After completing job.Again we recommend this company to your 14, area cleaned up
We only had another water heater installed at a different house from Ben Franklin. These men came thru to us. They shipped two Respectful technicians to do the job. They had been on time, worked very hard. Polite and professional.
Update: We had some plumbing work completed ASAP to complete a landscaping job. Cree from Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was on the telephone the day I called in my petition. (The woman who answered the telephone, whose name I hope I am recalling correctly as Cathy, remembered us from a previous call, and we all had a fantastic chat.) The next day cree delivered Angel and Mark. They were professional, polite, and friendly, explained what they were going to do certainly until they did it, and did the work quickly. As each one of the folks we've dealt with at Benjamin Franklin Plumbing happen to be for the 14 years we've worked together.
And if you would like to learn what always fantastic customer service feels, looks, and acts like, do business with them again. And again.
I hired BFP to get a bathroom repair. I know the components are not expensive, but did not need to spend time learning how to repair on my own. Cree was fantastic to work with.
Excellent service! My technician Joey took the time to completely diagnose a critical water heater problem and helped me reach manufacturer regarding warranty replacement components with ease. He assured I had a successful installation of the pieces and personally even helped preschedule set up. All went smoothly and enjoying hot water! I'd recommend Ben Franklin pipes and him to all.
What can I say,
JOE the plumber did a academy award winner of installing new gas water heater with all the and functioning good and got rid of the water hammering that moved and happened beyond expectations of other items needed to be replaced and would recommend them.
If you want to cover $2719 to get a water heater that is new rather than have questions then that is your company. We needed a new water heater while we were outside of town called this company in Novato and the individual handling them. After we saw that we were charged $2719 and returned, we were appalled, especially since we had paid for a different unit and firm that was distinct. I called the firm in Novato, was known to the technician who installed it who then referred me. Never happened. I had asked for a copy of the license and a breakdown of costs they said they obtained for our taxation. Nothing. If you don't would like to get ripped off as we were, do not ever use them.
Specifically, Craig did an superb job of minding the concrete paths where he had to cut (the first team that replaced the sewage drain, not so much). Plumbers are not really known for their concrete skills. If the project requires concrete patching, ask for Craig.
They are not the cheapest company around, but the work was done cleanly, on time and correctly. It seems like you get what you pay for.
Second time using this business on an older house. The first time, Cree was outside to replace a corroded/collapsed sewer line from the unit behind the main home. The second time, Dusty and Craig came out to replace the water service to the unit, a drain pipe beneath cold and the main home & warm water heater throughout the main house. I am familiar with the building trades and building codes generally and have been for most of my adult life in the building industry. I discovered Dusty Cree and Craig to become courteous, professional and educated. They wore booties whenever they arrived in the home and the work was fine looking.
Ben Franklin arrived at my house to help determine how to address a hot water flow beneath my own slab. They came on time for all schedules, everyone who came to my house was polite, while they explained me everything clearly, they wore booties, and they were reasonably priced. They showed my husband to attest it no more spun once the repair was completed. We're no longer hearing the flow and all"symptoms" of the flow have disappeared. We're thrilled and pleased with the service.
1 star because they fail to offer decent customer support with faithful customers even after they stated a reduction would be.given. Make certain it's written on paper that the reduction since they don't back anything verbal. Not trust worthy.
Nick in Benjamin Franklin came to my home because I thought that I had a water flow following the Town of Santa Rosa revealed my meter still running even though all water has been turned off. Nick responded to my call and was at my home over 90 minutes. He discovered that it was a result of a toilet. He suggested I have since it would be much less expensive my handyman repair it. He denied any payment was on his way and provides.
Honesty is not easy these days to come across and it was fine to see he didn't take advantage of a widow. If I ever have any type of plumbing problems in the future I will call Benjamin Franklin Plumbing!!!!
A couple of years back this company set up a new water heater once an leak was eventually sprung by the old one. The one began to make crackling/popping noises loudly enough to be noticed through of the home. The support technician, Don Pan, discovered several things to correct: the heater needed to be flushed, along with I needed an expansion tank. The October fire a few water lines had melted to homes behind me. Some really nasty had gotten from the system, which obstructed the water line into my property when those were substituted. This was found when cutting the pipes to put in the expansion unit, and explained the flow into the faucet that was nearest. Consequently, the water heater had this debris (plus standard scale) knocking around inside. He checked the water temps and pressure (which needed raising) in all of the faucets, showed me the way to drain the water heater and inspect the emergency release valve. So, thank you you were fantastic!
Edit: the person who came things but this proceeded it:I called again and this brand new plumber affirmed that the last one was installed improperly too. Bolts were used by him and bolted down the toilet. He said it would take 30 min but he took over an hour and I had company at my home when he ended. I said and he abandoned. I went to examine the toilet and it is crooked! This was and they still continue to fail and waste my time. Now I have siding and grout in different areas of the floor. Whenever they come they leave a mess of sticky goo for me to wash up.
This was with. I had the plumber and a toilet installed a handicap toilet in my bathroom before asking me. Without asking me either then he included a house protection plan. He was pushy for him to leave so I could speak to the supervisor, I waited and abrasive.
Luckily the manager sent another person out to install a toilet and was nice. But this man installed it wrong again. He used the bolts out of the toilet.
Not only have they wasted my money but not have wasted a ridiculous amount of my own time.
