Super friendly people, too. They have been a pleasure to work with.
Our business provides services for clients in their homes. Our customer list is long. So, as you can imagine, we create plenty of copies. And, we want keys that work.
There's a fantastic chance anyone who is copied this dilemma has been encounter by a secret. You go to utilize the backup; it will not work. I know it seems like creating a fool of a secret could be a simple endeavor. It a little more complicated, requiring a touch.
Some advice. Avoid making copies of keys in places like Home Depot, Ace Hardware or even Fred Meyer if your time matters for you. They utilize those machines that cut the key mechanically. These machines are hit and miss.
Pacific Lock & Key does an exceptional job. We drive out of our way. And this is why.
Here. No place will cut 100% of the time to a key that is great. We copy countless keys per year. With that many copies, later or earlier, one's not likely to work. We visit Pacific Lock & Key since we believe they are the time.
In my experience, it's a 50-50 chance that the backup out of Home Depot, Ace Hardware or Fred Meyer will work. (OK, I'll give those big stores the tilt and say their secrets work, like, 60 percent of the time.) The point being, it's a giant time-suck having to return and get a key cut a second time.

This place is so annoying! I wanted fresh keys for my Toyota (the ones with the remote buttons) so I purchased the blanks on line and came here to get them trimmed. The woman says only her husband could cut those secrets and"he is not here very much" Huh??? This is a shop!! There's nothing particular about these key blanks either, it's for a 19 year-old Toyota!
Make a scheduled appointment or she says to come back some other time when her husband is here. "I don't know maybe in the morning sometime" Okaayyyyy. Like she suggested lets try something different so I ask to make an appointment. She subsequently won't actually make an appointment and just says to come in the afternoon and"he might be here". So I am supposed to keep stopping by and hope that he will soon be there?? RIDICULOUS!!

I wish that there were negative stars. This business should be avoided and shut down. They quote a price, react to work, locate a"difficulty" and jack up the price. I get it. Sometimes an issue can not be anticipated by you until you are knee deep in the mud. But the nature of quoting a price is to build in that ah-ha factor. Then once you question the increase, they advise they can't deal with the issue. Please, take this information; do not solicit this business.

That is an honest, reliable, enterprise that is exceptional. The locksmith has been out to our home twice- shortly after we moved in and also a key went missing, and after we locked our keys. He came after I predicted, and is upfront and friendly about pricing. We've used Key and Pacific Lock twice and will again! I am so thankful they're in the neighborhood.

I've been using Jerry for many decades. I manage a little, Specific Needs building down the street from his store, and he is always pleased to help me with lock adjustments, lost keys, etc.. He makes every attempt to help even when I call him short notice, as sometimes is needed. He and his spouse are accommodating, kind and friendly. They always treat me.

So pleasant and helpful! They could make me a copy. (good thing too, as it had been my only copy.)

Quick and easy service. I've locked myself a couple times and they are always readily available to assist me!

Since he didnt sell me the lock, had an issue with a lock that is smart -- didnt really seem to care? Told me it wasn't any good, couldnt help adjust the deadbolt pull back. Didnt seem to want to be there.

Super customer service. The woman was amazingly beneficial. She was great to speak with, efficient, and left getting a bunch of keys copied a moment that is good! I am pleased to ship all my friends this way!

OKthis was for RFID (transponder) key that are costly and he suggested I get a"Chinese" after market one off the internet to get cheaper than OEM cost. I did however, I got the more better quality one. Took it and did not wish to cut on it. Said cheap secrets do not work, get one was created by US but I informed him it had been that the US made one and was specifically for year and my modern.
Waste of time and money, between them both, it now would have been cheaper to get the OEM one. Live and learn.

Got slapped to AAA with this particular organization's service thanks. All the man did was whine. I had a key broken off. He comes out and removes it. All while whining.
Another burglar breaks in a couple months later and the exact same thing happens. I call AAA and he comes out annoyed that having to correct this is ridiculous and he's going to charge me $200 next time since this isn't beneath my plan (I requested this on the AAA representative and he said it had been ).
I am sorry my car is in a poor neighborhood and I have broken into two. You think I want to phone you?

