Our main sewer line backed up from the basement. We originally called Uptown Plumbing because we'd had them perform work in our house previously. . Someone spent 45 min attempting to fix the drain and arrived at our house. He said he was hitting something around 10ft out. They advocated repairing and excavating a portion of our sewer pipe for $6000 after using a camera. We decided we wanted a second opinion before making a choice that was pressured/rushed to devote that much cash.
The person who came from Cardinal Services was exceptional; had the camera and the snake and was able to fully clean 90ft of pipe into the front road in ~2.5 hours (we do not need the sewer repair/excavation work done). They obtained a customer for life as a result of their caliber of work!

I felt confident from the tech's skill and as he worked through the scenario, what he was telling me I had. The tech was personable and friendly. I would definitely call them again (and will every couple of years to clean any roots until they become a problem).
I hated having to phone Cardinal but was happy with the end result. Cardinal came highly recommend. They arrived with in an hour (they were sort of in the area). Tech analyzed the situation arrived, got his equipment and began to do the job. 2 hours later we were clear of debris and roots. A run of the camera displayed no damage to the pipes and we had been clear to the town line.
Woke up to our sewer line backing up at 7am. By noon Cardinal had Alex out to clean out the origins and, after two weeks of this auger doing its thing, had our lines completely cleared out. To be safe we had him operate the camera down the lines there weren't any breaks in the line and it came back clean.
Alex was and arrived a really nice guy. He appeared very knowledgeable and explained to me a great deal of what was happening. He repaired the problem and the experience was bearable as was possible with poo in your basement floor.
It might have been a good experience if it was not for the mistake of forgetting to check the extra drain. Unfortunately, they get knocked down due to that.
I had water in the basement and woke up the following morning. Turns out he forgot to test among those drains and it turned out to be plugged. I now have to replace carpet due to the hiccup.
I had an emergency backup in my main sewer line. I called they plus Cardinal have and then I was phoned by somebody from the area back within 15 minutes. For him to return to my home within the hour, we scheduled. He was because he was on a different job but it was clear.
