Leo Gotelli Plumbing

The team set-up of gotelli scaffolding on one side of this construction to replace the drain pipes arriving from among the floor bathrooms. The whole side of the pipe has been rotten. Gotelli tied into one cast iron drain pipe that ran to the concrete pad below in the fittings. One of the pipes from the shower needed to be accessed by opening up the ceiling at the lower unit.
All the work of Gotelli has been done with permits. They got the job. The final review was effortless. The work cost around $12,000 and there have been no problems with their work at the six decades since. We're just about to call them for a project that is new so I thought I'd write a review of the first one.
On the opposite side of this building, the three different drain pipes ran out of the third floor down through a light . His team needed to jimmy ladders to the room which serviced a laundry room and two bathrooms. The job from the light well was. His team needed to spend hours placing new ones and pulling on old pipes. There was not any room. While doing this they ascertained the escape for one of those bathtubs wasn't linked to any pipe so when the tub was filled too large, the excess water just ran down in between the walls and to the garage. The wall started in this cramped light well and mended the tub pipes. They replaced pvc pipe (not to code) that was a part of the existing system and other rotten metallic pipes. They tied it into cast iron drain pipes that ran down under our base to pipes.
So I've dwelt for nearly six decades now with the job because of my construction was back in March 2011 the job Gotelli did. My husband and I bought a 1906 Edwardian construction in Feb 2011. We became aware that each drain pipe at the construction was leaking. We're talking about four separate pipes leaking raw sewage to the alley with our property into garage and down the exterior of the construction. Having been around since 1906, the pipes was a Frankenstein job and much of it because it wasn't up to code, done without permits. A contractor I worked with brought to fix the mess.

VERY SHADY Firm Rude and unprofessional. Will be complaining to the licensing board and better business bureau.

These guys showed up to our house unbooked. They phoned my husband stating they were at our house (nothing scheduled - owner was supposed to call my husband to program something and rather merely had his employees show up without actually letting us know).
They signed a column that we had a friend sign for some other reasons, when they left our house.
No supply of supplying a contract only forced to work provided and told we would receive an invoice.
Tied up and they ACTUALLY HAD THE NERVE TO USE MY HUSBAND'S MATERIAL!! Something they ought to have had together.
Once the guys showed up at the house my husband had predicted the company. The owner replied and was really rude and arrogant. He threatened to pull off the guys off the occupation and basically made it seem like he was too good of a"tradesman" to be listening to my husband concerns.
Owner had the nerve to say that he told my husband how much the occupation would be- without looking at our place or asking questions.

I called 30+ times to schedule a second trip. Leo's infrequently there and nobody else will schedule appointments. I made countless messages and the only time he called me back was to reschedule.
I am shocked that building managers of at least two buildings in SOMA recommend Leo. I am now sure graft is involved. He is unresponsive dishonest, reckless, and verbally abusive to customers. Read the other reviews and stay away!!
From Leo saying I owe more than $ 1,000, I've been getting invoices that are email. When I called and requested, he said there was not anything that he could do and they'd been hacked. He was belligerent when I indicated that there was something he can do.
Leo billed me $370. His plumber Bernardo came out for 20 minutes - one shower was untouched, the additional shower was adjusted so that the shower was not usable.
I took a day to oversee the work when that rescheduled appointment period arrived. I waited for hours and his plumber never showed. I called his office many times because I waited. I was told that it couldn't be made by Bernardo because he was in the Avenues. As I left the building, the front desk told me that Bernardo was working on a separate unit.

I told our HOA institution NEVER to utilize this plumbing company. (See a review for R and S Erection whom you should steer clear of as well, and has exactly the exact same inept management - I believe it is the identical family that runs this company, also ).
In order to reach him You have to call at nearly 6 AM in regards to Leo. He will just promise to call you back in a day or two, which as you can imagine, never happens, when you do.
The only person that seems to be in charge is Leo Gotelli. There's problem solving, or an old woman who will take messages, and it is useless for scheduling. You may as well hang up, and call back, Should you reach her again.

