This provider saves the day, am so delighted with the service warranty. Dishwasher is washing machine and has drained. Paul understood exactly what the problem was right away and Dudek guy that is fine respectful. Abotts plumbing is represented by this guy, thank you sir

I had Abbott's Plumbing outside to look at my clogged shower drain. My system was ancient of it being replaced, so I accepted. Had I understood this is what I'd have been left with, I would never have enabled them. The escutcheon plate is insanely large for my small shower and bathroom. It looks absolutely absurd. On several points, you can view through it on top of this while searching through the access panel. This will cause more damage if I were to consider actually using my bathtub. Why something so large?!? I know that my setup was unlike most because it was old and there were 4 knobs holes, but they were spaced out that using a single plate in an attempt to cover them all should never have been an alternative. I trusted an proper replacement would be chosen and was not revealed what went into my shower ahead. It's absolutely awful and thus much the only thing the company has said is they aren't responsible for damage to tile and offered to recommend a builder. This should either be fixed by these and has been performed poorly or they should refund me the cost of this part of the work. This is no problem about tile damage. It's a matter about the work what has been left behind and that has been done.
I was also left to clean up and my linen cupboard door closes - .
The man who came out was pleasant, but he seemed like he had never seen. When it was outside of his expertise range, he should have said so. And if it was not, he should have done a far better job. That has been a situation that is much simpler, although he did a nice job with the cellar shower that was upgraded too.
They charge, this is not what I should be left with. I won't use this company ever and I wish I had read through the testimonials. I simply can't feel that this is considered an acceptable job by anyone's standards.

I tell them and I needed to pay $50 to them to come out to do a quote. Once they left I looked myself online and discovered numerous builders (and pipes ) offering free quotes estimates and I believe contractors that are overpriced and don't get hired would be the ones that charge for quotes.
So I shall review my review from a few days back. I was annoyed, but guessed I'd calm down and supply explain. My wife calls a plumber to take a look at a occupation that is little. They call me and say it will be $50 and that goes towards the cost of the case. They arrive. The guys are fine, but they inform me the job will cost $500, but that if I hire for both, it is going to be approximately $450, after showing them the two issues, which I thought to be fairly minor.
I believed that was somewhat high, and I inquired how long it will take them and they inform me that one problem will take about 15 minutes to fix and that costs $230 (approximately - don't have the receipt with me in the present time ) and the other one will be closer to one hour and that'll be closer to $370 and will take closer to an hour to repair. I inquire how they figure they inform me that it's the price and that occupation costs that far. I cannot for the life span of me understand how a 15-minute job to repair a ring prices over $200.
Their work might be useful, but I don't and won't ever know. I believed I wasted $50 and that left a bad taste in my mouth, although to their credit, they were fast and could be good for emergencies. I don't care to their business model and question their costs.

Abbott's plumbing is a company that is dishonest. I had 3 toilets installed on the weekend sometime last year. Less than a year later, one of them is clogged. They're telling me it's not a crisis when I'm home, and they can not come out after 3pm. Replacing toilets isn't a crisis but they gladly took my money and installed superior toilets on the weekend. Now that I'm having trouble with this, they can not come out because a bathroom isn't a crisis by their standards when I'm home.

The sewer line broke- that the connection was not there or it broke. Since we were under warranty we had them back to fix at no cost. However this time they had to dig up our sidewalk to fix and again the way they left the lawn was/has been a nightmare to fix. So we trying to find the grass to return in the lawn a year and half afterwards and spent several hundred to fix the sidewalk.

