Joe snaked the drain assessed the issue efficiently and cleared the blockage within minutes. I'd have been pleased with this, but Joe took it and crawled into the dark, cramped muddy crawl space beneath our home REPEATEDLY till he discovered the loose coupler in which the leak was coming from, and fixed it! I've had and Joe didn't hesitate. After he was done, he'd take the opportunity to wipe up the sand from where he was walking - it is extra steps like what show that these men, and Joe particularly, really care about their job and enjoy what they do. I thought the cost for all this work was reasonable.
These folks are great! My basement while my in-laws were visiting from out of town flooded on the holiday weekend - perfect timing, right? None were able to get to my house for a few days, which was not likely to do the job, although I phoned several plumbers. Lewis Plumbing sent their support tech, Joeout over a few hours, and he was AWESOME.
I've already recommended Lewis Plumbing and Joe for my parents, and I am glad to know we've discovered"our men" should another plumbing issue arise!
Let me just begin by saying Matthew is a stud. Needed to call 4 different plumbing firms before Lewis in order to get someone to come out to my house. Damn Santa Barbara.
Mathew fixed my tankless water heater that was leaking and came out and advised me that it was though it wasn't installed by them!
Thank you for the ground work to save some cash and get the job finished. Will be using Lewis if needed.
We had Lewis Plumbing within this morning. Got an appointment immediately after phoning, the job was done the plumber assessed for a few issues and assured us we didn't have any issues. Friendly man, left the occupation tidy and we understood our plumbing was fine. Definitely will phone for any future job!
Great staff work! We had them install an inbuilt water heater and the process was flawless. The job was pipe work for gasoline and water. Matthew is a communicator that is top-notch - comprehensive, friendly, and prompt. I have used Lewis Plumbing prior to for one fix job, which was likewise a fantastic experience. It is great to have a company of this calibre for pipes work and I actually can't think of using anyone else. Highly suggested!
My faucet broke as a result of an incident that happened in my living area, and I had a quick fix since its the only one that I have in my property. Lewis Plumbing arrived the following day, early in the morning how I asked. They were out just as quickly and fixed it up quick. Great service.
My husband and I are very pleased with solutions from Lewis Plumbing. Eric set up a gas line for a meter through the amount of our home to some other furnace. On another event soon thereafter, Eric was called to repair a previous plumbers"short cut" which was identified when Goleta Water District failed a Smoke Evaluation of the local water lines. Both costly endeavors... but mandatory and the work was done flawlessly to the very best of my understanding.
We had a plumbing crisis. After calling many places in amazement, Lewis plumbing was the only area! Everybody from Nicole was awesome! I give you guys 5 stars and will be calling in the future for your own plumbing needs! Thank you Lewis plumbing for being our savior!
Respectful, courteous, trustworthy, affordable and quick. Everyone is nice, from the woman who answers the phone to the technicians that come to my property. They have always gone above and beyond for me.
Lewis Plumbing is my go-to.
In Reaction to Lewis Plumbing's response...This time I did exactly what I needed to do in the first place, I purchased a better quality faucet for approximately what Lewis billed for the Lewis faucet he offered me.
Why could I call you back after I saw I was cheated? Continuing, because I got the new handset for free I reinstalled the next handset and for approximately a second year it worked and then whole unit collapsed a few weeks ago... in this collapse both the hand set broke again as well as foundation which is assumed to swivel had, over time suspended and had been virtually immovable.
I must have looked at your YELP reviews. I won't make that mistake again
I didn't call you since I wanted to get a new and much better quality faucet collection. So I went to Pipes supply to check at their inventory and that I brought the hand. When they found the handset I had they said"We market that one too and we can give you a new handset to replace the broken one free of price." He showed me the sample faucet mounted onto the wall and lo and behold... it was the same one Lewis offered me. The difference was that their retail cost has been less than $125 not $300 which you billed me.
