North Raleigh Plumbing & Gas Piping

Where we specialize in commercial and residential plumbing welcome to North Raleigh Plumbing & Gas Piping. We are members of the Better Business Bureau and listed with the NC Board of Heating & Plumbing Contractors in good standing. Richard McMinis, our company president with years of expertise, began our Raleigh plumbing business on the philosophy his father passed on to him of"Get up early, do a fair job and get the job done right first time." It requires master craftsmen to get the job done right the first time.

I can't say how helpful and considerate Richard continues to be. We've called upon him. The first was a couple of months ago; we could not find the leak and our machine leaked. We called he and Richard came right over. He figured out the issue and told us what it'd take to fix it. So we gave our approval, I had to wash clothes and he fixed it.
I make it a habit to read testimonials on the things I'm likely to use or the places I'm wanting to see. I was amazed by the negative reviews on this concerning North Raleigh Plumbing. Our experiences with them have always been excellent! Richard understands what he's doing and does it in timely fashion and the most professional. He is now our Go- To guy for our plumbing and hvac requirements. I'd recommend him and the company for all plumbing and/or hvac and any requirements!
Our second coping with North Raleigh Plumbing and Mr. Richard came by means of our kitchen and bathroom faucets needing to be fixed. We called Richard and we told him the issue. He explained he would need to come out to observe the problems for himself. We agreed on a time and date and he was here. He worked on the problems and fixed the taps. I swear to you, making it seem easy!

The response this firm made to my review that is honest is a lie. I advised the individual who answered the telephone I had a RA number from Whirlpool, I myself would take the faulty unit back and get a new one. They all needed to do was hook up the new one. As I told him about the telephone, it's within the house, situated at the wash area, it's not within an enclosure, and it'll have to get hooked up to ONE hot water heater, One cold water heater, and use the same cables to hook up the new one which was used to offer power to the older unit. He advised me that 450.00 was their"standard" price regardless. So to state about their needing to return a unit to Lowes, what he did above, is an outright lie. The only reason is nobody has known to expose their ridiculously substantial prices to hook up 3 screws and a couple hoses. Tomorrow That'll change. I wasn't born and that I understand a rip off when I see you. This isn't my first rodeo. It was rather funny that as soon as I told him I had a"Labor Refund" for $150.00 he afterward told me the price was a straight 450.00 regardless. Surely not a business that someone and not good business policy could trust. BBB evaluation or not! Not everybody is a sucker! Next up the BBB.
Don't use this business to get a hot water. They quoted me a price of $450.00 to install a Hot Water Heater that is located in the wash area of my house in plain view. No barriers or some other kind and within the house. Now be aware this is to wire in a wire a Hot wire, and a Earth cable, and also for hooking up a Cold Water line, A Hot Water line. There was at the all for the low low price of $450.00 which I was jokingly told A job regular! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY for almost any warrant work from Whirlpool. Once he discovered it was to get a return and he needed to do was hookup the new Water Heater I was quoted by him this price! All I can say is use at your own risk and be ready to be upsold! Stay Away!

Richard came out to examine some issues. I was not home at the time but he went ahead and took a look anyways. He was here for about 45 minutes looking at things and the best information he could give me was to phone a tank company. With this information he charged me $130.00. During this time he Cracked part of my tank lid that's now emitting a foul odor in my back yard. My issue was when I phoned to inquire about this and he didn't even bother to say that he had deciphered the lid. So now I'm stuck with a foul smelling a lid I must fix yard, and also a unresolved issue back. Wouldn't recommend to an enemy.

Richard has agreed to fix my faucet at no price. I am happy he is ready to correct this.
