I've only good things to say about Beacon Mechanical. When we bought a home a year ago, I solicited recommendations to come offer a tuneup. Everyone I've interacted with has been nice and provided great support. The technicians have been educated and courteous. Although I haven't needed to utilize them in an emergency, I feel assured they would respond when desired and did sign up for a service contract. Fingers crossed I won't have to report on their solutions!

Used Beacon for your very first time. Hidden flow on a riser. They were tidy, fast, friendly and very fairly priced. Wouldn't hesitate a moment to use them or to recommend them.

As moving into the area I have used Beacon. The service is friendly and the receptionist on the phone are extremely helpful and friendly . I think the services supplied are worth the costs. Advocate and I will continue to use Beacon.

When he abandoned tech emptied my system with my washing machine drain and neglected to replace the washing machine drain hose. I did laundry and the washer. Beacon has done nothing to rectify the damage and has repeatedly ignored my emails. I thought they would do the ideal thing such as the service manager said they would although I must have placed a stop payment on my check.

They were able to install inside a week, after the loan was approved and it took them one day that is full to re-pipe the system.
However, I have to say that I can not be happier with the service of Beacon. We chose to find a new boiler, and Beacon gave us a competitive quote for the system we selected. However, not only was their cost great, they moved out of their way to help us secure financing via the Energize CT loan plan so that we could find a 0.99% 10 year mortgage on a new boiler. They worked together with all the step by step to ensure that the loan went through without any issues and that work could begin as soon as possible.
I had an issue where there was air in my lines after I paid for a boiler cleaning, when a person would not be sent outside to find out what happened and that I left only a 2 star review.
Overall, it was a very seamless experience and it's reassuring to know that if there's an issue following the install that they are dedicated to repairing it.
After it had been installed, we even had a hiccup with the system the day. It acted up a couple of times, once supplying another time when it should not have been sending any where it was providing too much heat no heat when it should have been. After I predicted, they had a tech prepared to return to the home the day. However, by the next day the issue had not occurred in 24 hours so that I called back to let them know that it might have been a fluke and to save themselves a trip. The tech came, and they said they wanted to send a person anyhow and replaced the detector in case.

Beacon Mechanical jumped again. I have used Beacon to service our home heating and heating and, today, Beacon replaced our near 20 year old a/c. Consistent with all our experiences with the company, Beacon's professionals were on time, supplied excellent workmanship, and did a terrific job with the installation. The one constant in the reviews was that the greatest barometer of reliability at whatever mfr chosen are the installer, after conducting research on central a/c manufacturers. I'm confident I picked. I provide Beacon the highest marks in all classes.

Our water heater moved down on a Sunday. I phoned Beacon Mechanical on Monday morning and they were here by 12:20 that afternoon, and it was fixed by 1:00. 2 was also provided by them follow up choices on account of the character of the problem. We were Impressed with the level of professionalism and responsiveness. Thank you! Our family appreciates it. . .cheers!

I had a dreadful time with a warranty company when I bought my residence. The staff at Beacon not directed us in what to request and came , as we went through a really stressful period with another company, but they supported us! Finally we"cashed out" of this warranty company following a month of waiting for support. Beacon was there the next day. They have quality merchandise, a quick response time, offer warranties (to not be taken for granted from other businesses ) and are really nice, helpful men and women who do quality work at reasonable prices.

Beacon has done numerous heating jobs and we have always been happy with their work. The quotes were fair and the work was completed in a timely way.
Beacon additionally installed radiant warmth in our new kitchen and againwe were quite happy with the work....now are feet are warm while we go in the kitchen!
When natural gas became available in Granby, Beacon did a wonderful job in removing two tanks / boiler and installed a super high- efficiency boiler....now we spend less and stay warmer.

So you can't go wrong dealing with their highly trained staff beacon Mechanical believes in Customer Service. I have the highest esteem for their Business model.

I had a flow with my oil furnace which had to be mended. The tech was extremely knowledgable and arrived. He explained the issue with my leak in plain language. The fix was fast and the price was very good. I never had a feeling that he was pushing components or repairs. No long winded service contract sales pitch either.

Fantastic support. Prompt too... Technicians take some opportunity to explain issues in a way that you fully understand.

Two times, two issues. First encounter was using a cac system. Tech came out shoot a working system. Told me that the unit was $ 2,500 and taken. +- to repair. Called another firm to get $120 and a 2nd opinion. The machine was functioning . My understanding is that their techs are paid commission on any sales they could make. A bonus for misdiagnosis. That or incompetence. Shame on me boiler repair. Tech came out to check non running boiler. Replaced some components and did a thorough check. I obtained a reprt everthing was functioning properly. The machine went down 7, two days. Tech came back out and this time I had been told it needed siginificant repairs??? It was chilly and I couldn't afford not to have the work done. Again components needed at cost. I don't have any doubt commission is paid on boiler components also. Be careful and find a second opinion. I don't have any assurance you'll find a"fair shake" from them.

If I could would give 1/2 star. Call with no heat and the guy on telephone could care less. Yawned in my head and showed zero interest. I advised him"never mind" and found that a true HVAC person not affiliated with petroleum co.. Good result with another person. Been for decades but its time to leave them with Beacon.
