Following a week of fighting them, our two toilets decided not to function thing in the afternoon. Major inconvenience. We tried everything we discovered on line, without avail. I contacted ROTO-ROOTER for support. I attempted to impress the dispatcher it was a crisis situation. I thought that was resonable, Though the technology that was closest coudln't get here for 2 hours. Their office called me three times to keep me advised, although he had been postponed even more than that on a different job. Drini, their technician, understood just what the problem drains clogged up with sediment, was, also informed me he was going to resolve it, what the price would be, plus a discount. It took him just over one hourand he had been very professional, respectful, together with all the blue booties, and we were impressed because two of our neighbors knew him working on their homes. This was re-assuring. He did not attempt to sell us and even gave me some of their drain cleaner which is not caustic and smells better than the box store manufacturer.

Second review, dropped to 2 stars: Called for support at my property. Received revealed up 90 min later. Tech spoke English. Showed him Check in coupon for $50 off support (that says $60 about the Yelp webpage ) stated okay. Worked on master toilet, said he'd have to remove bathroom to work on clog. I left him to do his job and if he was done, he clarified that clog was a result of build-up and grease (I never dump grease down my bathroom or kitchen sink). I had been concerned about a possible tree root and inquired when he used a camera (that can be pretty standard and has been used in my brothers visit last year). He stated that the camera is a section that was different and he doesn't use one. I advised him of this $50 voucher when it came time to get the bill and he argued with me saying it was just $40 off. Finally, since it took ten minutes of back and forth, and I say this, he gave me the $50 off. I called the company back to talk to a manager about the (lack of) camera inspection. The rep tried to phone the local office but nobody answered and she left them a message. Later that day when I did not hear back , I called the local office and left a message . Can NOT recommend. Go on Next Door and find out who your neighbors are using, and that's what I wish I'd done.
First review,2017, 5 Stars:My daughter was in need of emergency plumbing solutions over the weekend and received excellent service and a sensible price from Roto Rooter. Pink Plumber who offered the cost had been previously called by her! I would use them again and highly recommend Roto Rooter.
So far not a fantastic experience. Iwas happy and've used there services. I had an issue with a clogged toilet and tub and they could not get out a technician before a day later. They called me today at 10:47am and said a technician was on their way (no ETA GIVEN). So at 12:10pm I called back and said no one wanted a ETA and showed up. We only have 1 bathroom in our home, when you can't use it for 24 hours so it is somewhat annoying. At 12:40pm technician arrives. I explained the issue and he went straight in and rain the water in the shower (that was over flowing yesterday) and flushing the toilet constantly to make certain water goes down. I'd utilized the Roto-Rooter pipe shield the night before to help clear and de-grease the pipes. He said there was no charge for coming out since he didn't do! But said to phone back if t happens .
Faster than expected, reasonable prices ($200 for bathroom drain issue) and felt technician was considerate and competent. I'd certainly use them again. I made sure to request all the choices for pricing and fixing, and all were costs that I could live with. It was Friday evening with only bath in house not working, it was fast and successful, so my whole family is now happy!
I was able to call plumbing, the drain team and two other companies. Both called me so when a plumber was available or back within an hour. The drain team evaluated the damaged and came out immediately and even offered to do a temp fix so that I could have water in the mean time. Advanced is now still set to come out to take a look. Its humorous as neither of these companies needed power or water in my house to come to my house to estimate the harm of the water .
I would if I could give them zero stars. This rating has nothing to do with the plumbing team but instead the customer support representatives. After hurricane Irma came my neighbors tree was uprooted breaking my water line which runs to my house from my meter. Turn the water off and the town needed to come to my house because it nearly flooding my house and had been flooding the lawn. That then resulted in my house not only having no power but no water as well until the pipe was fixed. When I called customer support to try and get out someone to take a look she advised me"so for us to really come out your water would need to be on" then realised that the water was only turned off in the meter and could be turned on however when it has turned onto water will spray everywhere. She then repeated the statement that we'd have to have water for somebody to come out. I then had to tell her to allow the water to be turned on I would need a plumber. She eventually agreed to send someone out the next day. However when the next day came it was just another excuse. If we had power, she called at 8:45 in the morning to inquire. As soon as I advised her I am unsure because my house is not livable without power and water so I am staying in a friends an hour off who has no power but they have water. She showed no compassion and just states"I will need to reschedule you once you have power." Does a plumber need power to estimate the harm of external pipes? I remind you my home town underwent a disaster, this lady was calling out of a Maryland area code therefore she could careless with what we're currently going through and had been unaffected. She remained monotoned and unconcerned with my difficulty. I am a supervisor for a customer support contact center and when this lady was one of my associates her treatment to clients would not be tolerated. They ought to be trained to at least show some type of compassion to clients facing a time.
Called Roto-Rooter to come fix an issue with a sewer line that backed up which we guess has a root issue. To make matters more challenging, we live from town and we have term renters in the home. The Roto-Rooter tech gave me a price of $375 to snake it, which looked high to begin with. He conducted a snake but seemingly not a camera, also failed to find a problem, thus telling me that there was a problem on the city side. After the city conducted a camera and affirmed that no, the problem is definitely on our side, I predicted Rooter-Man.
The tech quoted me to fix the issue, joe, which he solved within 45 minutes. The entire line was inspected by him and was able to properly diagnose the problem which allowed roots. He was professional, complete and very efficient. He quoted me $375 to return, dig up and fix the true pipe for the long-term remedy and cut out the roots to solve the issue in the brief term. When Roto Rooter had given me a quotation to permanently correct the same problem a couple of years back it had been for....wait for it... $5000. Yeah, I will not be phoning.

