks ago. No warranty. Both have bankrupt. Had to pay. They market crap and understand it!
This locksmith would be highly recommended by me to anybody. The service has been very professional. I think that they are very respectful of period and they have competitive pricing. I give them two thumbs up!
Great job! Showed up when he explained. Highly suggested! Fixed the immobilizer on my Volkswagen Jetta
No celebrities. Really nasty and rude guy. If you would like to be insulted give a phone to him. One of the reviews on Yelp has a photo of the proprietor. You suspect that one. Maybe I phoned him but I will not make that mistake again.
I am a trader with about 30 cars and are through many locksmiths and these men are the best. Fair pricing, diagnosis that is simple and cellular service is convenient. I had a Civic having a awful immobilizer ring. Rob worked together while I found a used component and made two trips out to my office As opposed to blindly replacement parts and racking up a bill. Very good men and they sell (and buy) used keys and fobs, meaning enormous savings vs new stuff. They are rather new to the Carrollwood area but I have been using them.
Chris B. has it! He allow me to know that he was being bothered by me and I called this guy to substitute my ignition and didn't like to talk on the phone. He said that I could text him. I really don't text, I'm email. So I emailed all my information and he acknowledged it when he could begin the job, but he gave no indication. After that I left a message and called him. He didn't respond. I called again and he said to send him a text. I know when I'm getting the runaround. He is too busy or else he simply doesn't give a good care of my enterprise. I am glad I did!!! and went with somebody else
Called this locksmith. Was when I say it's an understatement and really rude. He said he was too busy to come out and help me since he had other occupations that took priority and jumped to quote me rates. Then he told me when I paid $500 in money to him he would appear and make me a secret that afternoon. He couldn't plan my key and then said not to call just and he would need to come out another day send text messages AND TO ensure THAT I HAD CASH. He said he would need to come back again the following moment and left in a hurry when he couldn't create a secret for my car. Then he said he could turn off the programming for my vehicle and try to make me a secret like that. These guys don't have any clue what they're doing. They will attempt to scam and do not know what they're doing you. DO NOT TRUST. I haven't worked with an business. Absolutely horrible!!!
Normally there is a lot of locksmith's listed on yelp, yellowpages etc., which operate out of the back of their car and they all go through one nationwide dispatch service. I phoned 2 guys in a beat up VW and A-1 Lockesmiths showed up in my house. They gave me an account, and did not possess a copy of their permit, bond with no title and a phone number that went strait to voice mail. The 2 guys were"subcontractors" and also their boss would not get on the phone or provide a business permit or bond number. They tried to up-sell me by the second they stepped out of the car. Thank you but no thanks. I predicted The Lock Geeks. They showed up in 20 minutes and had my door in 5 minutes. They're independent and have a shop in Tampa. They don't go through the shipment service. Only go through these guys www.thelockgeeks.com
