John Loos was wonderful! Came a half hour before he was supposed when we did't have heat. Checked and rechecked and took his time the device. Offered to return anytime through the night if the device return again.
Consistently happy with Cooper over the previous two years (electric, plumbing, and heating/cooling). John went beyond and above! Thank you!
Our sales rep William, together with our installers Reza and Gholam worked together to give a solution to cool our property. We've got an older home with lots of character, therefore it took a bit of creative thinking to figure out how to properly install central AC (other vendors have told us it was not doable). Through the process, William went over and beyond to make sure our needs were fulfilled. The installers showed up on time and were professional and courteous. These guys do what they say they're likely to do, which is not true for a lot of the other companies within this space. In my experience, their great reputation is well-earned.
We utilized Cooper Heating & Cooling to Install central air conditioning in our property through Costco. From our first estimate through the day of the setup (and even after), Cooper was fantastic to use. Their prices appear to be appropriate in line with the other estimates we obtained, however, the customer service was light years ahead of the other vendors we spoke with, which is why we ultimately went with Cooper.
Service Technician Santosh came out and discovered that the sea level pressure switch was bad and replaced it. Santosh was great. He clarified what he found the component moved bad and what needed to be carried out. I would have given for the furnace operating for only about three weeks before a component went bad and being set up only four months ago.
Look on your contract carefully if you employ this company. And check your work order contrary to the contract, or you won't get what you paid for. Steer clear of this company that has customer service and leaves it has clients on the hook and without heat. A few of their crews know what they are doing, such as the crew that set up my loft furnace and AC. Had another experience with the crew who installed AC and my cellar furnace. The furnace is not operational 3 days following the installation, and the company is in no hurry. Our family is freezing and turning to the oven for heat. The company has poor customer service, and does not have enough people to complete the job they began"since their teams are on other endeavors." I believe before going on to new ones, that they should complete their existing job. I've had to call 3 times to get them to schedule time to return and complete the furnace/AC install they've left incomplete! And every time I call, the company asks me what needs to be carried out! Really! Stated they put in notes that were comprehensive. This company was participated by me and believed that would be a promise. Not true! If you purchase from Cooper, you are buying a problem!
He went to work after listening into the cooling issues of my home, and knew exactly what the issue was. He spent doing diagnostics and studying to repair the issue. My home seemingly had setup issues, along with also the'zones' on the top level weren't programmed. And because we had the system on a low temperatures, we ran out of coolant. Allow me to point out my mistakes so the reader could understand and stop them too. I'd called several other companies who checked the system in the course of almost 3 decades out, even the person who had installed it. They don't know how to program different zones and they charge a charge to check the output and pressure from your home's vents. Cooper Cooling and Heating do this test when they supply a service call. Other companies charge anywhere from $150-180 for a service call plus $250 to check the vents. Cooper billed me $129.00 for a service call, including checking all the vents output. Shouldn't every ac company know how to do this, although programming the drains and including the coolant were extra? Particularly if they're Lenox pros? Please take my advice and call Cooper Heating and ac. They're the most professional, their employees the most experienced, and they're the most reliable. Even when my furnace shut down in the winter, they checked it out and guaranteed to return with no charge when it happened again (within a certain time period of course.)
They are also accessible 24 hours every day. At a heat wave of 100 degrees our lives were stored by them, and they can save yours too.
AC installed in May. Over 15 techs in 8-10 visits and we have no a brand new and AC born in the house. 0 communication from techs back and rarely follow up after being promised. We trusted them because they were through Costco but DO NOT EVEN CALL THEM FOR AN ESTIMATE. We are waiting to see if they will provide us a refund since they have a"Money back guarantee". Has to locate a company that is real maybe get AC to our new born and to fix this disaster.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I scheduled a preventative tune up 6 months ago. They cancelled it because of additional'emergency' service appts. Gave me a date and they stated that wasn't available, when I confirmed it. I re scheduled other housework to accommodate their program Nice to know they value expensive emergency services over maintenance and had scheduled. Please go everywhere
Furnace Warranties are only valid based on inspections which may be average but that information was not supplied to us - but its in the small print. If support is demanded of 129 bucks plus excursion charges.
The tech that did the work was very professional and supplied tips which should ensure the pump doesn't split after only a couple years.
We purchased humidifier a furnace, and AC from Cooper heating and heating. All appliances were installed by them . Policies are simply expensive and complicated although their technicians are fantastic. Their mark up on appliances are generally 200 percent - we only had to replace a 3 year old condensator pump since it was out of guarantee after only 2 years - it price nearly 350 bucks but once we searched online it could be purchased for 45 bucks from Home Depot
Furnace blower engine repair. Jason out of Cooper did an wonderful job. Quick and easy. Thanks!
This review is specifically for Chris (one of the sales reps). Of all of the businesses I obtained bids from, Chris was the 1 rep who was 100% fair through the procedure, never pushing . Even though he is on commission (shared with sales reps), he saw the limitations of our ductwork and recommended we downgrade the system I initially asked about because our ducts would not support it. So I cannot talk to the quality of the other reps, there are approximately 15 sales reps at this business but I would highly recommend anybody work!
I did join the Cooper Green team to be sure I got my annual service. I've been impressed by the techs I have interacted with.
