I've had them clear kitchen drains, replace sump pumps, and install a utility sink.
Work is clearly explainedthey arrive punctually, and have fair rates.
One of my neighbors gave me their info & I.
These guys would be the ones to call.

Follow up review. Got my disposer replaced for $289 thank you HT Strenger, initially quoted $550 by the Steve who would let me speak with Michael. I inquired if they could do the job for $450. In Addition, the disposer quoted by Mergenthaler was a P500.5 HP, obtained a P900 .75 HP. I think run and MERGENTHALER is ONLY in company to quote. A higher profit margin. Especially with that $69.99, or perhaps it was $59.99 service charge with no credit even if you have the job done. Would rather crap outdoors than have them fix my toilet!!! Don't think it.... gnusinow@chicagorealestatenow.com

Mergenthaler did a job that is hugh due to a drain pipe breaking. The job was a cost of nearly $10,000. And that because they were local, I used them and that I sensed a reassurance Michael Cork, by the owner, everything put back together when they were done and that the job could be done correctly. After finishing the job, there was a mound!
Not a terrific means to do business and as far as I'm concerned he never finished the job. When I called Mike, I was told that landscaping was not within my contract and they are not responsible for fixing what they dug up. Mike and Not good business is not a man of his word!
The plumbing firm that is worst ever!!! Beware!!!
Spring is here and the mound is still there by my entry through the gate. I called Mike and he told me to have my landscapers fix it and it was not his responsibility. I told him he gave reassurance to me back in November concerning the mound settling, and now he's saying that its not his responsibility.

Mike and his team are great! They are very thorough and operate fast and clarify everything they're currently doing. We'd pipes replaced by these and we are very happy with also the job and the price. We'll for sure be using them.

I've been utilizing Mergenthaler for at least 25 years. They are always comprehensive and very responsive. Their rates are fair so there are not any surprises when the invoice is seen by me and they give me an estimate. They operate my schedule on, but may also respond whenever there's an emergency. They describe just what they are going to do and why. I'll continue to utilize them as long as I live in my home.

I have been utilizing Mergenthaler for years. So many times I have called them was going to be a fix, only to be told that it was a really minor issue such as a modest inexpensive switch. Besides being lovely people to deal with I trust them completely, they're super prompt and professional. I can not recommend them highly enough, and that would be so deserved by them if there were a half star rating.

I totally agree with the other posters. This pipes team is outstanding. Having just moved into the area, I picked against them according to yelp reviews. I've called them twice with pipes concerns (scents coming via vents and sump pump failure). Both times diagnosed the problems and they reacted. Wow! We have them on speed dial up.

The owner, mike, spotted some work accomplished by plumbers that was not up to code. I checked out it and it was not. He didn't tell me I had to repair it straight away. . .he didn't press me to perform the work together with him. Instead, he contacted me by phone that night and explained that I need to call the Village and also have somebody come over to see if there would be an issue (we're putting the house on the market). He advised me to get in touch with and ask them to return and repair it. He emailed me a description of what the problem was. I truly appreciated the advice, the aid with helping me explain in"lay man's terms" into the Village what the issue was AND that he didn't attempt to market himself as the one to repair it straight away. It was something that I might have had them perform to get it right. It was above and beyond. . .and when anyone refers me to somebody else to fix something (if they could charge me $ themselves and walk off ), it speaks volumes to the way that they operate.

They aren't cheap. By enabling more water they tried to repair our clogging bathrooms. Now instead of simply clogging, our bathrooms overflow causing water damage. Getting bathrooms that are better is to do. We won't be utilizing Mergenthaler.
