Mark Kolecke Plumbing

Mark's been doing excellent work for us now. We've had him in for a few other, smaller issues, all which have been repaired in a timely manner. His rates are always very fair. His quotes -- in my case -- have been better than the competition's. He is an honest professional plumber.
We were needing a basement system. Most of the pipes we talked with wanted to put in a check-valve system, also felt that it wasn't even really feasible to put in a less-expensive altered overhead sewer at our home, probably due to a"extra work" it needed. Mark, however, didn't observe the so-called"extra work" as extra work. He saw it as what was needed to supply the best answer to our basement-flooding issue. We saved a lot of money.

Couldn't be more satisfied. Had out a major plumbing firm to the house for two troubles. Replacing a kitchen sink and a small repair of a toilet. They charged me a ridiculous amount for coming out and were unable to fix either issue. Got in touch and that he had been out right on time. Was able to fix my sink and that he let me know that I had to order a part that is particular to fix the toilet. His support was fantastic and so was his cost. I recommend him.

Bill came to the house the next day and he couldn't make out it, although Mark known as, flooding and was clogged. Specialist and he stayed to ensure everything was done right and correct. Bill known as Mark to help keep him updated on the status of what was going on and the bank did not break. I need a plumber, definitely recommend them and will be using them.

Mark helped us in many ways at our building in Cicero. After the land was taken over by us after our father's passing, we had congestion that led to the water moving into the sewer in the rain to spill over and create a large puddle between our land and our neighbors. Mark came out and not unclogged it made sure the downspout drains were functioning. Then again, when my brother had a plumber on a different issue as we were updating the flats, Mark came out and unclogged a drain - a congestion for which would have caused water to spill onto the floor and would have caused quite a bit longer to fix. Thank goodness and rescue the additional price! Mark hasn't been anything less than professional, courteous and efficient and is conscientious comprehensive.

I hired Mark Kolecke Plumbing based on a referral from my realtor. They were supposed to expand a gaspipe. After the job was done and I had been told the plumber had analyzed the plumbing for gas escapes, I made the house. The smell of gas was powerful upon entering through the front door, As soon as I came back into the house. I notified them of this issue straight away and predicted People's petrol. Mark Polecke attempted to talk me out of getting Individuals's gas come although he said he wouldn't have the ability to get into my home for at least an hour. Fortunately I did not listen to him. I am feared for my baby's safety and mine and pregnant. They told me that the plumber had employed an old valve which did not match when People's Gas arrived on the scene. It had been purposely leaking and was still bubbling when they pushed out the cooker. I did not receive an in person apology, when the plumbers finally arrived in my home after the gas was turned off by the gas company. When I asked for a reduction I had been refused. I understand mistakes are made by people, but they were not even apologetic and instead made excuses for their bad support. My realtor has said she won't ever refer business to them again.

I had, what I had been led to think, a major problem to fix in my cellar, I called Mark Kolecke Plumbing for a price quote. His quote was realistic than any others I'd gotten. I realized then how important it's to check Yelp for testimonials & get quotes, for any function you need to have done. His helper Bill and mark showed up completed the job in record time, but looked over connections which may cause future issues two weeks later. Mark is honest and comprehensive, these traits are tough to find, in these times.

Great plumber!! Knows what he's doing as well as reasonable. Dependable. There if he says he's likely to be there. We discovered him just over a year ago and have called him 3 or 4 times. Extremely competent rather than one to make claims. Very honest guy! Finest plumber we have called from the 16 decades of owning house. We have likely seen the work of 10 technicians and this is the guy wewill keep calling long as he's willing and able to take the task and called back!

Mark is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. You will not ever want another plumber again once you've hired him.

Mark was a plumber advocated by a different plumber that has been highly rated on Yelp. We had an issue with our sump pump which has been operate continuously. From the questions he requested he had been very thorough an exact in what had to be performed at the house. He had been reasonable because of his pricing that an we agreed on the installment he there sooner than scheduled ( which is really amazing for contractors ) when he came he discovered that the job had more work than shared and charged accordingly. Throughout the install two yo and my two kids 5yo were curious. You kids can be distracting and bothersome. He did his job in about one hour. What I enjoy the most about him was that he asked open ended questions to see what I would expect via our discussions at work and what could be wanted. Overall I recommend him to anyone that needs a plumber and would use him again.

Another household in my son's preschool recommended to me mark. Amazing to work with and I highly recommend him. I had a leak in the water main needing also two other smaller jobs and a license. He fixed everything timely and also the review passed with no problems. He was affordable and was very professional. The major thing is that he did what needed to be done, nothing more AND revealed up when he said he would! That is an honest guy who knows what he will be straight up about the job and is doing. I have worked with many many contractors over the years and Mark Kolecke stands out among the best. Highly recommended. Give him a call and you will not be let down!
