My hot water heater needed replacement and thus they took mine away & proceeded to pick me one and it was done in less than 2 hours.
To find hot water again!!
I think I could have seen someone less costly but I'm glad it took a minimum amount of effort to me
They were pleasant and efficient!
When I ran from hot water it took a couple of days for Allen's to come out, however they came when they said they would. Because their workplace is in Maui at first I was nervous but the service I got out of Daniel and his partner was a excellent.

I was not happy with Soli Lofotu, Jr. from Allens Plumbing. To begin with, the response time was 2 days from my telephone that the water heater wasn't working. The charge was $50 to come outside to examine the issue and that the plumber could phone me. Soli called me and stated that it would cost $1300 and that the water heater required to be replaced. After I told him that a hot water heater cost about $400, he stated that the valve required to be replaced but that he would reduce the cost. Being that there was no hot water for 3 times, I accepted the price tag of $1100. After installing the water heater and twist hose, the water heater wouldn't begin. Soli suggested that the sub electrical box was HECO's property and also that there was a kind of sub box which wasn't transmitting any electricity and that I needed to telephone HECO to fix the issue. The short and long of it was that Soli should have checked if there was electricity and gave false statements about the costs and the job to be performed. Allens Plumbing has been a disappointment. I felt as though I was being taken. Obviously, I won't use Allens Plumbing again.

Fantastic customer support! I phoned allens plumbing to repair my kitchen sink that leaked beneath and the garbage disposal has been busted. They promptly arrived to correct it by altering the sink and adding a new garbage disposal, and was done as well as great. I phoned them to come and check it out, and they promptly sent someone out, and the man said it looks like the garbage disposal had a flaw, so he changed it said it was covered under warranty and didn't charge me anything, very fair of him. They deliver fast support and that's precisely what I enjoy about this company. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone searching for a quick, friendly, and dependable plumbing company...

This review is strictly regarding the hazardous and dangerously aggressive driver of an Allens Plumbing van around 9:30 a.m. on September 3, 2019 from the Kailua area. Workers driving company vehicles should be aware they are representing a company, and should be driving with aloha and caution.

I'm very disappointed with the job. I called a month ago because my neighbor stated that there was a leak in my bathroom that was detrimental her ceiling. Randy stated the bathroom was leaking and came out and he would need to unscrew it, take it off, and screw it back in tightly so it would not escape. He added a couple of spots of grouting here and there, didn't take off the grouting and did a job. It was very badly done.
Only thing is that I won't ever use this business, although I'm unsure what will happen tomorrow.
My neighbors complained it was leaking, so that he came out again and substituted my tub fixtures. He explained that's why the water was still leaking and that it was loose. Ok.... A few days after my neighbors known to say it was leaking. Guy Randy came back and said it was the tub. I'm angry. He charges every time. At this point I've spent over $1,000.00. My neighbors call me again and now they are mad because there's still a leak. I call and I'm told the man would return that day, after he completed his tasks.
Ummm....noooo...I do not want him to return, and I want someone here today. This time 2 guys indicate I have my entire bathroom and return replaced. Meanwhile, Randy had coated the big hole that he made with plastic trash bags in my neighbor's ceiling. I scheduled a drywall guy to come and fix my neighbor's ceiling but that I do not want to pay him $450.00 to fix it until I understand the leaking has stopped. I phoned again (5th time) and since I was attempting to explain to the workplace clerk I had to get things done, she rudely cut me off and said somebody would come tomorrow morning again and hung up on me. I'm rather unhappy with my treatment and also their inability to fix a leak after I paid near 1,200.00.

We called a plumbing companies beginning with people who had good reviews. This was to extent a drain line. This is as a courtesy to prospective customers although I do not post reviews. The plumber never revealed although we arranged our schedules about this and showed up at the morning at 7:30 am. After calling in to find out what happened I received a chilly response of....we can match you in later this day. Unfortunately, our time wasn't valued by Allen's Plumbing as we expected.

If you dont need to experience the Don't phone
Once you refuse to hire them after they inspect the work to be performed onsite then, be ready to pay the outrageous $50 cancellation fee and estimate inflated prices for their work.
My review was posted by me within 2 decades back, and I can not believe people are calling this business and becoming taken by their shady tactics!
They dont give quotes of which may be given out as a fantastic faith estimates many tasks. Other firms give quotes over the phone.

Allen's Plumbing said I had to have a technician come out to quote me a price and refused to provide me a quote on the telephone. They pulled up pricing on an iPad, when the technician got here. They tried to charge me $700 to put in a dishwasher which I own and operate 2 feet of water . They told me it'd take about 90 minutes. So, I declined because over $700 for 90 minutes of work is a text book definition of insanity.
Obviously, they charged me $50 that they were here and attempted adding taxation.
They could not provide me a price on the telephone but could pull up it in an iPad in under a minute.

