I expect that anyone that needs key a lock, or car key will use Van's. The people are so fine, capable, and property and their construction are kept.
Best customer service that I have seen, and I have a lock!
Then there came a family in who were needing a secret for their vehicle. They were having some difficulty communicating in English, and the folks there were kind to them and so considerate as well.
I called for my Kwikset door lock that was busted , and he was very patient in telling me exactly what the problem may be. If it might be fixed, I drove over and introduced the whole lock to see. He looked it over and did his magical. Voila! It worked and I wasn't charged by him at all!!! I am in awe of you and the lady who asked how my day was going.

Old college Mom and Pop locksmith which will do it correctly! Before finally someone advocate Van's I was sent to two locksmiths. I and they had keys and the blanks, respectively. Great service and price. I would give them 20 stars if I could. Highly recommend coming

Locked myself out of my home. Property direction has been no help. He and called Van's came right away and opened the door. He discounted the quoted price since it took effort to get the door shut. Should have known as Van's very first. Would have been back in my home in 20 minutes rather than one hour and 20.

We dropped the keys to our car (ignition and lock) and came here to have one made. They made us a secret for $100 and directions to program it to our car (took half and hour and it was SO easy)
One of those guys who worked there was really rude, but the lady and the guy who assisted us were nice. I simply hate it when people have bad customer service, and the one guy has been rude facing us to his colleagues and was sort of us. This could only be a pet peeve, but to me it disturbs 3 stars rather than 4 stars.
So, the price was great.

This locksmith has assisted me twice. I had an old key lock that had a piece inside. I took it in and it was repaired by them. They made a leaf creating the lock functional. Another time I had locked myself from my home and they came within 20 minutes got me inside and only charged me $75.

I have used Vans on many occasions. They are always friendly and do work that is grate. Being a locksmith isn't work that is sexy but this family run business takes pride in their job and it shows. From emergency service to easy re-keys they get the work finished. These past 8 decades I have used them for businesses and your own home and I'll continue to do so.

Instead of paying the cash for the dealership my mother and trucks named the Lock & Key of Van. Because she asked me to look up their name and amount 18, she should have used them .
Customer service was outstanding and very pleased with everything.
Pricing was reasonable.
Guy and we met and tried a few distinct things before he managed to get us into the car. (I suppose he started with the invasive approaches first and when those were not doing it he moved to the doorway pry)
The doors were locked and the door was that the doorway with the handle that was broken. For those of you who are not aware this specific version of this Focus (possibly all them for all I know) just has a keyslot in the driver side door. Now typically in the event that you maintain it and turn the key in a motorist side keyhole all the doors lock depending on which way you flip it or will unlock. That is another feature Ford did not put on this particular model. They did not yet have the'rear seat release knobs' to allow entry. (The Keyless Entry FOBs into the car broke within months of Purchasing the car fresh and my parents never replaced them(

A guy, who appeared to be very wonderful did my lock service. He changed our lock out at a fair price. After 6 weeks, the lock wouldn't open or lockso we phoned them to see if we can get someone out to repair it. They refused that they installed this lock (despite our reception ), and that they weren't responsible for some of those damages. They rejected coming out to repair the lock (we were planning to pay for what needed to be repaired ). We needed to call another locksmith to come out and repair the lock and it cost me $300 (nearly double the setup ). The locksmith told us when the installation was completed, the locksmith hadn't lined up the locks correctly and the locks breaking down was unavoidable.
They MAY be fine when providing you with the installation or selling you their goods, for needing some kind of help but I have not confronted this EVER.
I yelled, phoned back to let them know that this had happened, and the guy that answered the telephone denied any kind of obligation and instead and hung me up. He kept repeating"I have three clients on the opposite line. I don't have time for this".

It ends up the Jeep has a key with a microchip inside, requiring a special computer synchronize the key with the auto and to put in a secret code. Just a little research revealed you can program a secret yourself, using the computer of the car - ! You're about to enter a missing annoyance if you have lost one.
Here Is What happened:
So I called several locksmiths, but I could not be helped by them. Two of these known my to Van's Locksmith Service in Aurora. After talking my situation I brought in my special blanks plus they cut and programmed them. The keys that are work GREAT!
You see, a Jeep dealer is happy to have you deliver the Jeep in, cut and program a new key for you, but that will cost you a minimum of 200! As much as $300, based on the dealer!
And me $50 charged application and to cut two keys. Me four to six times that would have charged.
Very pleased with the final result and Van's service.
I'm pretty certain the key provided by a dealer is made out of ordinary plastic and metal, not silver or gold. Not gold or even silver plated. So why $200 - $300 to make a replacement key for the one you lost? Dealer profit is the answer.
When we bought the car to acquire a key made, just in case we lose one, why not the seller inform us?
BATMAN, HOLY PRICE GAUGING!
My daughter dropped one of two keys when we bought the Jeep we obtained. I thought,'no big deal', presuming I have a copy made and could up into the hardware shop.
My guess is, if they don't inform you how replacement keys are, then you won't really think about it until you need one. And at that point, most people figure they have no option except to go to the dealer to get a new one made.
Not so quickly, Buckwheat!
So this was a happy ending to a disagreeable surprise.

I love that you know it has been there for decades and only can look around the store. I thought twice, and never had driven past this place countless times. I got two doorknobs and 4 keys cut for only $28. I am pretty certain they just charge extremely reasonable rates, although I got the woman reduction. Both knobs work, and do all 4 keys. I will be back next time I need anything lock key .
I just bought a home down the street and wished to receive all my amazing 60 year-old patina-covered doorknobs re-keyed. I received excellent service once I also to see if it was something they can do, and popped for a quote into Van's. I was treated with the kindness and respect you will only receive at a small business. I came back the next day with my doorknobs. I overheard customer service and seen the exact same great customer service given to a while I was waiting for the re-key to be achieved.
