Dan Does Plumbing

I will use Dan's services .
So I needed to call my own plumber. Dan came on precisely the exact same dayhe allowed me know whenhe snaked itgot unclogged quickly, and the cost was fair, and he is quite professional and I'm very happy with his services.
My building is majorly mismanaged and wouldn't pay for snaking of pipes from the wall - although sink was clogged for days and days. It is Carolyn Unser board member and Karen Guerrero from Management Specialist Company that are currently refusing to service my unit.

STAY AWAY! I hired him perform a bathroom renovation and to change the valves out. The only thing out of this project that I can say that's fine are the valves. That's the 1 star.
The consequence of the bathroom renovation was horrible. He had a trainee that was the tile man to do most of the job. There was a day that Dan wasn't even there when this trainee set up the shower enclosure and pipes along with the fall ear piece. Then Dan went to the vacation leaving this tile man to do the tiling of bathroom flooring and shower partitions. The lines' outcomes weren't smooth and the caulking was a mess. Thinset peeked out everywhere and it was just grouted right over by him and there were areas of grout clean up and caulking was a wreck. Like he had been done, he packed up and leaving, so fortunately I had been there to point out it. The all else is a mess, although he did return the next day to wash the areas that are thinset.
He had been pointing fingers at everyone but himself. His workmanship is shown by the product. He blamed me for adding things and going behind his back. As a consumer/client, an individual will change their mind anytime and the company owner would provide estimates that are new. Dan saw the final product mention about cost might change. . He simply emailed me the invoice that evening so that he DOES A BUSINESS TO RUN! He didn't, although he could have easily communicated that he had to correct the estimate. He keeps saying that I have $1500. He apologize to the job that was dreadful and took ownership of this matter.
As for the shower tube, it wasn't anchored so now the pipes goes right and left along with the pipe was anchored facing a bit to the left . When I brought it up to Dan, he claimed it had been sound (which he didn't set up, the trainee did) but attributed somebody else could have done something for this. I had pictures which was demonstrated to 3 unique plumbers and even they said it had been anchored incorrectly so that's why it goes. It's overlooking a 2x4 to anchor the drop ear so that it does move right and left. Dan's band-aid fix was to caulk it and he said he would charge me if he had to spend an entire day to break the walls down and then fix it. As it wasn't even installed in the first location why would I pay for the fix!

His team and dan, Reggie and yet another guy came in and assisted fix a shower issue we had.
Highly recommended and I'll make certain to use theor service again if I actually need it.
Reggie walked through the work he was going to do and even because they were working. He even helped me regrout some of my tile beyond the bathroom because he noticed I needed to fix that and had a good deal of added.
In the end I was very happy with the work they did. They were very professional and worked fast and economically.
The following day he set us up with an appointment two weeks from Reggie and the call and got back to us after talking to his team showed on the scatter when Dan said he'd be there.
Dan was the first take a look to see the home and provide us.

Needed to replace a pressure reducing valve due to leaking in diaphragm joint and the set screw. "Dan Dies Plumbing" replied to my request within 15-30 minutes and also provided a very fair estimate. Set to another Tuesday. They were on time and also did an outstanding job. Had them return another day to replace a cartridge in my own shower. Reliable support.

Dan is so a good plumber and knowledgeable. Our drain cleared and it works terrific. Doing business with him was simple. He was. Although, I added images, all the other plumbers requested to find that the bathtub in person. His quote appeared reasonable and we chose to give a try to Dan. We couldn't be happier! Dan recognized my problem immediately, allowed me to help without getting in the way - and fixed the problem in no time. Appreciate your response, Dan!

At first, Dan was receptive and attentive to what I had been asking. But regrettably Dan was unable to help me and my customers with what we needed and seemed to be plumbing. I applaud his replies in a timely manner for any plumbing demands when they cannot actually execute in a timely manner, but I can not recommend this company.
-it is extremely unprofessional personally, If you look to me. As YELP encourages us to offer accurate and honest reviews. I do not feel that this is a Plumbing Company who will conduct the work needed in a manner that is timely. In case you have a complete scheduleyou should consider hiring more employees so you can accommodate? It's a reason for knocking a few stars off of a review in my honest opinion, and YELP is here to allow us to give our opinions with a service provider. It's not personal, it is just to let others know 1) you reply in a timely manner, AMAZING! 2) you've overly full of a schedule to do a few basic plumbing needs in a timely manner.