What Lewis Plumbing mentioned about no one locally sells the tap, is not correct. And this why I didn't call you... When your man came out to fix my first faucet and told me he couldn't fix it I told him I had been going to the plumbing supply house to buy a new one. He explained he has one in his truck that is equally as excellent. It was not because my first faucet and yours continued about 1 year. After the"Lewis plumber's" hand set broke a year after setup I believed it was a poor unit and I'd only been duped into buying it since your man was in my home and he said he had one in his truck and if I went to buy a different one he would have to come back and install the one that I purchased and charge me .
Definitely five stars - for ages our loved ones, neighbors, and I have had excellent service from the Staff of Lewis, while it's Phil, Matt, Martin, Kathy, or Jim - they promptly respond to calls and not only have the job done well, but, as today with the water heater, tthey stood from the company's guarantee, We have had all kinds of pipes requirements attended to by the staff - we are lucky to get this reliability, consistency. Recommended highly.
Joe was fantastic! Clean, organized. . .got the work done. Also a plus was his mindset. I was told by him why and what he had been doing. I have a very old residence, with first (and brittle!) Plumbing. Our kitchen drain flowed in no time. This was the very first time I had known them, they came to my rescue.
We've had Lewis out at least to our house today, their technicians are always right now, communication form their workplace supervisor is exceptional, and most important of their technicians are great at what they do! Most recently we had them out to assist hookup a new dishwasher and kitchen sink after we did a full-remodel and our contractor had any difficulties with the plumbing component, they came in and made it hooked up and straightened out in very little time, and for much less money than I was expecting it to cost.
Lewis plumbing said I had more than 13,000.00 in sewer line repairs. Called another plumber and said the sewer was just nice and just had to be snaked. This business is not to be trusted in my opinion.
Terry was wonderful. I mean great. Thanks for this. I look forward to getting him back.
It is vital to understand the policies and practices of a contractor . This applies to all sellers but especially Lewis Plumbing. I am accustomed to working with companies that foster open communication before, during and following. This was not the case. Martin and I've agreed to disagree on the invoice. I have never worked with a seller that does not find a win-win resolution. He would not agree to eliminate used materials .
I had a scheduled appointment for 8:00 a.m. this afternoon. I was on my way out the door (and on time) into the appointment when I noticed a missed call. For some reason, I could not access the message, therefore called back and it was Lewis Plumbing. I explained, I'm on my way (into some rental property) and will be there on time. They said that since I did not answer the phone at 7:30 to confirm the appointment, they'd given it. This is absurd and I won't ever use them.
They've an issue with their office. Not responsive - bids that are composed don't fit what a plumber that gave us an estimate that is in-person advised to us also, when we phoned to inquire about it, they gave a answer to us. The plumber urged a faucet that received quite poor ratings online (the unit neglects each the testimonials ) and the quote provided wasn't broken down to what percentage was equipment, what percentage service, etc.. Inform us two weeks to get the quote (known as to remind them we likely wouldn't have received anything). Maybe they do great work, but won't hire them.
This place was a nightmare. Last 7, my water heater went out and that I phoned Lewis Plumbing their number was recorded on the heater along with since they'd installed it. I spoke with Erick, that asked for the version number and when I gave it to himhe explained that looking at it he knew the water heater required to be replaced since this version was defective, but not to worrythe water heater is covered by warrantee. He explained it'd take until Tuesday to get the replacement. I call on Tuesday and they appear to have no idea what I'm talking about but said they would send someone outside to check it out. Matthew, the guy they sent out, relit the pilot light and said it had been fine, and it did appear to be functioning --until the next day. No hot water so I phoned back. I spoke to Erick that had been upset and very apologetic that they had been told by him the heater was defective and had to be replaced along with they all did was relight it. He said he would get someone to call me the next day (today). I received this call. Said the water heater likely did not need to be replaced and wasn't under warrantee. I had no hot water for nearly a week now and asked to talk to a supervisor because I had been getting information that was different from individuals. I was actually totally considerate through this entire thing--I just need my water heater.
I wish I'd gone with my gut in the very start and called my customary plumber rather than the number I found on the water heater. I cannot recall having had such terrible customer service from any small business.
