I highly recommend Arctic.
I had been fortunate enough to select Arctic out. We had been without heating for several days following BGE and my problem could not be figured out by my service. Go figure.
Electricians are never a thing to do, but when your dealing with your breaker panel and cables within your walls, it's a no brained for me.
Kameron was my support tech with Arctic and also took good care of this install of wiring and breaker to our heater which got us back up and running.
He was pleasant with my wife once I could not be there and explained every step he do to comprehend.
Run from those men. I had them do a diagnostic. I decided to not use them since they were way too high. Pointed out that they had damaged my unit and had lied about the issue. They are not used by run from those men.
The answer from the company's owner is untrue.
You've been warned!!!! Take advantage of these men at your own risk. For the record, the other firm fixed the issue for $482...
According to them, everyone is lying. The fact is they are crooks. They dont even dispute that the tech intentionally broke the unit. She makes up a lie that I didnt want to cover the other seller which is simply not correct. You have been warned. Run from those guys.
Two days later, I had a different builder come over. He was going to patch the shingles up out of where Artic had was and replaced the pipe just a few days prior. As he was going to get started, he felt that a puddle of water to the drywall--indicating the there was a leak. As should have been done by Artic, this contractor diagnosis the actual cause of the leak, which has been misdiagnosed by Artic--hence, not really fixing the issue. Therefore me putting almost $400 for support which wasn't performed correctly. Then putting more for the job to be done by the contractor out. Because I didn't want to wait and have to dispute with the firm, I simply had the contractor get it done and fix it the right way. Really upset because unnecessary money I spent on something which wasn't done then more on the top of that to cover another person to do it right:-/.
Had a plumber come out from this business. Came to identification and fix a leaking pipe. The man was nice, friendly, the procedure when easily, a rusted pipe was replaced by him . He was there about one hour or a bit shorter. For this support, I paid nearly close. I wasn't expecting to put out this much and was shocked. If I was okay with all the price he asked, and I said yes because I needed to do it and no more deal with this dilemma.
I had a water leak. I got fast reliable service. I was impressed with the project that I had Beltway Builders come in and remove a bathroom so that they could repair floor and wall prior to Artic reinstalled the bathroom and came back readjusted my main. I cannot give celebrities for the treatment I have receiveds from such sister companies to even more.
The tech came late and drunk. I needed my unit fixed although I must have thrown him out. The price they offered was too high so I decided not to use them. The tech took the battery out of my unit leaving it inoperable. Never apply these guys.
My sump pump went about 7:00 pm 3/28 on the fritz. Charles Graves of Arctic Plumbing was the only after hour responder he came out and I could get and replaced. He was kind, courteous, informative, and even followed up this morning 3/29 to see if everything was alright. Very hands free and I would recommend them. Kudos Charles Graves.
I'm updating my review of Arctic Plumbing parties. I didn't take advantage of the offer since I had been pleased with the job, made and am a reasonable and honest man. The original pricing was my concern. I also have updated my article on Facebook.
So we bought an $8,000 heating & AC unit in August. The man knew his stuff, and the firm has been very cordial to deal with. The only issue is, the unit will not switch from heat to atmosphere and we had to call them twice to come repair it. They tell us you've got to wait to switch from heat. Expecting this visit will do just fine. Getting the thing has been a nuisance, although they are very nice about it and do respond. For $8K, I expect more.
they came out my alarm has been going off to my sump pump. They told me that I would need to pay a emergency charge of 25. He came out and told me that my pump was broken as well as the emergency fee was 225 and when I told him I was told25 he said the lady on the phone talks. Sho I was advised by him it'd be to fix the pump on top of the emergency fee. When I asked him to explain why it's so pricey all he said was that's he could care less of I receive the job done or not and just what it cost. I wonder anything he said his response was I don't care if you do it or not I get paid either way. The pump worked fine I ended up needing to replace. I would not recommend this company.

****Desired Settlement: The resolution I request is a cost match for the repairs. A competitor informed me they'd have billed me $170.00. The time for the task was 6 minutes, literally. I had been misled then tricked into the conclusion of the fix. There is A invoice receipts available upon request. This is $125 for 6 minutes plus a 400% markup on components. Does this sound reasonable to anyone. If anyone was informed of a 125.00 labor cost and a 400% percentage markup. Can you honestly think they would have obtained the small business?
I contacted my AC to be examined by Artic Plumbing Company. They informed me, as they do everyone, that in the event that you go with their support they'd get rid of the $79.99 service fee. This supplier to fix my air was hired by me. The contractor (Brian B.) arrived at 1500 as scheduled. As he examined my AC unit I was out with him. He informed me that the Capacitor needed to be substituted. I asked him"how much is that" He explained,"expensive as most of AC repairs are expensive." He explained,"I will go to my truck and see if I have one." He started to fix it and returned with the item. We asked,""How much!!" He explained when I complete, I have to call and see." He unhooked 3 screws and unscrewed two screws holding the old Capacitor. Installed Capacitor, 2 screws and 3 wires. Time ! I looked up the expense of the mentioned Capacitor, while inside. It retails for $40-50. The contractor returned with a charge of $324.93. I asked him what the breakdown of the invoice is labor, components, etc.. His receipt only explained $324.93 nothing else. He said,"I do not know." As it would have been to cancel, make payment and I called to dispute the invoice repairs have been completed. Tina that was representative was spoken by me in regards to some situation bill. She informed me that the rates are governed by Maryland (I was afterwards informed by a different firm, Extreme Comfort Heating & AC, this is not true it is actually untrue and they'd have billed me $170.00). After several minutes of whining I understood that I was immobilized and paid the invoice. What I think happens to the consumer is they notify you that they will not bill you the $79.99 and re-bundle it at the final price. As are their fix practices this advertisement is deceptive and misleading in practice. There are zero quotations given nor a request for permission to fix. This is why is not a bill breakdown, that's why representative and the tech cannot answer the queries. All events occurred on 8/5/2015 @ about 1630 hrs.

We called a HVAC places Saturday and Friday morning when our AC went outside, simply to sit and finally told we could not get a tech. Saw an ad for their same day service and Arctic. My call was picked up immediately, and after a service charge, was told if he was on the road, the tech would call. Sure enough, he called to say he would be there in an hour, and he was. Mike D. was fair, courteous, and can repair the issue quickly (luckily just a blown capacitor in our condenser device ). I use them again and would certainly recommend them.
