We bought our pool thinking they'd be there for us when a repair need arose, but they were not interested in servicing us, and wished to charge a service all fee, even when. We bought our pool through a longtime local business thinking they'd be there for us when a repair need arose, but sadlythey were not interested in servicing usand wished to charge a service all fee, even when we're still under warranty. They recommended Hawkins is called by us and have them come out instead. We did, and our cell that is poor was replaced by them away. They were determined to have us fixed before the weekend. Our technician James was very thorough and explained everything for my husband as he then replaced our pool pump and diagnosed. We will be clients for as long as we own a pool! I'll gladly refer any of my buddies.

When using this business, the only things I will say as information.
2.) When it is not a flat fee occupation then they bill by the hour and round up... so, if you are slightly into a partial hour then you might want to ask them if they're going to bill for the full hour... If they are then you might want some other work available for them to optimize your work for the buck ratio.

Upon coming into our house, he didn't ring and let us know he'd arrived he moved into the side of the pool gear moved things. Then came to the doorway and with a I'm much better than you attitude. He started by saying that we had rain gutters, then move other things and the heater when we walked around to the gear. After pointing out that his company had completed the instal, he stated that was not his problem.
We called to get a quotation to hook up our gas pool heater. We had to make a few calls before we were able to speak to a person. When we got the person. He was rude, short and interrupted myself and my spouse.
They were another part of the business. He then went and stated that permits necessary to be pulled. In the end he finished with a push to schedule the job, not a quote like he was supposed to perform. After I got his quote when I explained I'd call and schedule that is possible.
I talked to a neighbor who had exactly the setup who stated they didn't get this treatment. Seeing as West Bay homes utilizes them . I'd suggest using somebody other. We have talked to the West Bay office about that and they Thanked us for letting them know. We have looked into using another gas company.
I had done my home work and understood that NO PERMITS were demanded, along with other things, and gutters he stated we needed and they might do the gear was designed to be out in the weather. .The conduct was.

Had two men from the company come to my house now. A easy fix for pool gear was a two hour task. Those men were determined to look after my issue. While I state above and beyond, these men surpassed that. Kudos to Jason Samples and Joe Goff. If you utilize Hawkins and have pool issues , then ask those men. You can't fail. They will be the only ones who will work on my gear. If one isn't available While I utilize Hawkins again, I will put off the repair until they are.

I initially hired Hawkins to install the gas line to get our brand new pool heater due to recommendation from Teco. I don't have any complaints from the job that is original. Tommy / Carlos and managed the small issues that came up quickly and professionally and crew were great to use. We passed the heater and all inspections is functioning and up.
However, months after I contacted them again due to an issue with my A/C (gasoline ) furnace not light. I had been not and informed that they just work on the plumbing the appliances / equipment. A bit disappointing since advice on their site appears to indicate differently. I am going to have to start over to receive a separate business trust it's not associated with plumbing / previous work and to work on my A/C. It's still not clear what will not manage.

Two days before ThxGiv, we have a massive issue with our petrol lines. Is Tommy Yates! Stayed till midnight did directly by our family!

Hawkins is service provider and a really educated pool equipment installer. They are the secret sub-contractor that Tampa Bay area pool contractors utilize to make it seem as they're those installing or servicing equipment.
They support major brands of pool equipment and take, and their service staff are experts at diagnosing problems. I had an electronics fail in my own pool management system, along with my system is quite complex with controller input coming from wired, wireless and home automation integration methods. Things ceased functioning, and rather than one contractor pointing the finger in another, they properly diagnosed the matter, warranty replaced the part, and spent no more than 30 minutes of time. It had been effortless on my part, due to it being warranty work price nothing, and wasted very little time.
I had a pool given a specific brand of gear and installed as part of new structure. The pool contractor said no problem, and was really installed. Come to find out, Hawkins did the job on their behalf.

Spoke into Tommy multiple times. Forgot consultation. Sure things occurs. Again called said before 11am. Now wishes to come at 1145am. No respect for people's time or schedule. Get prepared to sit at home all day and hope they appear, basically if you want to do business with these people today. I urge go someplace else where they admire the fact.

Watched a guy a Hawkins Service van conduct a red lightcut off two automobiles, and then tailgate a sedan and onto 275. I can't comment on their support calls, but if those are the sort of employees they use, and the way that the employees respect others, I won't ever be calling Hawkins. Really appalled at what I saw!

I explained my requirements called to make an appointment and was told I would receive a call to program my job. I waited three days and didn't receive a call so I called them. Spoke wth a rude woman that acted as if I was the one that blew them off. She tells me I am scheduled for a day without even asking me when the day was OK, it wasn't, and gave me attitude for needing. After some back and forth, I get. Day my window, of the project comes and goes, I give them an extra 15 minutes before I predict. Wow, the attitude I obtained this time was unreal! Because I have things to do, after being told the guy would be an hour I cancelled my appointment. They offered no apology. They do not appear to care about your time or money as the tech was completed on the previous job 15 minutes after my window passed, let alone on his own way. This might have been prevented with a simple phone call by them, but I guess its too much to ask them to care about their clients time. Good luck if you hire this company.

I had a great experience with Hawkins on a previous job. They have been friendly, prompt and did the work nicely. Not so much this time. Did ownership change?

Worse service of any company in my experience. Called to get pool heat pump. Called twice and was advised they would program and return to me. One week after I called to see when it'd scheduled. In five days it could be scheduled. Called back to see when the repair guy would arrive. I must have misunderstood because they just went to program the work now not do the work. Fourteen days to schedule another 2 weeks and the work before they'd do the work! Bottom line to schedulethe work and still did not reveal. Two days after in reality they were suppose to come they gave the repair guy to a time window and called would arrive. Ridiculous. Found another company that sent someone the day and had the work.

I adding lighting in addition to had the redone on my dock. They were moderately priced and did an outstanding job. I'm quite delighted with the work, and on a side note, this company's owner is helpful and filled with integrity. As soon as necessary, I strongly recommend them , and would happily use them again.