If you can not take tasks that are small, be honest my guidance on Leo Gotelli is. Refer them to George! They know how to deal with customers!
If you would like to have an appointment scheduled to have the plumber no-show for you!! this is the plumbing company, only to have none or to use a plumbing company that neglects to return calls, where you depart messages
As it seems the only part of this company that functions is their billing section, and their collection risks I paid the invoice.
I used their rival George Sales Plumbing. WOW! The problem was fixed by them in one trip! They showed in time! They had someone schedule! They're responsive!
After repeated calls, when I had a plumber series they were unable to repair the problem, and said they'd have to return. Wash, repeat, and wash with the process above. When another set of pipes came back, they could not work out how to put in a shower diverter. I even had a Danze tech on hold via phone (the vendor who constructed the hardware) to assist them. The plumbers couldn't even speak to the tech. Does mean you know how to fix plumbing issues or speak to pipes?
I had a shower escape, and because my dad was a business owner, thought I would use Gottelli. I am also an HOA president, also heard from the property management company this corporation could be useful.
I told Leo that I wouldn't pay awarded their horrible customer support, lack of follow through, and inability to problem solve.
SO, I had been left with a collapsed leaky shower, 3 support calls along with a charge for $365.00. Plus innumerable left no displays, and messages. I wish I could charge Leo for *MY* time.

I have worked with Leo Gotelli Plumbing for years on work projects and the amount of expertise and innovative thinking they've consistently blows me off. A special shout out to Bernardo Tom and Leo himself! Thank you for all that you're doing!

Calls are not being returned.
I had a radiator eliminated from my apartment, it required 2 techs 1.5 hrs at $145 speed and led to $475 charge. Leo's estimate on the phone was 200.

Update:
And I am still awaiting Gotelli to phone me back since they awakened the other"first thing in the morning" appointment. What a joke, unprofessional and untrustworthy. Firms like this deserve to go underneath, cheers.
I'll update this review, when the plumber shows up and when. Two appointments, two wasted days I spent waiting; nothing, and no call back. I am short handed, the weather, vacations, you name it, every excuse in the book, but this is ridiculous. As my landlord has paid these guys I have no other option except to wait while my sink escapes and destroys the chimney in my kitchen. Save yourself time and money, find another plumber, so these guys don't call back their customers or make any effort.

I had a particularly difficult wall mounted toilet job which other plumbers (groups of 2 people) had struggled together and hadn't been able to fix. Leo and I spoke on the telephone and he sent somebody to evaluate the job. We scheduled the job and Bernardo revealed up from Leo Gotelli Pumbing. He was prepared to go, came armed with the tools and was on time. Bernardo and competently put in the bowl of the toilet, we noticed that the tank had deciphered during transportation. I purchased Bernardo and another tank returned to fully the job following his mid-day job. This job had been half completed for months because of groups of technicians, but the installation professional and easy was made by Bernardo. I will utilize Leo Gotelli Plumbing for any of my plumbing requirements.

Definitely wouldn't recommend.
I called the office 5 times trying to discuss the bill with somebody but was never called back. I then received a letter two months requiring payment.
I'd Gotelli Plumbing come out to my condo to maneuver a water facet back into the wall several inches. I had been told over the telephone that the job could take 1 to 1.5 hours and their hourly fee is $150 so it could cost from $150 to $225. They sent two plumbers, although they came and did the job in under one hour. Then they sent the invoice by email, charging for 2 plumbers for 1.5 hours totally around $400. Plus they added in parts which were not mentioned when I asked for a quote on $200, and there wasn't any explanation of what the parts were.

Now, this is a copy of the letter I am sending him:The job was described by me to you when we spoke by telephone on June 1, 2015, and you also guessed it would take less than your minimum of one hour. I inquired what your rates are, and you also indicated $145 per hour. You didn't say anything about charging $100 for a second plumber.

I got your invoice for the work performed in my property. I object to this fee for the plumber that is second and I have deducted it in my payment.
AMENDMENT: the test was cashed for $190.
If he refunds the $100 I shall amend this inspection. But I advise other clients to inquire in advance about this particular charge.
Dear Mr. Gotelli,
The work is satisfactory. The plumbers arrived at and left at. To charge the minimum of $145 for the plumber, and $100 for the plumber, extrapolates to $490/hour for this half an hour of work. That's exorbitant. It is justified, you must inform customers that is your billing clinic, and you didn't.
You were called by me based on the recommendation of a few of my neighbors. Since then I have read another customer complaints about the exact same business practice that was bad, and your reviews on Yelp. I'd love to have the ability to report on Yelp, and from my letter to the Better Business Bureau, that you have subtracted this $100 charge. Your deposit of the enclosed check for $190 will represent arrangement.

Reversed charges for a visit. Would have enjoyed some help to resolve my issue as opposed to telling me to go online to find components.

