Amazing 24 hr agency WITH NO AFTER HRS OR SERVICE CHARGE....name one other Plumbing company that may say that AND offer a 6 month warranty on their drain cleaning services!! Wow!! Thank you Clayton and Bill for being the Plumbers ever!!!
Quick service, but they needed us to pay $750 to have our garbage disposal. Save yourself $650 and purchase one for $100 at Lowe's.
I truly hate making a negative or post inspection but that is crazy and people need to know. In case an emergency I would not recommend this company. No disrespect but I would not trust the field supervisor we dealt with notably. So I am posting here and I can to let others know my expertise so they can think about calling this business when in need. With how much it seems as though that was with taking advantage of someone predatory truly baffled and hurt. If in need of help please be cautious if calling this place.
Trying to get an explination I predicted Jason Keuhnert back and asked for a break down of the bill. Immediately acted offended and became standoffish. Said he gave me 10 percent off and they have a price sheet. I asked for the costs and they would never be given by him. Not certain what but its only reason trying to bill someone 3x as much as others or if they get paid on commission. It was a pipe 3ft deep and only 10ft. I truly feel sick knowing we had been taken advantage of. Well today is that day the following day and it's 8pm. So I am willing to bet he understands what he is currently hoping to sweep it under the rug and did.
They come and do it and come to completely because they stated our septic needed pump (convienent of Jason not to check that). We have ACME come out to pump the septic. Place of curiosity what we paid for Roto Rooter If they do they inquire. Told them along with their jaw hit the floor. Come to fins out we were basically taken advantage of because we were needing. They said it'd be about $1200 at the most to do exactly what they did. I found the exact same thing and called a few other companies. . Here I think we're making a choice and now I have extended credit to be ripped off.
Sunday was a jolt. Well Roto Rooter was predicted by us and they came out to clear it. I explained the problem and thought it had been in a main pipe rather than the wash out (I have septic). Well the guy came out amd refused to entertain moving under the house and he could clear it from the wash out. Fine have at it. 20 minutes aays my pipe from the house to septic has busted and later he comes back. (Tried telling him to not go into it but whatever) naturally it broke. He couldnt fix it and said a field supervisor would come out. Sounded fine. Could tell we were frazzled. Next thing I know he tells us it will be 4 to 5 grand (no explination of breakdown). Frazzled and desiring our pipes we went.
You know.... I thought I had been speaking to some company that was nice and reputable but come to understand it seems like I had been just cared for. In a nutshell...
This is an update. After originally being charged 433 dollars for labor was irate, and I wrote that the firm, known as the firm, and obtained help or no response. I wrote a 1 star review here and guess what, I got a call. They said I was overcharged and provided to repay 200 dollars back. 233 for an hour of work is pricey, but in the world of fair. For that I'm satisfied. Customer service must have cared for us without the shaming that's a review. My guess is everybody and then they expect to pay the percent of people who complain publicly back. Unfortunate. A firm such as Roto-rooter must hold themselves to a higher standard.
I only want to be certain if anybody believes for a second that Pat took care of this.... You are sadly mistaken!! I never heard a word and reached out to him. Their effort is just sad!! They got their money and that is obviously!
Do not, I repeat, DO NOT Employ Roto-Rooter to Get ANYTHING. We had a pipe and backup issue and just bought our first home. We were told by their manager that our insurance would pay them and no cash would come from our pocket. After that arrangement they allegedly did the work and that was that. We are having the same issues, three months later. They're also stating that they never told us that they would be paid by the insurance . This company is mismanaged and severely lacks in communication. PLEASE find someone else for any plumbing problems you have. Because no stars isn't an option putting one star
Kris has been out to clean our drains. He was very educated, very considerate, and comprehensive. I will use him again and was very satisfied.
Do not EVER use roto-rooter. They tried to bill 2100 for a sump pump and we have a different quote for 1200. The plumber spent an hour and a half getting components in the hardware store, charged us double for the components, spent 40 min calculating the bill, then tried to bill us for ALL of that time. NEVER AGAIN!
Horrible Experience - I'm not sure how a company may treat people like this. I had a clog in my sewer line on Sunday. The plumber I wanted to use was not available that day, and so I decided to attempt Roto Rooter (BIG MISTAKE). Brandon snaked the main drain and the bathroom rough in the cellar (had to remove the cap to the bathroom rough in to snake) and handed me an invoice that said was clear AND there was a 6 month guarantee. I declined. After Jason left I took a shower and my brother shouted from the cellar which it had been flooding with water - which sludge. I instantly called he and Jason informed he'd be over shortly. Jason stated I had been told I needed to replace the pipe into my yard and showed up. Obviously the cause of the flood with sewage was due to the cap being left off the bathroom - which is the point where the flood came in while I took a shower. He put the cap back to the rough in bathroom, never said sorry for the mistake and proceeded to inform me their restoration company charge MY insurance company and could wash it. I do want to point out that I'd have about 20 percent CLEAR water from a'run away pipe (not sure what it is called) in my basement when I called Roto-Rooter (simple homeowner cleanup ). I have 50% raw sewage in my cellar. I told him that the error was on the section of Roto Rooter and THEIR insurance needs to pay. Asking me to place in my insurance is insurance fraud for a mistake that they made. Roto Rooter told me that they would be prepared to return back to my house and sit with me while I called my insurance so that they might'help' me. Once I said I was not going to substitute my pipe with them they stopped talking to me personally and will not honor their 6 month guarantee OR wash the sludge refund my money.