Don't conduct business
I had to replace a 50 gallon, gas water heaterin the garage with easy access, no complications. Quotation for parts and labor heater 3200. I expressed my dismay at the price and he dropped it 400. So they could make it look like they had been offering me a discount, Certainly the quotation was padded. I was able to get the hot water so I agreed working and the installation has been scheduled for the moment. Then I investigated online for water heater prices and found that the end to be approximately $1200 and that installation time would average about 3 hours. $1600 for 3 hours labor was way too much for my taste so I cancelled and called. About 5 minutes later I got a call and he offered to reduce the cost. When they are prepared to do it for $18, so why the original quotation of $3200?
By the way, BF quoted me 2 higher cost levels with 9 and 12 year warranties. This made it seem I would get a better heater but once I asked what the difference was that he confessed they are the same. Basically, they're selling warranties without telling the client that is what it is.
I've utilized BF Plumbing about 6 occasions. This is the time a charge seemed a little high and they took care of it right away. Best notch company. I will call them again.
Once I got the invoice the only hiccup on the deal was. . .it was a little more than I expected. For a total of 50 minutes and the job took less than 40 nick was in my home. So...a few days later I phoned BF Plumbing and spoke to a very considerate and sympathetic young woman who promised me that the Operations Manager, John Rossi, could phone me another day since he had been outside of town. Much to my surprise, I did get that call. We talked about the job and the invoice. He said that given the conditions. . .it sounds like I had been inadvertently over-charged. The invoice should have been less, since I had been reinstalling the toilets myself and removed. So. . .he followed up with a follow-up letter that was nice and issued me a partial refund.
I have been a member of their"Home Protection Club" for quite a few years. I am still a little fuzzy on what the benefits are. . .perhaps that's the reason they are so responsive to my calls for plumbing issues. I get and they're in a position to provide appointment times which don't tie me up all day to me.
Recently water started pouring from a canister light fixture on my first floor. I called BF Plumbing the next moment and closed off all the water . Because it was evident that many gallons of water were likely trapped at the ceiling, so BF advocated that we get the ceiling opened up to begin drying the affected region before mold starts to grow. They gave a variety of a remediation company that came out the same day to us. It was a large quantity of water in a brief time period. We found that the source of the leak was from under an upstairs toilet, also removed the sheetrock the next day. At first I thought..."Oh no problem, likely a wax ring, so I will replace that myself". So I removed the toilet and lo and behold, the difficulty wasn't the wax ring, but a broken toilet flange! I needed to telephone Benjamin Franklin. It was Saturday and they said everyone was reserved, but they might send someone. They called to inform me that one of their plumbers finished his final mend and was available if I wanted him. He noticed a few pairs of shoes without me saying something, and put on a pair of shoe covers his own work shoes. He took one look at the toilet flange/bolts and went to work cutting off the old flange in the 3 inch pipe under and attaching a new flange upstairs. He was quick, considerate, and clean. Eliminate it for me personally and he offered to take the old toilet. (I figured I would install a new 1.28 gal model while I was at it)
Enormous thank you to Benjamin Franklin plumbing who opened mended our hot water heater problem & a spot to a busy Friday afternoon. Thank you Nicholas Graham for friendly service that is efficient & your rescue.
Twice I have had to call a plumber because of a flood in my washroom. I never needed to call a plumber earlier in my entire life, however I do know I made a good choice when phoning Benjamin Franklin- I had two different techs, but both instances that the techs clued me in every step of the way concerning what they were doing and gave me their personal information on what's the best solution. Most recently, Nicholas Graham was that the technician and he did a superb and quality job (as later he arrived, we had another issue needing repair we had been notified of from the previous visit). I appreciated that he made time to do the work and that Nicholas known as his boss for assistance in the job within my own budget.
I lastly wished to remark I was helped nearly within the hour every time (although they left no time commitments over the phone), I simply trusted each time that they'd fit me in and they did- so thank you for this, and thank you for working within my means.
5 STARS! *****
2/26/2016 -- We had to use a plumber today for various problems and we called Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and we were lucky enough to get Skyler back also! He's fantastic -- great personality, very personable AND
He came to our house by 11 am and he was gone within 30 minutes, having repaired small difficulties we had! Skyler is amazing and we love to watch him coming since he's so friendly! If you do not possess a plumber of selection, we highly recommend BFP! Even is unusually considerate, it makes you wonder who coached these people! You wish that every company you encounter had such friendly, polite, and employees! Request Skyler, if you have the chance! He's super nice and knows his business!
This company is SO Was professional and very kind but the phone operators are supervisor my husband talked to was totally disrespectful! Because they never sent us an estimate three days after a person came to our home we called them. The first thing from the supervisor's mouth was"if you are just searching for a minimal price you are not going to get that out of us." To me that remark was unnecessary and unprofessional! Then he said they pride themselves. Really?? We had to call you after 3 days for our quote you were condescending, and you are phone operators are rude. . .really?? Good customer support...I DON'T THINK SO!!! I will NEVER call this company!
Had to have plumbing service that they sent that a young man named Nick to me. . From the minute he knocked on our door, the service was great..he fixed my problem, gave a estimate for additional work that needs to be carried out. .he abandoned every spotless and was very professional. . He gave me a discount for seniors. . I will always use this company and tell all my family and friends about the service... Thank you Nick.
We had a pilot light component that needed to be installed and they came out as promised with in the timeframe. Excellent customer service was provided by nick Graham and installed the part without any issues, checked the water pressure, sewage and other regions. Best of all, we have water !
