We thought we had to cut back our irrigation and had some huge puddles on the side of the house. The downstairs bedroom rug, the next day was a little squishy in areas. Insurance referred us to American Leak Detection. They sent out Friday evening tech Abel Lemus, who came out. He also took his time to find the chilly water slab leak in our house, and came back early the next morning (on his normal day off) to fix it. He functioned very neatly and was very professional. Not that I would want anyone else to go through this in their house, but if they did, I would recommend Abel!
The base of our pool includes marks out of their tile function. They came out to clean most of it up.

I had a leak below the concrete in my pool yard that was difficult to pinpoint because of its size. Originally, a pool tech (James) ruled-out a flow in the pool pipes and called me to the irrigation branch. Mason diligently worked to obtain the leak giving options for detection attempts to me. Glenn, his manager, joined in the fun and they were able to find the leak and fix it. From my first contact with the company (Thomas) to the techs and manager, I have be impressed by their friendly and prompt customer services. Each tech encouraged me to contact them and gave their card to me. I really don't know the previous bad evaluations. I will recommend them to anyone.
I have used this business to patch pool leaks in the past and they seemed pretty solid. But with their owner, I have left several messages during the last week in addition to filled in the web form and can not even get a callback to look at a new escape. Time to shop around.

Our technician, Nate, was fantastic! He called to let me know what time he'd be at our home, and he affirmed our appt. The next morning. We had a leak detection company because we had wet carpeting stains in our guest bedroom and did not understand that source of the problem. Nate figured out the problem and got to work. I feel that he went above and beyond. I would use this company again and would ask for Nate.
Absolute rip off. I had a potential leak at my house and without research called them. Two people showed up. One delivered another man inside the house and was giving him instructions. They gave me a charge of $275, could not do much and spent less than 25 minutes. I am sure these men are being paid less than $20 an hour. Avoid this company.