The first thing Monday morning, the supervisor from Abbott's called and said he'd gone through the weekend calls and realized there'd been an error and that I was told that in error. They weren't charging me to video the line give and to diagnose a quote. He said he offered to send someone out that day to provide the estimate and still wanted a chance at my enterprise. I felt that the customer support was top notch! I was amazed that they cared enough correct the miscommunication within the weekend and to pursue me.
Richard spent a couple of hours reviewing each of the options with me and videoing the line and came out. To make a long story short, I spent the next several hours calling him back with question. I was upfront with them with my inclination to use them to take advantage of this policy and BGE Home.
Have known for awhile that my main sewer line was likely going to have to be replaced. I have had an insurance plan coverage through BGE Home to greatly reduce the cost when the time had a quote from them for the occupation and came. I decided to phone around to compare and only get a few more remarks and quotes. Abbott's initially came out and said there could be a commission until they could give an estimate, and so I apologized for the misunderstanding and said I wasn't going to find the estimate, to video the line. That was on the weekend.
In the long run, Abbott's matched the cost for its trenchless replacement offered through BGE with my policy (that was an unbelievable game!!!!!) , the NEXT day to complete the job, arrived for LIFE came out. Even BGE Home stated they knew why I had to go with Abbott's!
The rest and richard Pat were outstanding. Everybody was friendly, knowledgeable and exceptionally patient with this woman who asked a million questions about the replacement. I really feel convinced the job was done it was scrutinized by the county, and it is! Fantastic customer service

Anyway, Chris recognized the problem(s) and two important components were sent to us next day by Noritz. Tankless works now.
Then and abbott Plumbing came to diagnose mend our newest Noritz Tankless waterheater. We have been fighting this for more than a year, first installing a bigger gas line to satisfy the Noritz expectations (required 9 weeks with BGE). We finally have an immediate gas line from the meter (new and higher pressure) into the Tankless. A top installer not set up with our Geothermal the noritz, but they confessed it was too sophisticated for them to fix, when this lemon acted up. Noritz ikes to put callers on hold to get a time. This cost us an extraordinary amount of money (which should have been covered by the Noritz guarantee ).
I hope Noritz honors the fact that we started with this matter long before the year labor warranty was expired.

Absolutely a dreadful experience. Since I was having an issue with water seeping upward from my flooring in my 20, I called Abbot. As soon as the dishwasher would operate it was occurring.
The exact same day, A tech came out. First thing he said was there's a $49 service charge for the trip ( on their site it says Free home evaluations and quotes ). Since he was already there, I agreed. He looks the dishwasher with a flashlight round, then informs me he will have to take apart the dishwasher to find the leak. There'll be $189.00 charge to diagnose the leak and it would be implemented to repair. I consented. I guessed a repair was had by My machine . The job order is signed by me. In two seconds the leak is diagnosed by him as coming from the dishwasher and that I would need to call an appliance repairman as it is a problem specific to Whirlpool. I refused to pay the $189.00 identification fee and asked him to speak to his manager. We finally settled and that I payed the 49.00 service charge. Worst experience ever with a plumber!

Abbott arrived to replace a flapper and a bathroom distribution valve. The job was done well, stated it might take about 2 hours. It took approximately 25 minutes--that the charge--$402! After telling him was a high cost, he gave me a $35 off coupon.

Needed to shut off our chief to the house due to our tub leaking (and no secondary closed off). Called after with a no display from yesterday. Made an appointment for 4pm, and once I got home (at 4) the guy was here prepared to work. He was in and out over an hour, and while I thought it was somewhat expensive for 30 minutes of work ($563), I'm just happy to having running water again (after two days without).

I phoned Abbott's plumbing to come repair a leak in my kitchen . I was told because there was only 1 call ahead of me, they would be there in a couple hours. While waiting I eventually realized the problem was having an upstairs toilet and got the leak. But bc they had stated they would be there in a few hours I did not go to work. They told me that the two bolts holding on the tank were loose and then came 6 HOURS LATER at 3pm. That is it. Nothing was really broken. He said I could cover $189 for him to tighten 49 or these two bolts for the ceremony fee and have ME tighten them --so I paid $49. He was clearly amused at how simple it was. It might have been MUCH business for them to take the 49 service call charge, take the 3 minutes to twist both screws and have me rave about them and recommend them to friends. Instead, I was angry to have used precious time and become ripped off. He was pretty amused. Yuck.

