We just moved to our house 3 weeks back from PA.. The former homeowner had provided us. Sat we discovered a small leak. Their tech came out on Mon, recognized a leak at the slab and lent $1500 to fix (not including the drywall, baseboard and tile fix needed afterward as he had to jack hammer our floor) where the guarantee company would pay $1000 total. He returned on Fri and declared after 3 hours he would not move because he kept creating more leaks, he was maintaining the $1000 (we could decide whether to pay another $500)he couldn't give us an exact quote but it could be under $6000 to re-plumb, and he couldn't tell us if he would be back because he did not have the job. After arguing with AHS and his organization it was apparent we were out $1000 and on our 1000 miles from home. When we turned the water on, it was now filling the pit he created in 5 seconds so we couldn't turn the water on for showers, etc.. We started calling pipes and from what it seemed likewe were going to need a resort because we'd be for about another week. Our son could be starting at his new college from a resort on Mon.. That is when we discovered the reviews for Drain Genie. Within 20 minutes, we were on the phone with the proprietor John. He requested my husband certain questions regarding the pipes in our house and gave us a quote immediately. He was able to get his team out first thing. Aaron and john came out to confirm the job and adjusted the quote up a little, as we did not realize faucet and the shower in our bathtub were lines so our error however it was completely understandable. As the quote was only marginally more than half of still less than a quick guess another plumber and the guarantee firm's technician's quote had awarded us on the phone, we were thrilled. His team was outstanding, and they did an superb job. They cleaned up everything, and John and Aaron came by after they left to ensure we were pleased with their job.
