Luis and his group were great! We wanted to rip up existing flooring then and to expose clean/polish the concrete beneath. We thought it was insecure, and walked through it and explained how they'd deal with the job. They did work and we love our new floors!

I truly loved working with Beto Luis and their team to renovate my master bedroom suite in my house on Capitol Hill. We reconfigured the bedroom and the bathroom, and Luis managed to find a way to generate room for everything I desired. Other contractors had told me that it would not be possible to find space for a separate bathtub, separate shower plus a huge vanity in such a small region, but Luis managed to find space for all of that AND an excess vanity without making the space feel cramped. He sat down with me a few times to help me decide about the ground plan and was honest with me on how much something would cost and whether it might add real value to the house. He focused on making conclusions which were practical and would include storage room and make the space more practical.
Luis and his team kept the job site clean and minimally invasive as a renovation can be even though the renovation was postponed due to a few custom chimney function. Recommend him to all of my friends and I intend to use his team and Luis to get any other jobs I have in the future. If you're looking for a contractor who will execute your job with integrity and creativity, Luis is your individual!
Through the process, Beto and Luis always kept me informed on the status of the undertaking. When decisions needed to be made, no matter how small, they achieved to ask how I want to proceed or to ensure that I was ok with their recommendation. I truly enjoyed their regular communication and advice as we labored through minor issues. At managing my expectations they were exceptional. Luis managed all of inspections those permitting, and substance deliveries, which lessened the time that I needed to take off of work for the job. They also instantly fixed anything which I thought looked off or had to be redone.

I am quite happy with the exceptional work from this corporation. I managed to schedule an appointment in a time which was helpful for the demands of my family and quickly. We had four lighting installed and two ceiling fans. Were pleased with the quality of the work. They also completed the work in a sensible time the moment. Should I ever have the need for a handyman, then I will reach out to Luis for his solutions. He is quite educated and reasonable with his prices. I needed an exhaust fan and didn't know which to pick, Luis gave information to me so that I can purchase the right one for him to put in. Thank you Luis!

I want to mention a big thank you for coming out to our property. Since our house has been having problems in the master bath that caused my daughters bathroom to be changed as 26, I predicted last week. He came out on time and got right to the issue. It was actually something but the fact he took the time to make my boyfriend and that I understood what the problem was created us quite pleased. He was very comprehensive and very professional . We believed it was something serious at first and large but he left us after we found out the cause. I'd deff recommend him for any work that is electrical or contractor that has to be done in your house. He's the best and any issues we have in the future that I will deff come back to him

My job is complete. Luis is coming to create some tiny adjustments . Luis told me that he didn't abandon his clients once the job was over. That was not a sales strategy. This was a statement about how he approaches his profession. And it embodies his work ethic and integrity.
If 100 is the highest score, I provide LLugo LLC 120. Almost everyone has building horror stories. I've none. A few insecurities - yes. Problems - none. Luis Lugo delivered what he said he would. And on he recognized the symptoms of consumer stress and given the proper reassurance.
Furniture and shielded and walls have been draped. Debris was gathered and removed everyday. Behind where neatly stored under construction in the rooms tools left. The floors have been completely wiped down at every day's conclusion.
Contractor Info and Availability::
1 consistent complaint I heard from friends and colleagues was"I could never find my builder." I experienced nothing of this kind with LLugo LLC. In the first minute of this job to the last, it was likely that Luis would phone me than for me to search for him. When I did telephone or text I got a response. If he went to be inaccessible for some period of time he let me know why and when and for how long. He was always available and never made me believe that my questions or concerns were an inconvenience or a hassle.
Cost and Predictability.
I waited a couple of months to write this review. Frankly, they are rarely written by me. But I am so impressed with this business I waned to provide a idea to what I said and the way I said it. Regrettably, experience frequently compels us toward an attitude of skepticism if not outright suspicion about the commercial world and also the motives of these in it. A great side benefit of my experience with Luis Lugo was discovering that honestly and integrity still exist and that achievement can still be constructed for a reasonable price on the delivery of services and products. It doesn't have to depend on shortcuts and undelivered promises.
What I'd done:
A single measure was not taken by anybody that Luis didn't explain - in detail - before it happened. He was on site all day, every day throughout the first two weeks and 70-80% of their time for each and every day thereafter. He always told me why and if he would return if he needed to leave. Clarify exactly what they were going to be doing and how long they'd do it and he was there to present each and every sub-contractor.
Luis supplied an extremely detailed estimate of the work to be performed - with item by item descriptions. He patiently explained the pros and cons and options in addition to choices of each option along with the expenses. While I am not a specialist, the prices seemed moderate - and lower compared to an earlier, far less thorough quote from another builder. 80% of change orders resulted from improvements that I made. Another 20% resulted from the unforeseeable problems that appear in any building projects (i.e. you have to get behind the wall to determine the state of electrical wiring). Luis expected where this could occur and pointed them out at the beginning of the job. Each change order provided a of alternatives costs and, where possible, every product.

Honesty and integrity:
90 percent of my renovations were performed over the time line Luis supplied at the project's beginning. There were minor adjustments to accommodate - when he explained it'd be but what in his hands was delivered. The 10% version resulted from a provider that I had started with before finding Luis working. Take my advice, if you find yourself turn over everything to Luis.
Attention to detail was evident in every aspect of my renovation. The cabinetry was installed The tile builder is an artist. If I could, my kitchen is so perfect I'd sleep in it.

Following the hard winter Virginia the windows and patio doors were damaged by adverse weather and renters that were careless in the McLean home. So I chose to fix the affected Windows or replace them according to feasibility either alternative. My first two or three stops were the 2-big box home shops. Because I reside in Michigan, mind you I asked for aggressive bids for material and work to be done in McLean and went into the stores here. They provided estimates and were in excess of 30k. I asked for the itemized costs and they wouldn't offer that. Thus, I researched and found L. Lugo General builders. Called up Mr. Luis Lugo (a very fine gentleman) and he had the chimney' dimensions done and an estimate provided with prices itemized. His bid was nearly 45 percent less than the least expensive bid! The proposed windows were top of the line fiberglass Marvin Windows. Builder tier manufacturers are stored by better the big-box chain. He was on schedule and impressively he mailed me videos and photos of this job as it progressed. Suggestions were made by him where necessary. I am in Michigan so this was all long distance and his business is performing the job in Virginia. He is strongly recommended by me.

Good craftsmanship. Honest workers. Reasonable prices. Reliable. These are traits I search for in any contractor I hire and I am glad I found all of them with these guys. I am someone who likes to get things right, and not only did this business accomplish that -- they made it easier for me to realize what I needed without all of the stress of house improvement.