I had just finished cleaning up from that flood. The we have more rain. I moved to the basement only to find it flood. I called plumbers and they were busy and couldn't get out here. Was Abbott's. I explained my basement was flooding and that I needed someone straight away. Whenever the next plumber broke free, they would ship him out, I was told. I explained that I had had hip surgery and that I could not keep up with this water. In one hour, Chris called me and told me he was on his way. He went to the basement arrived shortly and conducted all of the water from the toaster. It ran until he could finally take outside the older sump pump and replaced it with a fresh one and ran. In addition, he swept the water to the sump pump out of the basement since I was unable to do it. I told him he would be my plumber to get life. The service that I received was priceless, although yes, it was somewhat expensive in my fixed income. Thank you Abbott's and thank you Chris.

Plumbing is the best plumbing company in Baltimore region. Their staff understands their trade out and inside and is professional. They leave the house cleaner than when they arrived. I'm comfortable leaving them access to the house when I am not dwelling. Abbotts is the company!

Excellent service the whole way. I had a crisis situation with a main sewer line and a home with 4 young boys inside. They were able to get me scheduled for the day and did an wonderful job! Rich and Hal get shout outs for describing everything through while I peppered them with questions and being good natured and courteous the way. Abbott's Plumbing really deserves the 5 stars!

Have used a few times to them for repairs. Prompt and courteous. Face it, home repair costs are large, however I find their prices honest and they provide coupons and discounts. Quite happy with their services.

Nice guys but never gave options to us. We had a sewer line issue and it had been an emergency and they responded. My wife and they spoke together but I believe they did not give options to us. After talking with plumbers and doing some reading I realized we had many more economical possible answers. I wish they had provided to replace our older galvanized water support if they had the trench out of doing the sewer line replacement, open. While they had been backfilling after the trench was backfilled by them we had a water line break that afternoon. They came back and fixed. Replace the water line and came the following day a supervisor and provided to redig the job or only fix what they broke at no cost. The job was quoted at a second $1000. I said only fix. Well broke in a place that was different. We'd signed a waiver saying any future fractures would not be covered. They asked when the sewer was being done, why we did not replace the line after calling a lot of pipes. Apparently galvanized pipe becomes brittle when exposed and after backfilling and settling will more than likely break. Which it did. So after an addition $2300 with the other plumber( Stephens Plumbing and Heating) we are fixed.
Abbotts were quite receptive when I had some issues using the water meter pay; which the bankrupt. And with this sewer line's grading job. However, I believe they did not explain the procedure and it cost us more at the finish.

We called Abbott's Plumbing on a Friday since we had a leak in the kitchen coming from beneath the sink. They stated there was no fee for coming out on a Saturday. They did arrive as intended and revealed that the faucet expansion had a break in it. They can replace it with one. The price would be $705 or we can get our own and another day they would have to return. Facing the week-end with an extra fee and no water to reunite, we opted to sign the order and go with it. Shortly after we were told by a neighbor that her tap repair cost $350 and there was a problem getting off the faucet. We discovered that the costs for replacing a tap in our place price between $200 and $350 and researched on the internet. The repairmen were approached by us . They contacted someone in the workplace who agreed to dismiss the ceremony to $670. They maintained their hourly rate was $198 and were here about an hour. Feeling very taken advantage of, we gave them a check for $550 attempting to determine what the price should truly be. On Monday payment stopped as with research we felt it was far from an appropriate selection. The proprietor called to work things out in the week's close. He had been willing to take a $550 check and wouldn't reduce the price. Since he introduced an argument we made and we got . We understood we made a number of mistakes in overestimating the payment at $550 and not understanding a cost ahead of time, but we also feel this company cared for us and is far overpriced.