Justin & bennett are all fantastic! As home owners of an older house with old pipes we can not say enough about the support that team and Justin supplied. He called to assist when Justin understood the project was more complex than anticipated. From the office manager to the whole group, Bennett and Justin get our bathrooms and solve our issue and they desired to troubleshoot up and functioning. We recommend them highly for the plumbing and drain problems.

The plumber (Justin) with Allen's plumbing came an hour late for the appointment. He located the flow on my Toto bathroom, said that the item couldn't be repaired so that I want a new toilet seat. For 15 minutes of labour, and picking up a seat that was new, he lent me $180. He promised to have discovered another leak. The total was $360. He couldn't locate the part. I want a new bathroom ($800). The following leak in the tank. Can't locate the part. After 15 minutes of research, I locate both parts he claims can not be discovered. Miraculously, he discovered both parts . Now the total for everything is $460. He said it took some time to find the parts. The manager and the complete was disputed by me. They said they will return to me. No reply. A total charge of over $550 was billed with no receipt.
Lies, no receipt, grossly overcharged for appointments, extremely rude , occasionally late for hardly any work. Contacting the better business bureau.

I would give this business zero stars if I could. We live in neighborhood complex and in my building there are 8 units (4 up/4 downstairs). In the afternoon the unit under us had a leak in their ceiling. They reasoned it was coming out of our kitchen sink. I didn't get his name but he was a pair Samoan guy that came where the escape was to mend.
If this is how your plumbers are, I wouldn't recommend this company. . Bc this plumber did not have respect for our property.
He was a entire slob. He did not throw out his garbage into the dumpster (although he took it upon himself to take our trash bag with no recognition ) nor did he put any of those items that was under our sink back. My husband gave him a cold soda and allow him to use our bathroom. In return he did not put up the seat
He came back up around 4:30 pm to fix the leak, even though he was in the business van parked in the lot.

Super prices that are expensive. Got another firm. They are fast to visit your place for a scheduled appointment, but they charge you $50 just for your site visit, if you don't utilize them. They do not give phone quotes over the phone which is clear but how you gonna stay with rates that are ridiculous in business particularly in Hawaii?

Only got from Allen's Plumbing 8, service.

Only thing is that he left my condo to pick up equipment necessary to complete job from a different support tech. Just time squandered involved as total cost was fair to me.

Nite of 12/6 Construction Manager tried to get plumbers. When he predicted because Allen's was originally recommended by him to me Allen's asked Manager, requested Bennett Peters who serviced my condominium 6/2017. Building Manager replied no but called Allen's and also we got an 8 am appointment for 12/7 and the call would be handled by Bennett Peters again!
Master bedroom bathroom sink started to drain on 12/5, used. On 12/6 drain has been strove to use a plunger.

This immediately assumed the worst and stressed me out as at the time I did not understand what happened. After sending a request for quotes from several drain providers in my area I ended up conversing via Yelp with someone from Allen's. They offered to come out instantly. It was late and that I needed to place my daughters to bed so I opted for a routine appointment. They requested to come and called me a little after 8AM. Hell yes.
Exceptional service. That I experienced my first everything I would call hurdle the primary drain line for our house became clogged. Sewage spewed into our lawn for me to call it sacred.
We're of no connection. He listened to me and came promptly tell the narrative of a backed up tub and toilet. He delivered down the camera and showed me what happened, the issue was beyond the reach of the snake so we went with the jet stream option to burst debris.
But he went over and beyond. He was great and I mean good with my two five year old daughters. He was individual and amused their curiosity. This made the difference for me. The focus on family.

Darren and his team were PHENOMENAL! We hired Allen's Plumbing to reroute our house's old sewer lines (1950s). They got the job as promised, and had been on time, extremely professional! I'd recommend them for your most challenging plumbing problems! Knowledgeable, friendly, reliable, what more can I say?! THANK YOU!

I have used several times to them to make various repairs. They are very accommodating and will send a technician quickly. The prices could be a little high, but I am always pleased with their work.

Emergency support on the drainage system asked, and we were very grateful that our phone was taken care of immediately. Considering that the Maui operator (friendly and cordial) educated us via her GPS monitor that technician's ETA was in an hour to our location, we left into a public bathroom nearby because we had to enlarge using our bathrooms. She should've been diligent to alert me he was within minutes off. We would have waited. The 5stars go out into our drain surgeon JP Y. who was quite professional explaining the drainage problem which influenced our piping, leading to flooding. He explained our choices. Hands down we'd phone Allens Plumbing again!

This is actually the first time I tried Allen's Plumbing, after paying $700 to fix a shower handle and replaced a toilet flushing unit, not because of anything wrong with the flushing unit, it is simply because I have to hold the bathroom handle for a while on ever flushing. Ater the flushing unit is set up, I still have to hold the handle this make me questions why did he urge to replace the unit. This entire experience only make me wonder...
