Mr. Bamford called me back on a Sunday afternoon to give me 15 minutes of his time to walk me through a few tips on my issue. Most firms you can not actually reach them but he gave me his time and expertise. I appreciate his time.

Doug came out, evaluated the issue and quoted me a price of about $900 to fix. He said he'd send me a written estimate. I bugged him to send the estimate and when he did, it was to get over $2,000!!! I was appalled that the estimate doubled for no clear reason which I called a different plumber (George / Thomas Plumbing) who went outside and quoted me a price of $195 to replace a part. He managed to fix it on site and no problems. Could you imagine paying $2,000 for something which should be $195?!?!? Shameful! I really don't appreciate being taken advantage of by crooked businesses!

Totally in agreement. We are new to Baltimore and are remodeling an old home. This company was discovered by my husband here on Yelp. Doug kept us updated on when he would be available and introduced us Even though it was a weekend. He finally got on Sunday afternoon and worked until it was completed 4 hours after. It was a dreadful clog in an old bathroom in a home with previous generations of owners of DIY abilities that are suspicious. We found this company!

With generations of knowledge behind him, Doug knows the pipes and drains of decades gone by not just new construction's new pretty stuff. He is ready suggest courses of actions to explain the matter and also provide pricing. He does what he can to work with the existing and doesn't pressure new or high end things to pad his invoice.
So pleasant as a homeowner to have! Polite, professional, instantaneous.
We had been referred for our kitchen sink to him and he did such a great job we've called him. He also did the job within the quote given if some of the parts ended him up more, and was neat.

This is our time with Bamford Plumbing & Heating come repair something in our home, and we're thrilled yet ! The value of being able to work with someone like Doug who will explain the problem and the repair does an wonderful job in a time that is more than decent, and also to get a more than fair cost is exceptional. Doug Bamford was professional, thorough, and fair when working on a kitchen sink leak and outside bib restoration. He was readily available via telephone and text. As described, he finished his work. He also provided a thorough explanation - both written and verbally - to get all the work that has been done. He was totally reputable and great to work with. His pricing was reasonable and honest. I would highly HIGHLY recommend him that you will need for your residence. He would be our go for some function in Harford County

Doug is great. First you make the call... over the phone you tell him the problem. He gives a quick summary of what he believes is a rough estimate and the problem to you. You schedule a time. He is responsive and on time. On the job he is specialist and explains everything in great detail (even when it is clear a few of us know absolutely nothing about plumbing). He does and then you receive the bill and it's significantly less than his estimate that is rough because he was able to fix the problem. I have used him twice today and known him numerous times. I'm grateful because he will be our plumber for a very long time he's young-ish.
Our difficulty was a bathtub faucet. He was able to replace the ball combined readily (had the components available ) and solve the issue. That took a long time to refill the tank of it after flushing while here he also took a look at a toilet. Our line of sand residue cleaned and it works.

I caught these men yesterday they scheduled appointment for today between 4 and 1 pm came at 2:30 p.m. Had service completed and below 20 minutes great occupation.

A plumber I will trust. Reasonable rates. He is permanently in my cell phone for all my pipes issues.

I am so appreciative for this company. At the center of having tile flooring installed we lost all water. When you are on a well, that is a thing! I encouraged my father to call this business based solely on reviews. Doug worked so hard to get our water flowing and came out within twelve hours! He could have told my old dad that he needed a new well pump along with the fix necessary to find the water. He was honest, and got the work done for a great price. Men like this make customers for life, and my family is one of these for sure!

Doug provides support. I called him about a filthy drain and he had been THERE AT 11 PM THAT NIGHT! Really, I had been blown off and very impressed. His customer service is ideal, his pricing is very fair, and he is to. He really cares about what he does, and it shows. He tells you all about what he did and also makes suggestions to avoid future problems. I cannot recommend him enough, he's really fantastic.

Will is great. Hetalks you through the issue in order to ensure that you know the problem's cause, and personable. He's not able to make it, and When something comes up, he allow you to know beforehand and will call.

I am quite pleased with my choice. Doug was skillful, thorough - cleaned the workspace, in addition to going beyond the normal as in care.
Because of my schedule, I watch the clock so my only ( minor) concern was that the duration of the trip which had no bearing on the service price (quoted earlier).
After finding this plumber on Yelp, I left the call - figuring I'd keep on screening the five plumbers on my listing. Once Doug replied my viewing questions (and those specifically pertaining to my pipes problem ), and recognizing my pipes issue was not urgent, I willingly scheduled an appointment.
My kitchen pipes was in working order. I discovered this service surpassing my expectations. I will be calling Bamford Plumbing when future plumbing need arises.
Finding a relatively accessible affordable, and experienced plumber is a challenging endeavor. I screened a few plumbing professionals (large and small) on the telephone; Wasn't comfortable providing a pre-estimate deposit during scheduling.

He's honest and competent. He could have gouged us and did not do so. I now know who I will call.

Tried to call at 10 AM and no one picked up the phone. I went to leave a message but their mailbox was full. I would anticipate a builder with this many great testimonials wouldn't have this form of issue.I will utilize someone else.
