This is. Was extremely rude and quoted me a completely ridiculous price of $350 to rekey 2 deadbolts. He was competitive when I dropped his services that he got mad and demanded for showing up an $85. I told him to leave my house and paid him. I called another locksmith who billed me and has been professional. I would not ever let this guy back to my home.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! . Took about 45 minutes that he showed up and it took him perhaps 5 minutes to receive my car open and charged me $144 bucks!?! This really is a scam company. No one ought to be charged to get their keys from their vehicle. Inferior service. The guy was an asshole too.
SCAM ALERTI locked my keys in my car (like a dummy) and this location showed up in my Google search. I was bait for them. I must have called Glens or Action.
He got out my keys , no kidding - 30 minutes and then said,"that will be 40". He went back swiped my card, and brought me a shoddy printed that I notice, after the truth, hadn't total printed on it, and I was not paying attention, so it was signed by me. He went back to the car, and brought me a copy of the receipt that he had full of $120 as the total.
When I called to ask why I had been overcharged so much, I had been hung up on, provided no info. Fortunately, my insurance managed to cover this time to me, however, STAY AWAY. Call Action or Glen's.
I'd five 0 stars if I could.
This location explained it would take about 30 minutes and quoted me a 40 to receive my keys out of the car. Not bad, so it appeared. Approximately 45 minutes later, an unmarked car pulled up - red flag - using a child in a car seat in the backseat - second flag.
We thought because we had been in the area this would be a locksmith. When I called, the lady that answered was not too fine, she told me until the technician came, it would be 15 to 30 mins. She was vague about the purchase price and didn't get detailed advice. The locksmith didn't even understand the area, even though we had been at Sugarhouse and the business is called Sugar House Locksmith. They didn't arrive until 1 hour later, twice the time they informed us, the technician hardly spoke English, I had to call a number of times to see where the technician was, the leather in my car had been somewhat damaged, and then they charged us $125. Not worth the hassle and time!
I believed because it had been in the place I needed, this could be a locksmith. I called and they were not able to inform me if they are able to do my lock. They called back and said they could, and scheduled a moment. I should have been tipped off when they forgot to ask for my address! I waited following the time that was allotted, and they never showed up or called. I should have saved myself some time and appeared at the well-rated locksmith on Yelp (so should you)
