I can't say enough great things about Sewer and AHS Pipes. I had been unfortunate enough to possess floor drain backup in my cellar that had NEVER happened before. I dropped my finished basement because of a foot of sewer water.
They were quick and professional, and most importantly they were friendly, caring solved my problem, worked in an way inside my home, and gave me the ability to sleep soundly at night when it rains! I can't say thank you enough for showing me a different way to repair a very stressful and unhealthy problem. I highly recommend this company!
I called AHS, Dan came out right away, and he came up without the price or mess to dig my front lawn with an elaborate and costly system.
He laughed at me explaining it as a"emergency" even though we have the text chain with him where he asserts"departing our ejector pump plugged in and running is unsafe....we strongly suggest changing out the ejector pump now or tomorrow to prevent flooding with sewer..." That sounds like an emergency to me, how bout you, Dan?
Dan came out to tackle a toilet dilemma. It was. He informed us that"emergent" work required to be performed for $980. Regrettably we thought him and the bill for each the work he did for us was $1645. The very next time that the toilet was used (~two months later) water leaked out of the bottom of the toilet. He informed us he had not done work in our home as 19, After we addressed . After we showed him a photo of the itemized invoice he tried to tell us that this was an unrelated issue and it would be another $175. He was nice enough to offer you a refund that is small from the job, but rescinded this offer after we announced it and informed us that our business with him is over. This was the FIRST time the toilet was used since he did his"emergent" work but somehow it's not related? I wouldn't expect this guy to clog it is less fixed by my toilet. Thankfully we were able to find another company to come in and fix his work.
We had a leak in some very old copper pipes . Dan out of AHS was prompt, courteous, and fair. He did an wonderful job correcting the issue. His explanation of other possible problems was fantastic. I love his professionalism. Fantastic job!
Highly recommend! Called two weeks before Thanksgiving and they were within an hour. Kept me posted with progress of scenario and owner came to supervise situation. Resolved communication that was fantastic and problem. Very professional and effective, wouldn't consider calling anybody in the future.
This is a family firm and it sounded like the mother was the person who did so since someone who sounded like it could have been the daughter was challenged by me and cancelled. Not very professional.
Cannot recommend - would never use them - and wish I could give less than 1 star.
She didn't ask me to my side of the narrative, and when I inquired,"didn't tell you what happened?" Her reply was,"Yes, I heard what happened from her." I am not sure she got the version that is correct given perplexed that girl was who called me, but okay. I would not work that schedules individuals, makes mistakes when phoning, and then blames it on the client who only answered the phone and had to deal with the confused individual on their own end.
Please note - when the confused individual called me, I wasn't rude, I didn't raise my voice, I wasn't snotty, I didn't use inappropriate language, I merely made a statement in a calm tone of voice and I have a witness to back up me in the event the supplier comes on and says anything besides that.
I spoke to somebody who set me up with an appointment for the following day, and called on Monday 7/21/14. On Tuesday I got a call asking me to affirm what the problems were and telling me they'd be out on Wednesday. I questioned this, stating,"I was told you would be out today between 12 - 2pm." She said,"No, you're scheduled for Wednesday and that is when we will be out." She explained,"Oh, you're already scheduled?" I was confused by that . Then she said,"Is this John Doe (I am not using the actual name, of course )." I said,"No, but I know who that is. I believe he lives in my town, but that is not me." (I wasn't making this up, I know him since he is an active member of my church.) She explained,"Well that is what we down." I said,"I am a bit concerned that if you are messing this up component of it which you may mess up the work." She said,"No, I know who you are now. I believed YOU said it had been scheduled for tomorrow. I said,"Okay" but wrapped up and said to a neighbor who had been "That was the strangest conversation I've ever had with a service firm."
Schedule at your own risk together - but know that you may be taking some time off from work to have them cancel at the last minute.
From their office supervisor I got a phone call at 12:40 today stating that because she heard what had occurred and heard I had issues that they would not be coming out after all and would not be servicing me in the future.