I've had an excellent experience with this company and will surely use them again! I had an issue with my toilet water climbing after flushing and it wouldn't flush. I immediately asked quotes concurrently to have it fixed. Dan wrote including others. Without doing I unfortunately went along with the one. I wanted it to get fixed and had been busy. Hawaii Drain Guru came in the conclusion of the afternoon (7pm), snaked it, replaced the toilet, said there wasn't any recourse (toys or objects) then proceeded to state our toilet was older and if we put in a new one the problem would have been fixed. Well, wouldn't that have been nice to know BEFORE they put the old one back ? I meanwe live near a home improvement store?! . That cost us around $300 and the next day - the exact same problem!! But I'll spare you the details in my review for Hawaii Drain Guru which I'll be doing. He makes time in his schedule to come over and offer a consultation to me, and I contact Dan, tell him my story and snaked my toilet. He recommended we change the toilet and considered that there likely was something stuck in it. A plumber arrived when we scheduled and finished a new tub spouttoilet, and a brand new kitchen faucet. The plumber was efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to use. And best of all, all those things we'd done FIXED and were affordable. We are so pleased with our experience with Dan Does Plumbing and his team. Talking to Dan is like talking to a normal person and not like carrying into a Used Car Salesmen, which it often feels like when talking to other companies, such as Hawaii Drain Guru (rip offs!) . This is a good illustration of why you should always Purchase Local rather than utilize these kinds of businesses which have big fancy vans (red flag!) . Those company tack on fees which were never mentioned before placing you in an embarrassing position. Dan was about the prices and I really love that there are still people with moral values.

It didn't seem like he was likely to come out into our home... better yet... he listened to my husband and told him the ideal thing to buy that can repair it. It saved us so much money and time.
I asked if he'd be able to come out and he asked where. I stated he and Ewa asked what the issue was. As I only helped my husband so I didn't know, I gave the phone. Because it needed to be left off or else we didn't have water for the past hour it was an insanely powerful flow into the garage.
Desired a very simple fix and my spouse was prepared to cover it because what he tried failed. We predicted on yelp and nobody near us. Occasionally those fantastic testimonials why don't you answer our telephone! At this point we needed anyone that was open past 5pm.
Found this organization and it stated closed at 6. Speech is at Wahiawa I didn't expect much because we live all of the way in Ewa and of course nobody wants to combat with the traffic. I tried anyhow. To our fortune, we got someone!
I felt as though he was not so money I'll come out how easy the job was. He gave the solution and listened. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to get your name thank you. Really! The plug is secured with the ideal goods and information!

He wasn't draining our sink properly and replaced our p-trap our preceding contractor had installed.
Dan's pricing is reasonable and inexpensive. He did a fantastic job and he's super pleasant. Dan would be highly recommended by me to anyone!
Highly recommend! I had a kitchen drain behind the wall and the job was not being done by our snake. I asked a quotation and found Dan's company and he reacted and I got an appointment straight away.

My floors installer last minute predicted dan to pick up. . .but install a new Toto toilet. (One days notice) He was super responsive, on time and worked quickly to pick up, deliverdrag it upstairs and install the new toilet. He was considerate, got the job gave me the instructions of not to utilize it for 24 hrs. Etc then explained how to use it then disappeared. Precisely what I enjoyed about this contractor. Quick, polite.

Dan is great! Timely response, cost and quick evaluation. He switched our water heater. Inform us what to expect and has been super helpful.

This review is really late but I needed to be sure to credit this man. Dans come out in Waianae, into our home, 3 times carrying out a total of 4 jobs. Twice he needed to correct work done by someone that was tricky without ripping our walls out, but he found a way. Hehas done excellent work, works and's always been punctual. He's easy to speak to and you get the sense that he really wants to help you. His rates are fair considering that the quality of work he is worth every cent paid and delivers. His billing system makes it effortless to pay with several different payment options too. Im calling him requirements in the future!

Dan did a great job with replacing a old shower head which was not even putting out water from not being properly used and two 15 + year old bathrooms. He and his helper hauled away the bathrooms after which was extremely helpful because I don't own a truck. He did not charge extra for the simple fact that he needed to drive to a lot of places hoping to find a part that he had to fix the water pressure in the shower and arrived on time. Very responsive via yelp, which is hard to find to respond. He accepts credit card. Very fair prices. I'd certainly contact him again for any future plumbing issues (hopefully won't need to though).

Dan installed a hybrid heater for us following the tank heater started leaking. He and his guys were on time (early actually), worked fast and economically, and so were really neat. The tank and aluminum fittings look and work great, and I am glad that we went together with his recommendation of an AO Smith over the Rheem I planned on becoming. Even if we ran following the heater install, with a fixture escape upstairs that acted up, Dan came back to help with getting that resolved.

Amazing plumber!! We discovered our plumber! Hands down will go to this company. Friendly, importantly, very professional and above all wont charge you. Price matters. They did the job in a fraction of the amount of large companies and did it faster and better then to. If you want all around prices that are reasonable and services hes your man!

Dan mended my toilets, and they now work like new again! My wife's reaction: Wonderful!
Dan responded quickly to my request for a quote through the Yelp app, and arrived at my house on time. He showed me how to perform the repair myself so I do not"have to pay a plumber next time."

True to his word I couldn't find another company able to conquer on his prices. While using guests and a full house, I had to substitute a bathroom. The plumber arrived on time, got the work done quickly and correctly, and hauled off the bathroom all for a low price. I managed to pay the invoice online. Excellent customer services.
