PS, don't mind all of the clutter around the house in the"after" photo.
My house looks amazing, although It was long overdue! David and his brother worked long to complete the work so I could move back as quickly as possible. They totally transformed my living room. They tore out a wall and rerouted switches and a gas line, mended my subfloor and added beautiful baseboards and door casings. David fixed the window without me asking to have it match the completed door casings casing. I am in love. Thank you!

After everything ripped out, we discovered that the damage was not too bad as feared, and fixable. The installation of our old tubwas the cause. He replaced the damaged region of the plywood subfloor, also took steps to ensure that water wouldn't be able to travel up or down through the subfloor. In addition, he used products that made a moisture barrier around the walls and flooring of the brand new shower enclosure. I really appreciate his focus on the part of this endeavor, the part that you don't see, but is critical to the success of a toilet.
We got the master bath remodel we desired --but sooner than we believed. We had some water damage that is slow, and were worried it was much, since we saw signs of it on the floor and the shower walls. We spoke with a few contractors, but Dave's calmdown to earth manner, and his knowledge told us that he had been the one that was perfect. His quoted price was fair as well, and the project stayed within that funding.
He's got a great sense of humor, which can be a plus if you're working through something as invasive as a bathroom remodel. We ended up using a master bath that is a real showpiece. I will happily recommend David Wilson Construction to anyone who needs work.
He then produced a bathroom When the construction was rebuilt. Created a brand new shower enclosure, using a bench seat and wall market (for soap, shampoo, etc.). Moved the drain to the center. Installed two types of tile on the walls, and a third one on the floor. Installed all hardware. Redid the whole bathroom floor tile. Installed a new toilet, using a bidet seat (hey, we chose to go a bit upscale). Installed a brand new toilet fan (we wanted to eliminate steamy mirrors and safeguard our investment). The standout component of this was his focus on detail, and fit and finish. Completely contemporary and professional.
Dave worked nicely with the Sacramento County inspector to make sure everything is up to code--although Dave's work already is up to code. He did not need to be told exactly what to do. He also recommended a glass business that was great to put in the glass door enclosure for us, and also a great source for tile, Floor And Decor.

We'd definitely hire David again and would recommend him! We have a listing of projects that we want him to operate on.
We met David if we had been soliciting bids for the renovation of our master bath. The photos we saw of his 5-star score and his job discovered David on Yelp and impressed us. He definitely lived up to his reputation! Here are Things You should know about David:
Sorry to David for taking this long!
4. He is respectful and cognizant of client concerns. Our daughter was born just prior to the renovation was launched and we had been worried about asbestos, lead, and building dust in the house. David worked with our abatement team to make sure our house was for when we all moved back in, safe.
1. He is easy to get in contact with and a great communicator. He responds to telephone calls and texts; we had no trouble setting meetings with him and that he was always on time.
2. His rates are fair and transparent. He supplies an easy-to-follow cost breakdown and obligations are made in installments (so whenever he completes among those things on the listing is if payment is expected ). He educated us about rules for dealing with contractors in general which were helpful to us as building newbies!
5. He (along with his brother, Keith, another half of his team ) worked weekends and nights to make sure the job was completed in time, enabling us to move back in! It's difficult to be with a newborn away from home and we are so grateful to David!
3. He provided helpful recommendations about many of the construction choices (materials, brands, layout, etc.) but never pushed us into one definite direction.
6. The final product was beautiful (photos below)! Perhaps the most important point is that he takes pride in his job and is a real craftsman. We are so pleased with our new master bath!

Words cannot start to describe how his brother Keith and lovely Dave are. Our nerves have entirely calmed in a bathroom remodel. Talk about large caliber people! I'll forever recommend David to anyone that wants work done on their dwelling. One happy customer has been created by him. These guys know what they're doing!

Following a experience a year ago, I had been quite hesitant to complete my bathrooms. The notion of yet another stranger in my home, and the stress of time and costs had me nervous. I met with three builders for bids, and David was my choice. He was kind professional, knowledgeable, within my budget, and put my head at ease immediately. His work was impeccable, he had been on schedule, and we just wrapped up....both bathrooms are beautiful!!! I'm so glad I do it. I would recommend David and that I will use him for future endeavors!

David came out quick after he was approached by my husband about putting in a doggy door in our walls. The wall broke through the stucco and had damage in the palm tree. This was a job for David, but he was very professional and he did a fantastic job. He completed the job. We highly recommend him for any job you might need!