Lately, the thermostat that has been 1.5 years old wouldn't link to my home WiFi. I reset routers, reconnected, etc. I phoned a telephone number that was sercice to be scheduled by Cooper. The dispatcher did say that there wa if it was warranty work, a $129 service fee that the technician would waive. Tech came, did his very own trouble shooting, said he had to replace that wasa covered by warrranty and the thermostat. If you all had a number of issues in a year, covered by guarantee, Remember, $129 each visit would still charge you. That is a business model that is lousy and I'll be canceling my Green group membership and will find another Lennox dealer that has a enterprise company model that is less.
The tech shows up a couple of days later so I can show him what is happening, and we get on the roof. He informs me this is the swamp cooler he's ever seen. That's correct, the tech they sent to repair my swamp cooler had never seen one. I mean I can not even start to state how absurd this is. Then if he agrees with me that some of the 1/4" aluminum pipe needs to be replaced he informs me that he did not bring any. I straight up told the woman on the phone that I would have to replace this and her tech did not even put any in his truck. So he had to drive back into the warehouse and find some.
After he got back and patched the pipe up the drain valve was leaking. He says well I guess you are currently gon na have to go down to Home Depot and find a replacement for that and repair it and looks at me. He did not even take a part that is $ 2 to finish the job and then advised me to correct it myself. What an absolute joke.
That occurred and I got it over. But then a year later almost to the date I start getting mails and calls stating that I owed them almost $300 and that the charge never went . You'd think that if a lot of people were calling about this issue you'd get a better answer than"Our system had problems". But that was asking too much of this provider. This is a prime example of a bigger company that doesn't care about the clients and only the almighty dollar of it. Do yourself a favor and little local shop. Most of them know how to deal with their clients.
This is one of the worst companies I've ever handled. I phoned them up to see if they fixed swamp coolers. I told the woman on the phone that I was probably going to want a part of this 1/4" aluminum tube replaced.
Did not show up as scheduled, told me there was a window of +- an hour and they'd be there at the end of the hour once I asked where they were.
They rescheduled for day, and we are actually helpful
Cancelled appt, can't anticipate what they say.
Wow I just got off the phone. Excited about their capacity to come out. She advised me that there was a 150 fee to come out with but she said that the technician could waive the fee, that I was ok or maybe not but it's up to the technician. I wanted to use their solutions but the fact that when I wanted to have it repaired there is the chance that cost me plus the cost to repair the hot water heater and the technician could opt not to honor the waver.
Serious harm was caused by a water leak in our furnace/water heater room to our furnace, last week. Cooper was among 3 bids I accepted along with the company we chose based on lots of variables, including promptness, experience, cost and advice. Following the cost of repair and safety, we chose to replace our furnace using a Lennox. It had been effectively installed by a courteous and professional team who clearly were specialists in their field. It's worth noting that the highest by the way, among those bids I took, told me that if they sent their own electrician it would include their quote and over $750. My reply....whaaattt???
I save my"yelping" for companies that actually impress me and such is true here.
We're very pleased we have found Cooper! Everyone from the sales team to the install team to the office has been nothing but open minded and a pleasure to use. You get the feeling they care and take pride in providing excellent service at a cost that is good. They will be our"visit" for all our heating, cooling and electric requirements from now on.
We have been using Cooper for year. They did a fantastic job. Their technicians were helpful and knowledgeable. We believed it was. Following a recent move, we called them to get a furnace cleaning and review, plus maybe installing a whole house humidifier. The tech they shipped this time kept trying to sell us more expensive things --a $3500 humidifier vs. $1000, a $500 air filter system vs. no system and only a plain filter. He kept telling us how the new/more expensive items were and how the same was used by him in his own home, even after he told me we couldn't afford the items. This is not the Cooper we used to know. We're very disappointed at the way Cooper is moving now. We'll think twice about calling them in the future.
We already have the smart thermostat configured with schedules and it is super simple to work with from our phones.
Cooper was outside yesterday to put in our HVAC system that comprises a power humidifier. The installation went smoothly; they were out and in in about 7 hours with all of the work done to end.
Everything was set up as we specified, including relocating the chimney back farther in the area, and placing the AC unit. The work was performed cleanly and professionally! Mohammed and jesse walked us through everything and made sure we understood what we had to know. Alex did a nice job and walked us through his work too. We were very happy with the installation.
Also, Kacie was exceptional as our"relaxation advisor" when we signed on, and made ideas that no other companies bothered with.
We had an air conditioner replaced by Cooper, with their Costco relationship. The process couldn't have gotten better. From the estimating process, that was of exactly what we needed, to the install, by Chris and Aireus a comprehensive 2 hour evaluation, it went well. At first glance Chris & Aireus were neat in appearance and very professional. They got right to work and so were really good and describing the process and answering any questions I had. It took about 5-6 hours if they were completed, the house was just as clean as if they got here. I strongly recommend Cooper.
Woke up to snow and cold, but no heat! The Green team acted a few hours later and quickly I am warm and comfy again!! Customer service and exceptionally professional. Shout out to Jason, thank you.
When I discovered that Cooper Heating & Cooling failed to apply for all the necessary permits and ended up doing unpermitted work that I begin to worry what details they neglected to provide attention. Last week, I delivered my concerns about lack of attention and I have yet to hear anything back.
