We had a delivery of a brand new oven range when we discovered that the electrical needed to be updated from hardwire so the range could not be set up at the time and had to be rescheduled. We called all those reasons weren't available or unable to do the job and for local electricians. Our second call was to Maine Home Services plus they could come that afternoon out. Angel did the work that was great. He was professional, dependable, and the speed was reasonable. The service from dispatch and the office, and from Angel was friendly and helpful. We could get our stove within the following day. Maine followed up with a thoughtful thank you card from the email. Maine Home Services will be our first call for services in the future.
Research HVAC, if you're considering a career. Experts are in high demand and it pays well.

Brian was an excellent tech who had been able to recommend the repair. He had been on time and very professional.

The one star is for its pricing. Because they are one of the few electrical services which will come from a crisis, Maine was called by us --and we all ended up having an absurdly rip-off price for a simple fix. We were then informed of horrible electrical problems in our home which could require walls to be opened up and given a (gasp!) Quote of nearly thirty thousand dollars. We discovered that an electrician that helped us think through the simplest way and did work.
Buyer beware! This company may do great work but they'll manipulate you into thinking you have more issues than you've got, so insanely high rates can charge you. You are going to receive lots of sales talk and a booklet that is fancy --but please, get a few other quotations and charge a fair price.

He was educated and julio was our technician and did a fantastic job. He explained everything. Willing to go above and beyond. Thanks Julio!

5 star goes amazing sales man that arrived, to Angel.
Remember, I'm giving 1star for how pricey Maine home services charging $443- a 6" recess light and $208- a dimmer.

A second for anything. They replaced 3 bathroom fans, one that was a match to the size and two that were not. Rather than stopping and saying"hey these will not match" so we can search for different models (they provided them) they just carried on and the outcome was pretty lousy. To deal with the hole left by the square-foot (replacing a larger rectangular one) they hacked in some stucco and stated that I could discover a tile bit to move in there, yea directly (even if I could find a fantastic match its always going to resemble a route, the ideal approach is to remove the entire tile and replace it with a bigger notch cut out). The enthusiast with a sheet stone celling wasn't any better. 1 star for that.
One for pure electrical work (including LED lights and fresh power outlets at the garage, operating fresh circuits, installing a new breaker box, substituting switches including grinding out the corners of some old metal boxes so they'd match new switches without having to replace the box in much greater cost ). That has been 5 stars.
I must really provide two testimonials.
So no problem, for pure electrical work they are good. But anything requiring more that that I would stay away.

Very delighted with the job that was fantastic from Angel and his crew! They were professional, precise and quick! So thrilled to have discovered an electrician(Angel) I know I could call and he is going to be accessible quickly and whole heartedly The best!!

Don't call this corporation! The good thing was they identified the problem but the repair they quoted me was thousands of dollars and came out right away and also not necessary. Another company fixed it readily and it was no problem. The quote from Maine was a piece of paper with numbers on it but did not define the job to be done. I called to report this on the proprietor, Scott, but he hasn't returned my phone call. Stay away!

Happy to have found their agent, Alan Sopar and Maine Electric. He had been through, honest and useful.
We booked an appointment to have them fixed and had problems that needed addressing. He also fixed two problems while he was here, we had. Alan spent a lot of time together with us and answered all our concerns and questions. Our very first appointment was with Chris and Julio being our electricians. With them working in our home, I felt comfortable. We've got a second appointment set up in a few weeks and I called the office to make sure they ship Chris and Julio back out. Happy to find my will continue to use them and move to electricians.

Extremely unprofessional. Technician scheduled an appointment, then day of from it saying he backed wasn't available for another week. When I talked to this girl at work (who was fine and tried to be helpful) I was told my appointment was bumped because the owner wanted the technician to perform a project for one of his friends. The proprietor looks like business owner that is terrible and a fantastic friend in regards to customer support.

Extremely impressed with the Maine Electric team to meeting with the technician from the very first contract which was on a Saturday Chase who was friendly and very informative. Maine Electric would be highly recommended by me.

We had a severe panel was tripping and completely shot. Maine was one of the few that reacted. Their job was completed and was well finished on time. High excellent work.

They quoted me 3120 to put three little sections (48". 24") sections under the kitchen cabinets lights using a switch. The installer show once I asked for LED light, 3 little tracks that would not have covered the cabinet with hospital such as lights up.
This weekend I had the whole under the kitchen cabinet lights done with walk change and LED lights for $1600.
Maine Electric you guys are several money company with no customer support skills.
Beware people!!!! These folks are unprofessional excellent support. They send young sales folks to your home or business; he didn't understand how to m aside correctly the way to present material correctly ( and of course they're prohibitively costly. Right hand doesn't know what left hand is doing.
Their boss gets on the telephone with a way to inform you want more monitors your price us greater and me LED is much more.

Here's the timeline:On 6-13, I get a call informing me that they can not perform my job (It is not big enough) for the following 2 weeks, even though they still weren't willing to give me a date. And we'll have to return and take a picture. Also, you haven't given us a deposit yet!
I call on 6-11. I'm told I'll be known as from 9:00 to 12:00.
They lie. I sniffed a few other con-men in the process of remodeling, but I overlooked these guys.
I call on 6-7. I'm told the job is going to be done on 6-12 or 6-13.
I receive a quote 6-1, on Friday.
I call to make an appointment on 6-4. My phone is not returned.

I'm quite happy with Maine Home Services. They are very professional and did quality work. I had no issue scheduling them and using them come-back to get a matter - they are simple to work with. What I love most is they communicate quite clearly through email and telephone calls, with understanding their schedule no difficulties.

So disappointed. I had an excellent encounter with Maine Electric the first three times they were used by me but my last experience wasn't. The amount they wanted to charge me to switch out a light fixture (for precisely the same fixture) was $236! I felt it was totally unreasonable and reached out to the proprietor to find out whether the quote could be rectified by him. He didn't and that I shall use this company.

This provider is amazing!!! Upgraded my panel from 100 amp. Sounds like an easy project. Well it wasn't, due to PG&E. Scott and his team were amazing!!! They walked through the process. There was some available for any questions we had, and to top it off when we had an urgent problem they had a response period!! I would really like to tell you the story but that will take far too long.

The electrician showed up on time and that I thought terrific! Then he proceeded to inform us that when his company did the work on the breaker and wiring, then it would be at least $1,500.00. He said they were and that they were also a 5-star company. He investigated the problem. He made no effort to check out the problem for us said to call when we were ready to have it fixed I thought we'd known for a repair not a live advertisement about the"5-Star" company.
Do not use those people. I have talked to friends who had issues with them after the interaction is experienced by us.

We asked for a quotation for our mild before the front door and we had been provided a quote for over $4,000. We were told that it would take all day to do this. It seems like an excessively large rate. They said that they would call the following day and never did.

Alan was comprehensive, honest, and very knowledgeable. He gave us straightforward pricing and choices. Also, he was very careful with our existing fixtures. I would strongly suggest Maine Electric to friends and family!