This was a learning experience for us since we had a range of choices to make. However, David was always there with expert advice every step of the project. We essentially got.
One of the first things he did was crawl under the house to find a total grasp of the job, when David came. This impressed me mightily. His was the very detailed and certainly the best overall pricing. Deciding to go with David was not a hard choice to make.
David took it down to studs and floor joists and constructed us an amazing bathroom. We couldn't be more happy. The old toilet has been an embarrassment but now it's an area that brings nothing but compliments (and envy). I can only envision. David is a master builder. He is incredibly knowledgeable in all facets of construction. I can not recommend him highly enough.
We lived at our house and eventually decided we could no longer live with our toilet. It was a wreck, although I won't go into all of the reasons. The house was constructed in 1925 with 1 bathroom so we needed to get it right.
We contacted five contractors to bid for your occupation. Two would speak about the telephone, and one firm an'estimator' who could not answer any of our fundamental questions.

Everything you read here about David is absolutely correct. He remodeled a toilet that had light damage and leaks and we feared would pose lots of problems and expenditure. He did nearly all the work, and gave us a estimate that was very clear , well within our budget . He completed the job in a timely fashion and communicated with us throughout. Best of all, he did work, and we were thrilled with the results. We felt blessed to have him work on our house.

David Wilson did a fantastic job craftsman job renovating our master bath. We didn't need to gut the whole master bathroom the shower as a result of his expertise, fair priced.

David was our choice for remodeling two baths. His bid was what he remained with and fair. We changed our strategy somewhat and he adjusted the bid suitably (it went down). His work was timely. He was a gentleman while he was clean and worked. We highly recommend David for the bathroom remodel.

We've been dealing with Home Depot and Lowes with our home improvement jobs, and got tired of the run across and workmanship. Got on Yelp and discovered Dave, and could not be happier with the work that he did for us. He put in our hall and bath, and it came out amazing! Do not wait to get him back to do our other tub.

Remodeled our master and outstanding job. Couldn't be happier. Very professional, well done job. No corners cut.

David is awesome! Not only did he come out and give me a bid quickly, but he worked on the cost so I could find the project done. Even though it was a rather modest project (essentially tiling a corner shower stall), he treated it very importantly. He did a beautiful job, made some great suggestions for tiling, and has been done over the timeframe he explained (if not earlier).
I appreciated that David treated me - I asked plenty of questions and he was not condescending whatsoever. 1.5 hours were spent by him with me giving a rush to me! When I am being dismissed by someone I can tell personally, and David certainly didn't.
I'll use David for future endeavors, and highly recommend him.

We're very satisfied with the time and work David put into our kitchen. He did a great job rebuilding floors and our cabinets . We'll hire this contractor for our projects.

He's experienced, knowledgeable and honest. I plan on using him for all my future remodel projects and construction needs.
He's a licensed general contractor and has fixed plumbing difficulties indoor and outdoor gas lines, along with a brand new stove top and that he took down an old chandelier and put up a Restoration Hardware lighting in the place of it.
David has done several jobs for my house, my wife and a bit more complicated and some smaller and I were outside satisfied with each of the work he has done.

We bought a house with a DIY bathroom. David not only did a fantastic job remodeling , however he was also helpful in providing suggestions to remedy existing issues with the toilet and in guiding us during the choice of materials. He has a fantastic eye for colour & design. We stayed in budget and the job was completed in a timely manner. David was considerate, respectful, and very easy to work with. He is highly recommended by us and won't hesitate to seek his assistance. Thank you David!!!

It was an absolute pleasure working with David Wilson. We knew we wanted a major remodel of our master bath that was dated, but didn't have a crystal clear idea of the project. Contractors were not interested and spent amounts of time. David worked to think of a realistic and functional layout that we were very delighted with. He rearranged the plumbing and electric systems, custom built a marble shower, installed frameless glassinstalled a vanity and toilet, and enlarged our master closet to size. It had been such an enjoyable experience dealing with David once he was finished with the remodel, we had him take care of several problems throughout the home. We are completely impressed with the quality of the work - ! We'd never hesitate to phone him again for future projects.

Dave was on time. He did a terrific job of installing grab bars. I asked him about the following plumbing problem we had and he took the opportunity to spell out how I could repair it myself for less than $30. He might have charged me $150 to fix it and I'd have had him do it. Dave is an honest contractor and we will certainly use him again in the future.
