I hired them to put in an additional return air duct . The rest of the home was not consistently warmer than the room. Christian arrived. And yes, I think he is a Superstar. He showed me exactly what he would do. Did the job, Cleaned up and was out in a Few hours. Recommendation of adding yield duct by Tech Tory was a solution. Earlier this week, tory reacted to an emergency call to get a clogged A/C drain. Water was everywhere. He unclogged the drain and arrived. Cleaned up water. He made sure that the system worked . Very knowledgeable.

I hired them to install/replace all my ductwork. They sent out a superstar. He remained till 7:15 to finish the job. Very considerate and very Highly recommend you ask him to get an installer! Thanks Heatwave! Darrell
No one returned my calls. They even blocked me once I tried to reach out.
We had water flow in the loft, so Shawn came to give us an estimate on 9/4/19. He told my father and I, that we need a brand new device and ductwork, for around 10k. He was a salesman having an attitude, made us feel somewhat uneasy. He reassured my 92 yr. Old elderly father, who's the homeowner, that even if we only get ductwork, it will surely stop the escape. He pressured us that we had to decide at the moment, so as to get, although we wanted to think about it. We agreed to replace the ducts..they were very old anyhow. He then tells us that the total is trigger of tax $ 5,606 and maintenance fee.
On 9/17/19 I had a third firm come and tell their view to me, and they couldn't believe their eyes. Also on this day, Heatwave responded and offered to have their head installer come see what's happening next week. I refused to let this fraudulent company come back. They were not trusted by me. Other businesses told me, that the whole thing has to be ripped out and redone. On 9/23, the company took 5 hrs, and 3 men to install things correctly. They documented everything they discovered and did..and there are pics and movies.
He had stated our unit was becoming old and was a 2009. I confirmed with two businesses, that it had been a 2013 and works fine. Glad we didn't agree to replace it. He told us that we had a freon leak, and was showing us pics that he took. We verified that there was not one. He explained the ducts are going to have 10-yr guarantee. I later find out from his boss Juan, that I had been told wrong, it's only a 5-yr warranty..but he still granted me that the 10.
I get an email from heatwave on 9/23. . ( no mind manager ever calls me regarding this even after requesting repeatadly) they just write:"Ma'am, we told you several times that the job was not complete, and you wouldn't let us finish it. I do not know what else to tell you." This is totally FALSE. I was NEVER told by them that the job was not finished. After 7 hours, their installers said they were done. Nobody has explained that they were not done with installation, so they came back to finish it. I'm reporting them and taking them. A Great Deal of proof here
The next day 9/5/19, they came to install. To outside dissapointment, that the flow continued. They sent an installer back out to try to stop the leak. They wanted to charge us an extra $ 400, although he made a proposal of what would stop it. I afterwards declined that idea, wanted to get a 2nd opinion. Why should I need to pay money if they'd promised the leak would be stopped by the ductwork?
A few days after installation, we suddenly didn't have air. At this point I wanted a 2nd opinion. The 2nd company explained that this was a result of bad, incomplete installation. So that I could have any chilly air, on 9/10/19, this 2nd firm, for $450, did some fixes. They discovered the supply plenum not connected to the air handler..it came apart. Ductwork was not strapped, duct links were not secured, etc.. They told us that the job was only partly finished and done incorrect and badly. They even left old ductwork inside lying there. I found out that they didn't pull a license. It was too late, although I was so upset to hear that, therefore we tried to stop check payment with the bank. I got a live employee on the telephone that was not the answering service. The ductwork isn't installed properly. She said I shall make certain Courtney gets back to you within the hour.
Heatwave was called by us following AC problems lately, they explained everything and were really professional, came out and figured out what was wrong. We have had other AC companies in the try and sell us things we did not need, Heatwave are not that way in any way, reliable and quite honest business. The head man Dan knows his stuff and we wont deal with anybody else.

Heatwave did a fantastic job they gave my price for replacing a compressor while so I did not loose the purchase, my home was under a contract and serviced it.
Simply giving them 1-Star for their politeness. Due to going smell they sent their Quality Air Tech. Mold had returned to my'mill'. He asked how much I needed to spend on repairs, dumb he was informed by me. He charged me almost all of my savings. He cleaned my and blower duct that was limited in my condo. Since smell came back, I followed up with a different contractor. With this visit of contractor that was fresh I asked him to remove my Air-Purifier $800 was paid by me . I moved up to discover my Air Purifier had been removed by Heatwave plus a UV Light positioned below the'mill'. I wrote owner of Heatwave concerning either this purifier's place or that his Tech removed and took my equipment. I've not ever heard any reaction. My neighbor also used them to clean his ducts and upset with myself that he got ripped-off. I'll NEVER'urge' Heatwave to anyone anymore. I don't have any confidence in the honesty of this provider. I do have receipts from my Air Purifier that's missing from my ac-unit.
