Erling Rohde Plumbing

I would definitely call Erling Rohde Plumbing again if I want plumbing work done.
Fair cost, good work.
Now I phoned Erling Rohde Plumbing to fix a leak. The response was fast, the fix was fast, and the cost was quite reasonable. Manuel the plumber has been fantastic.

The office is helpful and so friendly - it's refreshing to speak with somebody who's knowledgeable and pleasant. The support is on stage and I highly recommend them. Thank you!!!

These men saved the day! My husband tried to fix a plumbing issue but was unsuccessful. In fact, he sort of made it worse.... But Mike & Juan mended discretely and for $80!!! & everything quickly Nice! I had houseguests en route with a drain and was pregnant. They're fast and very reliable for a problem that is very simple.

Erling Rohde Plumbing was performing the plumbing in our home as before we moved , and also for us for more than 50 decades, as owners. We found Grandfather Rohde's signature from some time in the early 1920's.
Homes are really understood by them, and have kept things up all these years and running. Reliable, competent, and friendly, and we highly recommend them. We're confident that their prices are fair, and their workmanship is excellent.

The serviceman was friendly, professional and FAST... and the best part... He left the place cleaner than when he came! LOL.

I called into Erling Rodhe because we had a few toilets along with a bathtub faucet. We have an appointment scheduled away- same day, and ALL our fixes were performed in record time! In and out! They certainly know their stuff... and I figure that they need to later being in business since 1910! :-)
They surely know what they are doing!
It's so nice to have a"go-to" plumber now- I'll use them from now on and I highly recommend their services.
PS: Oh- The price was right also! I called around to a number of areas and they were about the same as everybody else- and less than a few.

My experience with this company was terrible. The man they sent over wanted to charge and didn't fix anything. He wanted to charge a hour and a half and was there for one hour. He did was hoa to stop rest and the water for the remainder of the time. We ended up paying over bucks for nothing.

Erling Rohde Plumbing is a joke. As for 106 years in business I am certain that the original founders wouldn't be proud of their owners that are current business practices. There are. Look that they had been founded in 1858 and they caused the recession of 2008, and it was due to the business practices that are horrible. They got what they deserved because of the deceptive business practices now they are not in existence now.
They did not offer anything in writing when it was asked nor was the 3 choices ever discussed. This guy responded to my 1st review and the only thing was the cost. The guy that showed up to do the work not gave any choices. I matched all products which were replaced by their employee for me to test, as the parts were asked to be abandoned. I guess this really upset the guy who did the work as he needed to be requested multiple times to depart the parts. I discovered them available at the Home Depot along with the total price would have been under $50.00, not 168.00. Now will he speak about 3 choices 2 never existed prior to the work being done. Had I had been here I certainly wouldn't have allowed this company to rip a girl off like they did.
I can only expect that this company can find its integrity and values or else they go the way of Lehman Brothers.

Her home was built in the 40's and SDG&E decided that the gas line into the home had to be repaired rerouted to the criteria of city code. The men at Erling Rohde Plumbing knew exactly what the city required. The plumbers obtained the essential city license and organized for the inspection with the city SDG&E can turn back the gas on to the home as soon as possible. On account of the understanding, pipes skills and proficiency of the men at Erling Rohde Plumbing, their work on the gas line and the city code inspection passed.
I would recommend Erling Rohde Plumbing due to all of the work they have done at my home for over 20 plus years. They have done lots of jobs at my home, everything from repairing a leak because of a broken pipe damaged by a large tree root, installing a clean out and repairing faucet leaks to jobs like fixing a line leak.
Because Erling Rohde Plumbing has been trustworthy and honest working at my property, my Mother has utilized their services. My Mom hired because SDG&E decided a gas leak was that needed repairs Erling Rohde to function at her house. SDG&E turned off the gas before repairs were completed by Erling Rohde Plumbing.

Experts:
Scheduling Accuracy - was advised by company to anticipate a worker to get there at 1pm that day. He showed up over 1 hour sooner than anticipated, before noon. This could have been problematic if my tenant wasn't home or was occupied.
In conclusion, if you don't mind paying a bit more for a fix then it can be worth hiring this company as they are fast and easy to work with. Personally, I expected a bill for a easy job. Scheduling price and accuracy are important to me as I constantly need to organize with my renter to find anything.
Cons:
Fast - Able to get somebody come out the same day (within 2 hours) and quickly resolve the issue.
Painless - Really responsive and no problems with the total experience.
I recently hired this company to unclog a toilet in a house I rent out. I hired them b/c they are a neighborhood owned company. This was my encounter with them.
Expensive - billed almost $100 to get them operate a toilet auger (essentially a snake) down the toilet to unclog it. The breakdown of the cost was 5 $ for the auger and $88 for labor. The entire job from begin to finish took about 5 minuets. I anticipated it to be expensive, especially since my house is located less than 3 miles away from their business.

I hate to give a negative review of anybody -but my experience was simply awful. It took over 7 hours of labor, 3 trips to my house and a week to fix a leaky bathtub. Never again!!!