I walked out functioning duplicate keys, and arrived in. I support this Mother and pop place than visit big box store or Home Depot.

Key and pacific Lock is awesome. They showed up in 10 minutes later I locked my keys in my trunk. The guy (I believe Jerry I am terrible with names) was quite friendly, professional and did the work way far cheaper than AAA had quoted me. Also way way cheaper than the other locksmiths I called. He was fair and did the task at the most efficient manner possible although he might have left me charge me tens of thousands and have him make me a new secret.

Complete JOKE!!!Had it towed into a parking lot that was

If keys weren't lost by people!!!! would you have a company
Whilst carrying our two toddlers into the store my wife dropped the keys.
He explained I shouldn't have dropped the secrets in the first place and this was a lot of trouble for him. REALLY!!!
I am sure this guy can do work but the lack of customer service and ethics are down, I would advise you not to use this guy due to the dearth of being a standup guy!!!!!!
He told me that he didn't want to use some more tokens and that I should get it towed to the dealer.
Telephone AAA he worked in my car and came out. And complained about the way he has to spend as much money on some token system for his computer to put in the codes for the ignition. He told me now he chased the tokens and two tokens that for some reason his computers turned off were taken by my computer.
Because we are visiting in Seattle, 'd my keys next day aired out from my house in Los Angeles. I went to begin my car and it didn't begin I contacted the dealership and told him what went on. . They informed me that they were 99% sure the guy decoded my ignition and would now need to recode.
I contacted him directly and asked if he could come back and recode my car..told him I didn't mind paying but would like to get a reduction due to my troubles of paying FedEx, taking a cab, not needing my car for two days. He said for me to call AAA and then started whining about his investment system.

Jerry came to our house and replaced all of our locks. He had been both reassuring, professional and valuable. In addition to supplying and installing several locks he had been calming to increase safety and kind. He guided me and did try to sell his products that are expensive, but listened to my requirements and demonstrated exactly what I would need to do in order to install it myself on our detached garage. I strongly recommend his services.

We had to have our new house rekeyed. The price that Pacific Lock lent us was lower than a number of those"Big Named" locksmiths and a friend had a good experience with them so I decided to give them a try. Glad I did. They were very helpful (gave us some wonderful suggestions on the kinds of new door lock places that could match with another existing locks on the home) and extremely prompt in responding to our house when we were ready to receive rekeyed. A fantastic experience all round.

My husband went off with all our car keys, so get a key and I needed to enter my car. They explained price options with my vehicle and came. They got into my car were friendly and created a key at a fantastic price!! So I got a fantastic thing In addition they work with AAA. They were quick to arrive on a Saturday morning.

My son locked the bathroom door and that I couldn't pop the old fashioned manner opens for a hanger did not function in the pit. I called and the man on call ( it was after hours) spent some time explaining that I had a little flathead to grab and pop it up. He helped walk me to help avoid an lockout fee. My son was sleeping and as I did not have the right tools, he indicated I hammer on the end of the hanger to create a custom made flathead. It worked fantastic. Props to how friendly he was, helpful and going to never charge me money.

All I had was fresh copies of this home key and the car key (I dropped them both yesterday). Since I understood the way to get to the place I resigned from Shoreline, and I'm very happy I did. Because I waited, the keys were cut , and they function. Quality work, friendly service, good price equals customer.

*Exaggeration: I think he kicked some dirt up and really ducked to get something from beneath the register.
Moments later it had happened so fast I thought it was a dream. Until I reached into my pocket and discovered the single golden** key!
I asked the amount of keys to be made and wandered in to see if I could have an excess key made for the clerk and a cabinet. He stated that it could be done straight away and smiled As soon as I told him one. I looked down in my phone for a moment and by the time I appeared, he stood facing me with a brand new key....as if by magic! That is the fastest I've ever seen a secret, although I can't say that it had been 15 seconds, it could have been 20. And to top that suggestion, after paying, he disappeared in a puff of smoke! *
Situated in a humble key-osk in the Greenwood Market parking lot, this little company ostensibly deals in keymaking. However, this really is a clever ruse and I'm hear to break their key:
They deal in magical.
