Quicker than a jackrabbit chased with a Bobcat and at a cost which didn't make the hairs stand up. With a few additional kindnesses in who'd have envisioned that replacing bearings may be a painless experience, thrown?
9/10/18: Owner confirmed he'd do the job that afternoon but failed to show.
Now the proprietor has blocked my number.
9/28/18: After a good deal of back and forth, the wiring has been replaced with an electrician coordinated by the firm (which also charged me straight for that job ). They installed a second rebuilt motor that date, asserting it was"less than two years old" and confirming it's a"one year guarantee , same as the manufacturer".
4/4/19: Owner said he'd be down"that afternoon" -- didn't show.
Wish to use a business that no shows for appointments, breaks their term, fails to honor their warranty, has an"always full" voicemail, then blocks your telephone number after ripping off you? Subsequently Independence Pump and Motor is the business for YOU. Here is my experience -- verified by text in composing.
8/28/18: Failed.
I was quoted $600 for a new pump and engine with warranty. Ultimately, I paid $1000 for new wiring (based on their identification that I now question), and a"rebuilt" engine using a"one year guarantee " After misrepresenting the job was complete they demanded immediate payment and"only accept" ACH (consequently no recourse with your credit card business -- but you still sue). Turns out the engine installed faulty and unsafe (jerry-rigged rebuild unit using an oversized capacitor) and failed in months. Replace the engine or the organization as refused to honor the warranty.
5/3: Owner never revealed.
4/10/19: Motor failed because of an"overcurrent" fault because of this FAULTY JERRY RIGGED"REBUILD." Texts followed. The business never responded then date to any texts.
9/1/18: Owner confirmed that afternoon, he'd come out, but failed to show.
9/11/18: Showed up but didn't finish the job. Did not inform me -- although installed a motor -- different from the one agreed upon. The engine installed didn't possess a rotating cap on it (bad during the monsoons).
4/4/19: I discovered the engine installed was FAULTY and UNSAFE - it was jerry-rigged oversize capacitor.
After this date texts were delivered by me and made several calls - no reply.
I GAVE THIS COMPANY SO MANY OPPORTUNITIES TO DO THE RIGHT THING BUT THEY FAILED OVER AND OVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY.
5/1: Owner finally answered his telephone (probably believing it was a potential new client, not an upset existing one), and guaranteed to come back by. I let him pick the date. He did, 5/3. I told him if he didn't finish the job, I would be leaving a negative inspection, negative evaluation and filing lawsuit.
8/27/18: Spoke with proprietor, Stephen, on the telephone. Text was confirmed by by job.
Fantastic service. Steven saved the day, when another engine guy (stay away from CJ 99dollarmotors) took my motor and my cash and never showed up. My lost equipment was replaced by steven at a reasonable speed and came out to get it all back up and running.
Steven the owner is involved in all surgeries. He cares for his customers satisfaction to the extreme to the point of having his telephone on 24 hours a day in case of emergency! Workmanship with affordable rates. Among the firm's I have ever dealt with!