By the way - I have taken showers toilets, done everything and not 1 issue with flooding. All a lot of con artists. Sure do not care and when things go great I'm sure things are fine with Roto Rooter but when you've got a problem they turn off. Do your homework on the internet on the bad experiences and you'll see exactly what I mean. They do NOT stand behind their job, anything, their guarantee. I had been treated with a sugar kindness when they desired me to devote a $14,000 sewer pipe but once there was a problem they treated me with a'who cares' and'not our problem' kind of attitude. Horrible people
Only thing was they gave a free quote. Although if they have been listened to by me I'd have been out $3200 instead of the $ 3 it cost to repair my issue. Because he didn't turn it off 32, issue: had a water leak street side in my meter pit it took the plumber over a hour to pump out the water and it was leaking at the exact same speed as he was pumping out it. The cap on the stop waste valve was to which I was told by him they make missing. So they would have to dig up the pit and replace everything and he quoted me $3200. I said I needed to get a quote so he left. I went to Menards and purchased a new stop waste valve (ya know, the ones they no longer produce ) and took off the cap and replaced the one that was missing. Not too mention I shut off the water and hand dipped it out that it took him to pump it. It is hard telling how many people are taken advantage of by this company. I'd have trusted that he had been honest, if I hadn't been standing there to see the issue. It is companies like this that make it needed to trust anybody.
Chris was incredible! He saved us!! We had a line back up with sewage coming in to our basement. Another plumber said he was convinced it was roots at the pipe and came out and tried to sell a $5000 clean out. Chris listened to me and explained he wanted to attempt to snake out of the pipe first. He admitted it was a long shot and to not get my hopes up but he tried. . .success....he removed the clog, saved me tens of thousands, and saved the day. Thanks and thanks Char Roto-Rooter. We will NEVER call anyone else!
He stated he'd send out a tech and on a SATURDAY. Before I knew it, Jeff was at my door. He had been kind clean, honest and prompt about my clogged drain.
After having an awful experience with Benjamin Franklin last year to get a drain, I was pleasantly surprised with Roto-Rooter today. Unlike their contest, Roto-Rooter answered my phone call immediately. So when I was greeted by the operator, I signed up for their services without hesitation I called three other pipes services.
I'll be sure to call back Roto-Rooter for my next plumbing requirement!
Very excellent service. This ceremony was for replacing with a new faucet and removing kitchen faucet that is old. The builder of the townhome in Carmel took a lot of shortcuts that were cheap. Our service guy had to fix those errors when installing the new hardware. It looks like it will last a long time. They also guarantee it through a 1 year guarantee. I thought that was reasonable.
Fast. Efficient. Polite, and up front. They were up front about the cost and did exactly what they said they'd in a timely manner. It is costly, but every Plumber is...
My advice to you If you have a plumbing emergency isn't to call this provider. Very unreliable. I phoned them at 3:50 pm and they promised to get a plumber at my home within two hours. At 6:30 pm no display and no telephone. I phoned again and was advised that shipment will probably call me. No telephone. At 7:20 pm I called again and was advised the plumber is heading my way. I won't ever call this business . Very frustrating.
I'd my garbage disposal replaced (I supplied the garbage disposal therefore no additional components or anything were required. . Just the price of labor) and the bill for an hour of work was $399! Brain surgeons get paid per hour! Ridiculous rates.
Had a very positive experience with our drain being resolved by Jeff. He completed the task in a timely way and explained things. Will definitely use their services in the future!
It was worthwhile to rid of the shower of fecal matter floating although it cost me 328.
I have 6 month warranty if it happens.
Cleared a congestion which had sewer backing up into bathtubs and shower. Tried to update me on"compound" remedy for an extra 60$. I refused at first but gave in and my suspicions were correct. 60$ for a gallon jar of their"commercial manufacturer drano." I expected something more complicated and labour intensive compared to a jug. I was able to utilize a 40$ 40 coupon. Gentleman that arrived didn't speak English and at first we had difficulty communicating to find the pipe but ended up with good results.
After some overflowing toilet experiences I submitted an online service request with Roto Rooter.
Adam came out to evaluate the water damage and called me promptly the next morning. He explained everything especially some insurance details.
Then the plumbing technician Lal Muana did a quick and neat job. Obviously I might have got the same Sterling toilet for $220, but a professional setup to me is well worth the $500. Recommend!
First of all wasn't friendly or helpful at all. They did not have the equipment and sent someone out who wasn't ready for the job asked. He did not have an comprehension of the job asked. I had the feeling they needed to move and clean out the drain without appearing using a camera to diagnose it so they might charge for this.
