After Albert introduced himselfI gave him a run down of the problem that we were having. As luck would have it in the time I placed my service call to Air Mechanical into the time he arrived course's air conditioner worked fine at that time he arrived on site. There is not anything worse than having a issue since this can make it very hard for the technician to diagnose whether the problem is 35, with something that is an intermediate problem. None the less I gave him a run down of what was going on with the air conditioner.
He charged a service call, could have easily said everything worked good and been on his way but instead he took the time to get into the bottom of the matter and fix everything. I am someone that has a great deal of experience dealing in a time sensitive area service industry and I was very impressed with my experience from begin to finish. After the price is exceeded by the value of a service, cost no longer becomes a problem and also the cost is warranted by the sort of service you get. I will certainly use them again since it's hard to find decent service companies. If you value your time and would like to just"do it" without worries, provide Air Mechanical an attempt.
I came to work this morning to locate our office was at 80° because of a broken air conditioner. I called another firm before phoning Air Mechanical along with another firm I called answered the phone with a"YUP?" I want nothing to do so I decided to look elsewhere, with a business that can't even answer the phone. The person that took my call was considerate (unlike the first place I called) & assured me getting service same day wouldn't be a issue. I had been extended a call I want to know someone was on the way. The technician Albert arrived with a service truck in uniform prepared to repair the issue.
I was a little worried he wouldn't be able to find the problem when he arrived as it was working. It's easy to just give up & state I don't find any issues. Albert took the time to actually take the unit apart to get to the base of what was going on which turned out to be a capacitor that was causing the device to not dismiss any atmosphere. Not only did he figure the issue out while the device still worked, but he had the part he had to fix it upon his truck to get the unit back in business. He clarified my repair options and recommendations along with showing a picture of the part that was bad to me.
Brian shows up, instantly introduces himself tells one of our lights to me was broken and he could fix it while he was still here. Then he moved to a pitch about each the things he can fix and install; redoing our recessed lighting . I want my Nest. He moved down to the cellar to checkout the chimney and electric panel.
As I explained when I called, he must have been aware of what was required for the install. He had the cables in his own truck. But he can not install. We argue that the $110 out. I thought a given service, not an estimate was covered by the service fee, although I agreed Michelle told me about it. I've never paid someone to give me an estimate.
I spoke with Michelle and phoned them up. I told her exactly what I wanted and also, we'd love to perform a HVAC maintenance program. She moved to go through the programs, also going into great detail regarding a electric plan along with a plumbing program (neither of which I was interested in). It was a pretty long pitch. She said she would email me all the details so that I can choose my plan.
He also continued his sales pitch as he walked outside.
Back to the Nest set up...I explained we just had 4 wires and 5. I actually pulled on the thermostat off the wall and we discussed exactly what I saw. She said it was a $110 service fee and $79 installation fee. I agreed and we scheduled the appointment for today (7/5/19) involving 12-5.
Yeah, I won't call them again. They are more interested in how much money they can scam you from, compared to supplying the customer with honest, dependable support.
It's pretty rare that I give a 1 star review.
At 7:45 am, I get a call that Brian is on his way. Huh? I am 100% convinced my appointment was 12-5, since as much as possible I have kids and prevent premature appointments. So not a good start.
We just moved into a house with a thermostat. We wanted to replace it using our thermostat, which we've used and had in many houses. My husband was unable since we had to do a little bit of re-wiring to install. This company, per site is a installer.
He explains we need to add a wire. He informs us we can purchase ourselves to one to spend less. He's one in his truck though. But for some reasonhe was unable to set up. I tell him I am perplexed because that was the main reason for the appointment: set up the Nest. He goes back to the fact. I explain that I understand that, I told Michelle that when I called to make the appointment. Brian stated this was an appointment for the estimate. What?! Oh, and that is going to be $110.
Way too expensive and Far too much Large pressure sellingWe paid $300 per hour dreadful
Of"service plans'"smoke detectors" etc..
