HTO Plumbing & Radiant

I was introduced through a friend and neighbor to TJ, also hired TJ to set up a new boiler for us. He put into a state of the art system for us in June of'19. The outcomes of his work, his professionalism, and his understanding of boilers and boiler systems is way beyond some of the other people I talked to. He knows much more than just installing boilers - he knows how to design the system in ways which will persist for a very long time (by adding the right filters, maintenance points( and setting the appropriate water chemistry). He knows the details of sizing vents, pumps, and other hardware in a manner that is really precise. I spoke to maybe a half dozen boiler technicians prior to hiring TJ and his understanding were far past the others. How do I know this? I studied the"Modern Hydronic Heating: For Residential and Light Commercial Buildings" by John Siegenthaler and much more or less'interviewed' others and him against a few of the fundamental concepts in the book. TJ passed with flying colors. On our installation, TJ was VERY individual will all and was easy to communicate with and work with along the way. TJ to me represents the best of both worlds - operator and brings 'world' / customized fashion of working into the mix.

Can not say enough great things about these guys. Discovered that the system and moved into our house didn't work. Following two weeks of their sellers' contractor failing to fix it, we reached out to TJ. He had it fixed in about a day-and-a-half, diagnosed the complex difficulty, and reacted immediately. He didn't try to sell us on a new boiler like another contractor did (for $10k), he just got the system working. Call them, you won't regret it.

We needed to replace a boiler which has been 50 years old for our heat system.
TJ's estimate was very fair and we enjoyed confidence and his demeanor.
His brother Chris and TJ did a wonderful job. Highly professional knowledgeable and friendly. The job took approximately a week to finish and they were punctual and tidy at each day's conclusion. We're satisfied with the result and the boiler area hasn't looked better. Very neat work! Thank you!

HTO did an excellent job of installing a multi-temperature domestic and luminous hot water system. We had set up radiant floor system and a temperature radiator using DHW and it never worked. TJ proposed a new boiler, controls, thermostat and restrain plumbing configuration. His bid was reasonable compared to other people and after checking references and reviewing alternatives with him, we selected him and he did a great job of installing the system. It works good now - so much better system. We felt very comfortable with him and his expertise/skill.

Our quite new (installed 2009) radiant heat system stopped working a month ago. We had another company come out to perform an initial assessment (failed boiler pump, likely the cause of the system not being drained/restarted right following a leak detection two years back ) but wanted a second opinion. TJ came within two days of the initial telephone (would have been less than a day if our schedules had allowed it) and supported the identification over 10 minutes (vs. two hours w/the other firm ), picked up a new pump and had it installed within the hour at a fraction of the cost estimated by the initial company. He walked me through how our system works and how to fix leaks in a straightforward, cost effective manner in the future. Heat experts are hard to find and TJ is a gem and understands his systems. Could not recommend him more highly!

TJ is excellent. No BS quality work throughout detail oriented and in funding. He installed a whole house water filter along with a 7 zone system, plus a couple of more jobs that were smaller. I am quite content with the result, the interaction and TJ professionalism. I have learnt the hard way not attributes easy to find nowadays.

We had a major gas leak and I looked on Yelp for someone to help us fix it. TJ was the nicest and the cheapest quote we got. He came back multiple times to make certain it was fixed and that he was really great. We had escapes which we'd TJ fix as well. Very dependable, friendly and got the job done.

TJ is exceptional. He 1st came by to look at my waterheater in a 6 unit TIC. The pilot was out so that he came by lit it didn't even charge us. He explained that I should keep an eye on it and tell him if it moved back out. It did, so that he gave me a quotation. I would advise TJ for any plumbing issue that I have.
