Top Lock and Key

Mr. Gene is amazing! Plus, he is very professional, considerate and an absolute great locksmith. He does and I highly recommend his services, he is reasonably priced. I will contact him for any of my future locksmith needs and talking to anyone I discover is in need of his services!

BEWARE!!! I called when I locked the keys within a week 18, my flat door to be unlocked by Gene. I choose him to come being that he was reasonably priced and could come in the other firms I predicted within the shortest period of time. However this was a HUGE MISTAKE! Upon coming Gene could not unlock the door with the"standard" locksmith tools (the little L-shaped tool that he wiggled within the primary hole). He moved back to his truck to get tools after about 5-10 min failed attempt. He came back with a screwdriver to my door and hauled the surface of the lock away. Now while this did FINALLY unlock my door, the lock is broken because the lock face is loose and bent today which is a security concern for my household. Such a way can anyone else if Gene could unlock the door. At the time that I was running for my important appointment but paid Gene his commission by check and didn't make a fuss. As soon as I called Gene the next day to say my concern with the lock asked him to replace it with a brand new one. He seemed to know this BUT stated he was not able to return to my place that day (Friday) but could come the next day. So this response is accepted by me and carried on with my day. Saturday morning Gene called. The first thing outside his mouth was because he wished to wait till with rid his bank that he was not coming. I tried to assure him that the check had actually cleared the morning thus he had nothing to worry about but he refused to concede saying the next Tuesday, he would call me. I am not that kind of person while I know check fraud is nothing new. It causes more trouble than its worth.... Tuesday came and went with no word in Gene. So I called him to follow up. Now I didn't need to make good on his job because he had ALREADY been paid and really feel just like Gene tried to avert the situation. Gene started to get argumentative in arranging a fresh appointment and blame me. So I let him know I'd be home that afternoon around 4:30pm. He agreed to come by but didn't need to commit to providing a lock that was brand new although that was originally agreed to by him. "He needed to look at it ". Gene stated he could come at the appointed time we ended up the call. I waited about 20 mins before calling him AGAIN and to no surprise that he had yet another explanation as to why he was not coming. He became argumentative saying he had got another was to. However !! He didn't bother to give me a call to cancel or at the time he had agreed to just a couple of hours. Instead he used the reason"When his telephone rings he has to go". Now I'm livid. . He took a different job and brushed me I offered to come get a lock since it is too much of a hassle for him to return to me personally. Of course he agreed to this but couldn't commit to WHEN he would be willing to do so. No one I know to this guy will be referred by me. IMO Gene lacks ethics and business ethics. He lacks the skill to unlock a door without causing additional damage. I ought to have withheld payment before the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction regret every picking to Do business. I realize today he was being given the benefit of the doubt by HUGE MISTAKE. One star is actually credit. Lesson learned!

Gene is very prompt, professional, considerate. You can absolutely count on him to get the work done! His prices are reasonable also!!!
