More Water Main Services We Offer: Upgrade water main from direct to copper. Corrosion of a older pipe that led to the pipe to break or collapse. A"Bellied" pipe in which a section of the pipe has sunk because of soil or ground conditions, creating a lot spot in the line where waste and paper accumulate and cause repeated blockages. In which the seals between sections of pipe have broken, leaking joints, allowing water and sewage to escape. Empire is very knowledgeable on each of the sewer rules and regulations as well as on the process with DOB, DEP and DOT. We will provide service for both residential and commercial clientele and have knowledge of SD-2 & SD-1. We Offer: Change from clay to cast iron piping.

Diana and I talked on the phone to find a quote on a water main repair. She sent out a crew on Monday ASAP and gave us a quotation. I shopped around but ended up moving with Empire since they gave me choices and were punctual on fixing the issue. Tony and his crew showed up on a weekend. We found the flow immediately. Dug down 3 ft and performed a place fix. I was very impressed with his coordination after spending an whole day with Tony. He delegated the tasks that were right and has been experienced with this line of work. He went above and beyond.
Company's reps I had seen earlier Empire were put offish and it seemed as if they didn't want my company, so guess what, I didn't wish to give my money to them. I rather give my money to those who treat me right and give me the time to ask questions (even if they may be"dumb" questions).
After calling 6 or 5 firms (and only hearing back in 3 of them) I decided to go with Empire because they were the most attentive to my needs and the price seemed right. They gave me a quote that is verbal and were able to come out immediately, that a professional written quotation through email followed closely. They were able to start the job two days after I finished the job in only one day and signed up the proposal. Talk about honest, I really don't know who would pass down their economies to the client, so that I believe Frank is a really fair man.

Tony was meticulous and quite proficient about finding what I thought was an easy back up and the plumber just left. He snaked, before he discovered the problem that he identified later working to the pipes, then powered washed the pipes. He kept me informed the entire time about processes and costs. It was nice not to be pressured into performing more than that I wanted to have done. The experienced explained the costs and started when I called the night before and the answering service was very professional. They stated they'd be here between 8 and 9 and came at 8:30. I highly recommend and will use again. Given if I decide to have more work 15, along with a quotation was given.