We purchased four Nest IQ cameras for the exterior of the house. On the Nest website it recorded their Installers and among them had been Air Mechanical. I did some study on the company and looked at their testimonials. All seemed well so I phoned and the telephone was replied by Kyle. I told him I wanted to schedule an install for four exterior Nest IQ cameras. He mentioned that an appointment was likely to be a ways out but that was OK with me. I specifically mentioned that a 2 story ladder will be required by the rear of our house. He explained that he would make sure he noted that and that the installer would have when they came to do the job. An appointment was scheduled between Noon and 5:00pm. I didn't receive a confirmation call and now when I had not heard anything by 1:00 I predicted. Said I was not on the schedule but that they could get out someone to do our job. Approximately a half hour later I received a call from Brian, their master electrician, he asked since I wasn't there this afternoon when I had been put on the schedule and wanted to learn more about the job. He told him the story and he said he would come over and do our job. I will call for a ladder that was sufficient and mentioned that the rear of our house is two stories. It was at this stage that he does not think now will operate and explained it's likely to be a two man job but he'll assess and either he or the office will get back to me. He called me back and said August 16 between 4:00 and 10:00 is currently the soonest. I asked him to get a rough estimate of what our job will price and he began rambling about their"service programs" and how if I spent $159 for the electric service plan it'd save me and that. I listened for like three minutes and couldn't get a word in edgewise. When he finally allow me to get a word in I requested a couple of questions and we hung up the telephone. Called the office and let them know we won't be rescheduling. With offered an apology for my annoyance or their error.
Never. Ever. Ever. Will we consider using this company. I don't care that recommends them!
Best service around! They have worked on my gas and geothermal system. Very educated and obsessive about I want to know when they are currently showing up to get an appointment. I have used them for installing and plumbing a new door.
I needed a unit. I took an image of the factory sticker on the device that comprised the size and model info needed to receive a estimate. So that I thought I'd stop by to ask a quote, I live a few miles away. I talked with the receptionist upon entrance and she phoned a sales man also gave me the phone. After explaining my situation she stated they would have to schedule someone to come out. I explained that I have everything needed to deliver a quote. She repeated that they would have to send somebody out. As I tried to be effective, this did not make sense for me. I agreed to get an in house estimate. She then asked if morning or afternoon worked best. I said anytime after three functions best. She proceeded to tell me that I would have to deliver an window . I said that anytime after three would work and that I did not want to take some time off. We agreed that one of my kids or wife could be there. She then told me to that the estimate would be $ 100 be sure to leave money to them to cover the guy! This was all over the phone in be lobby of the enterprise. Gave the phone is backed by the receptionist and walked outside. I will never do business with a company that charges for a quote.
The office staff was very friendly and helpful when scheduling my appointment.
I would absolutely reach out to Air Mechanical for any future demands.
I needed a programmable thermostat . Dalton came. He was very helpful, friendly and respectful of the home. He also explained my thermostat that was brand new to me so I knew how to operate it, together with the app that I could use.
1 thing that surprise me was that the firm sent me advice on Dalton, such as his picture, so I knew when he arrived to my door, that it was him. That was nice.
I was looking for someone to devote a new air conditioner, water heater and water heaters. I ended up picking Air Mechanical since they were up front with everything. Setup for a lot of couple of hours in one day and all the elements are working great. I'd recommend these guys.
Happy with this company and all involved. Brian, as our tech, and the office employees, as well. Wouldn't go anywhere else! He ordered for my furnace filters to be shipped to me thus they are on hand as needed. Could not be simpler!
Satisfied with Air Mechanical, I have been using their services.
I had a furnace service Tech managed to fix problem and was fine. Price was very high, double what it should be. I guess when it's winter and you don't have any warmth they can charge whatever they want. No sign of closing price was granted prior to service. I would suggest to discuss price outcomes that are potential .
I'won' a humidifier that was free. Air Mechanical installed it and I was set up. A grenade collapsed in the furnace shortly after. They installed a new transformer and came back. A few days later, the fuse that was internal was blown by that transformer. Air Mechanical installed a new transformer and returned. I made sure the humidifier wasn't turned on until I got in a new furnace, it was worked great. And no, Air Mechanical did not put in the new furnace and won't ever return in my home.
Great company! They did a thorough job. Our rep Dalton was great. He clarified all our options for future fixes answering all my questions and had excellent knowledge of the furnace. There was not any tension to incur the cost right then and there to resolve some things which were showing wear. He provided cost and options if we desired to down the street, to fix. I was extremely happy with this provider.
I've been a utilizing Air Mechanical to the previous 5 decades and have always had exceptional support. The technicians are respectful, professional and great . They explain what they are going to do and are apparent in their recommendations. I highly suggest them.
Brandon L was fantastic. Showed up on time and was very good at answering all the questions I had for him. Fast and friendly.
We had Air Mechanical out to fix our Ven Mar air exchanger. We were really satisfied and got we worked with. Would definitely use them again.
We have had to utilize Air Mechanical a long time within the last couple of months due to the era of our current systems. Now was that the water heater, and Chad F. managed to replace a part rather than the water heater itself. He provided great support and was a great guy.