I called a dozen plumbers/boilermakers and they're the only ones that knew what I was talking about from the beginning (regarding a rather complicated hot-water heating system). When the part arrived they had been about the job NEXT DAY and worked his ass off to get the work done right. I found them to be extremely easy to manage, knowledgeable, and absolutely honest. (They might have readily exaggerated the complexity of the job and the fees, but they didn't.) This is a company that's been in the company. HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION WITHOUT RESERVATION.

-I mentioned a few issues that were unrelated to the warm water issue and he went above and beyond to go out of his way and fixed them.
-He took off his shoes once he got in my home (I value the respect for my house ).
David Gotelli works together with the condo building's property managers. We had a problem with the warm water in the building and he had been scheduled to come check each faucet in my fridge. He's 5 stars because:
-The very last plumbers who came left my bathroom faucet distinct (it was not rotating smoothly anymore). He came and took it apart and put it back together and it worked properly again.
-He checked each faucet thoroughly.

I am attempting to focus on the simple fact that I am SO thankful that the matter is over with rather than wanting to tear off the lips of the other men for not having a CLUE about how to reduce bathing my kid (and myself) in fatty petroleum water, which is very ironic because I've gone out of my way to purchase the darn $15/tube petroleum-free butt paste for my kid since he was born.
Finally we were allowed to use another plumber and Leo Gotelli has been advocated. Leo himself came over and took one stated they were difficulty and look at the bend hoses on our water heater. In 30 seconds he diagnosed what the other men could just scratch their heads at FOR YEARS. And over about a week, he sent his folks out to replace the flex pads with ones which don't have rubber inside themflushed the whole systemcleaned up afterwards, and even tighened an annoying loose faucet at the sink on their way out.
Tonight I took my initial bath ! They finally threw up their hands and said,"it is a puzzle!" As to why we still had black soot coming from our bathroom faucets even though we'd changed a bunch of fittings and purchased a 600 water heater as they'd recommended. I threw myself on their mercy to fix it.

We would never consider using anyone else and have utilized Leo Gotelli for a decade. Gotelli has done every conceivable type of plumbing job in our home from fixing leaking pipes and furnace, to installing a new state of the art heating/hot water system. Gotelli is trustworthy, capable and knowledgeable. They analyze issues and problems, and perform the work required in a timely and skilled manner. When there is an emergency, then they respond instantly, whether during regular hours or over weekends or holidays. For a large job they have the staff and the expertise to recommend the optimal solution and to provide it. They're courteous, friendly and professional, and we could not recommend them more highly.

Had a kitchen sink issue. I did not know who to phone, however, I discovered about Gotelli plumbing here in Brisbane. Tom, ( the plumber who came) over was prompt, and understood just what the issue was. He unplugged it and gave me some hints . The exact same day the dishwasher wasn't draining, I phoned Tom back, and then he made time in his day to return over, check out it, and all seems fine. Tom puts his customers' pride. He is great and because of him, I would use Gotelli in the future.

Writing this review according to CS~ I phoned GLP for work that possibly would of cost a couple of grand~I was promised a 10 a.m. Appt on Monday= No call or show! Gave them another opportunity talked to owner and son= no one came or returned my phone calls+ whoever answers a lady is unknowledgeable and rude to the ph. Won't be calling them

After a few phone calls attempting to coordinate programs...
My son turned off the shower and the faucet handle fell off, last week. The fixture put on the floor of the shower, so I called my property manager and she called Leo Gotelli Plumbing first thing the morning after.
I didn't hope to get help on a Friday evening and I did not expect to have a person be as pleasant as Brian was. I am a very happy woman.
At 6:00 pm on a Friday evening, Brian Gotelli took a peek came at my flat and told me that he had the part in his own truck. He came back in, installed the fixture which was it. His job took approximately 10 minutes, he had been effective and very courteous, and I have to take a shower!

Honest info - great service and pricing.
My 40 gallon water heater stopped working over the weekend. I contacted Leo Gotelli concerning my situation and he provided information that saved me money. His staff and company are easy to work, and priced competitively. It is a treat to satisfy somebody with 30+ years experience that delivers good old service that is great and pricing. I strongly recommend using this company.

Considering all the issues I had formerly in those bathrooms (like another plumber that told me that one of my faucets could not be repaired without a part that no longer existed), I'm thrilled.
I'd use them again in a heartbeat.
Had multiple flows and in issues in two bathrooms. Leo Gotelli responded to the first telephone, came within a week, and everything the exact same day.