Try Rooter-Man. I would have saved about 24 hours of miserable renters and headaches, and of course a lot of cash if I had called them first. They'll be my plumber of choice.
We live in VA and own a second home in the St Petersburg. Until we move there, our grownup daughter lives in our Florida house. She contacted us that the shower and toilet in the master bath backed up with water. It was overflowing and a mess into the bedroom. I phoned Roto Rooter along with the woman on the phone was useful and pleasant. By 11:30 there was a team there and took care of the problem and it did not cost us a chance. They are now my go. Thank you Roto- Rooter. You saved the day. . .well the Evening.
I had a crisis situation on a holiday. Most places were charging fees for service, but not Roto-Rooter. A tech came out, he was professional, informative and pleasant. He discovered what was wrong and gave me suggestions. Since he knew he couldn't fix it he even worked on our kitchen plumbing to get a discount.
They were fantastic, only a little.
The only thing is the price. I invested approximately $500 for them to unclog my toilet pipes (though they did have roots growing in them) and to operate on the kitchen plumbing. These numbers were a bit unreal to me.
I also had to wait more than the window that I had been told as they were operating behind. As it was a holiday, I didn't care as I needed it done (just one toilet in our home of 3 individuals, no bueno).
I am pleased with the work done by Roto-Rooter in St. Petersburg. I have used this business on three or more events for plumbing problems and the company would be strongly recommended by me. My most recent problem was a clogged toilet late at night. This was a real emergency for me as a wheelchair user and Roto-Rooter sent someone out (Robert A.) at near midnight to fix my problem. He did the job right, had everything needed on his truck advertised and was professional and courteous.
I am thankful that there is someone. This firm has done additional work for me and solved issues that plumbers had missed. An individual can employ, having someone to call at any hour and getting the job done right the first time while the business might not be the least expensive company is well worth the price. I have found all their employees sent to be honest and clear about what needs to be done, and I will use the company when needed.

Michael did a fantastic job with the plumbing, explained things gave an estimate that is accurate, and was considerate and helping with the peripheral perform needed. It was a relief to have someone on a Saturday afternoon after places I found on Angie's list were unavailable.
I called at 11am with my problem and the dispatcher stated that a tech would be outside between 1pm and 3pm. She predicted to state the tech was running late and then at 1:30 to mention that he was on his way. This is a welcome change from the service tech who promises to come at a time, never to show up or call. The Roto-Rooter technology was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and communicative. He diagnosed the problem, provided three strategies to solving the problem with clearly described outcomes and costs and then completed the course of action. The fix was profitable. Roto-Rooter will get all my plumbing work in the future.
I had a issue with my garbage disposal and I was able to have a technician to provide a free quote. Although using a"window" of time to get a consultation can be bothersome, I received a call 30min prior to the technician showing up to let me know he had been on the road. The plumber, Robert W, was quite pleasant, useful, quick after he had been done and cleaned up his work area. I will call Robert and roto-rooter .
The worst. An emergency, called at 10am, has been told someone would be there between 3:30 and 1:30. I asked them to rush because it was water and a crisis flowed in my house. Called at 4 to get a status update, they connected me to the dispatcher, who said there was no way someone. Called back to ask the woman who informed me 1:30 - 3:30 what occurred and how they could be so wrong on the time, and she just kept asking if I wanted to be connected to the dispatcher again because he's more accurate timeframes...? They made no attempt to apologize, no attempt to come out in 9 - thank god I called another company . They made me sit around for 6 hours before they said they could not get there till 9. Very unprofessional, and a waste of time. Lots of better options .
