We have had Lakeside perform our checkup for many years now. They are always considerate, prompt and very tidy. They take some time to show you everything that is currently happening with the machine and always have time for questions. I would highly recommend them. Kyle even programmed the thermostat to get me!
Lakeside Service has never let us down and this time has been more of the exact same excellent support. Our furnace really gasped for life, and Lakeside arrived to the rescue. Conor K came out exactly the exact same afternoon and gave us a excellent quote for hot water heater and a furnace - lower than any other which had been introduced to us. Financing was offered, and installation of the new equipment is scheduled for Monday! Conor was really professional, courteous, and friendly, and had no high pressure sales pitch which we find to be a huge plus. We would certainly recommend them, and will continue to use Lakeside Service.
I suggest getting another look at any work that is pricey they supply.
We bought a house with an present A/C system set up by Lakeside Service, which was 7 years old. The A/C system had a 5 year guarantee, but died at 7 years old. After having Lakeside out to see if they could fix it, it had been determined it had to be substituted. A Lakeside Service representative gave us an estimate of approximately $2500 more than the install price that was entire 7 years ago. Now this sounds mad, particularly considering what do I know, although they can re-use a number of the supports and the labour should have been reduced. When asked if there was a reduction for replacing THEIR system that died in 7 years, they offered to take $300 off. So we are looking at ~5200 to replace their system. I called another company, which promptly came out and offered to replace it with a much better, more expensive method than Lakeside was going to work with, and sold it in an installed price of $1200 less than Lakeside's"reduced" price and has a 10 yr warranty on the device and life on the setup.
My furnace went outside at 11pm on a Saturday with below zero temps....lakeside rushed to fix my mill....since my unit was quite old and the fix was major we decided that a brand new unit was the ideal choice. . .sale man came to give my options to me. . .though it was a weekend that they got the device I wanted heating and installed by noon on Sunday!!!! and open the warehouse Very considerate and professional round the board, they came the following week to finish the installment service!!!! And I have since compared prices and it was a really reasonable price for the emergency support. Thanks lakeside
I have amended my one star review because I have been assured by the owners of Lakeside that inner changes are put in place regarding the manner. The occurrence regarding me obtaining a plumber in a timely manner throughout a true plumbing emergency was dealt with by my motive for the solitary star review. Second, I'd Lakeside come to my home in order to support duct work which was starting to fall out of a furnace which Lakeside had installed in 2006. The fix into the duct work was handled in very professional manner and seems to have been done nicely. I have since re-engaged using Lakeside and have reinstated my support contract for air conditioning maintenance and furnace maintenance. I'm very optimistic that this time round , my connection with Lakeside will end up being a beneficial relationship for me and my heating and cooling needs will be taken care of in a way. Also, I very much respect the way Lakeside has tried to rectify the errors of yesteryear together with me as a customer, and I appreciate that they appear to care about their reputation and when they make a mistake they"man up" and possess it, then try to fix the issue.
