North Coast Sewer and Drainage

We bought our house and moved in last Friday. That night, I noticed there was water coming out of the center drain, along with a trickle of water in the sewer main. (We'd just painted our cellar floor the day before, which has been ruined!) . I called a plumber who arrived, spent 2 hours trying to rod it, and could not figure out how to fix the issue, so he abandoned. (Didn't charge.) I then called another company to come, who suggested ripping out our complete garden to devote a clean-out. . .they wanted an obscene sum of money!
Out of desperation, I looked for a third attorney. . .and behold and lo, I found the dream business to deal with: North Coast! Eric showed up a half an hour after I called! They spent but it was too clogged. Eric suggested opening up a small hole in our driveway, putting into a PVC pipe, and a clean-out...
Victor, did a fantastic job, and the proprietor, and his team came out now! The drains are actually working perfectly....if you have a sewage issue. . .these are the men to call...

He repaired my drainage dilemma and had the opportunity to answer some of the concerns I have for those pipes in my floor toilet with insulation and water pressure.
The associate was very professional called and gave me a heads up on his ETA.

Once again, North Coast saved daily. Our sump pump malfunctioned on a Sunday morning, and stop the flooding and Eric had a plumber out within a couple of hours to replace the pump. So we'll never need to worry about a sump pump issue again, james updated our system, and they were fair and helpful as always. When you employ North Coast, I can't say enough about the professionalism and attention you receive!

They were able to come do the job 2 days later, at the arctic cold weekend, and everything worked out to the best case scenario he had lent us. Seriously, when does that ever happen a contractor ends up charging you the end of this quote scope he gave you?? Eric sent someone out to level it out at no charge to us, After we noticed later on was sloping. We might not have been more happy and much more thrilled to be treated honestly and so fairly. North Coast will be our first call for any plumbing or pipe needs as long as we are living in Chicagoland.
We couldn't have been more happy with North Coast Sewer and Drainage following a water pipe issue this past December. We immediately phoned some of the neighborhood and nicely reviewed plumbers to have a look After we noticed our water bill had spiked up to $500 for the month. The consensus was that among our outside water pipes had a leak somewhere between the water meter and our house. We got three different quotes from technicians who quoted us at the $9k-11k range, saying there was no option except to rip pavement and the entire ground between our house up to the water tubing and then replace the entire pipe. If there was any way to simply track down the leak and fix or replace that portion of the pipe, when we inquired, we had been told no.
He was the sole person who was really attempting to do the reasonable thing for us to make it cost efficient and as convenient as possible. My husband was traveling and that I had a 5 month old at home and a two year old. Would be relocate somewhere for 2-3 days while our entire front lawn was awakened to find a leak.
I was complaining about this on some co-worker who advocated North Coast Sewer and Drainage, after she utilized them for a few repair job in her cellar. Eric came out instantly and had no difficulty opening up the water meter area out, sticking a fancy camera down there and finding the leak within a 2-3 foot radius. He gave us the expenses associated with each and the situations based on what he might find. The best case scenario was that they fix the leak, can dig in the vicinity of the pipe and cost less than a third of what others . Case was where he believed that the escape wasn't and they'd have to rip up more, and might cost half of what the others . While the others bought a minimum of 2-3 days of job (meaning we wouldn't have some water turned in our house for 2-3 days and might need to live elsewhere), Eric stated it might take 4 hours or 8 hours shirts.

I strongly recommend them because they corrected their program to satisfy my need, provided competitive pricing (best of 4 quotes), did the job they said they'd do (in 1 afternoon ), and included restoration of the front yard at no extra charge. The license was obtained by north Coast and managed the municipal inspection. The work crew were tidy and professional.

This review is over due. The group at North Coast are life savers! Our pipe burst during North Coast and the vortex squeezed us in their schedule so that we could have running water as soon as possible. I figure a water pressure issue and they came back to help my wife and made sure everything was working correctly. Eric and his team are always great. They are always professional and pleasant. His prices are always affordable and also the workmanship is always topnotch. He's repaired dripping broken pipes, faucets, resealed toilets for us. He also set up a new shower program , he had been so great in helping me figure out how to locate the best one out there to replace the old one which was quite unique. He has a great deal of patience because we trouble shoot and then he shifts into solving the matter. Pleasant to possess around our busy family. Prompt, courteous, professional. Living in an old home it is pleasant to have a fantastic plumber when required, to call!

It's this sort of admiration for individuals that I actually love, and the care and attention they brought to the job was obvious. Daniel and ryan did a great job in describing what they do while and didn't speak down to me personally, as many contractors frequently do. They also made suggestions for my hose and now my landscaper is on the task to help tackle that so I will be less likely to have issues with my sump in the future.
Nicole managed to quote me prices over the phone, consult with Dan with my questions return my phone calls so I could get started on the job when I'd made a decision to go with them. They replaced my industrial grade water heater (A.O. Smith, which was what I had earlier ), replaced my sump pump and ejector pump together with Zoellers. I got me horsepower on my sump than I had before. Everything came with standard 1 year parts and labor, and maker stated warranties on components (like most pipes and manufacturers offer).
North Coast quoted me rates for the job done. I had a massive streak of bad luck needing a change-out of a failing sump pump, ejector pump along with a 20-year-old water heater (all at the exact same time). I gave Nicole the info I had on the phone, got quotes from multiple plumbers, felt insulted by additional pipes if they inquired why I had been having multiple plumbers quote the occupation, and was happy I went with North Coast who never questioned my intelligence or my desire to manage my expenses since I am not made of money.

North Coast've be used many times by me and I did not have experience EVERY single time - I found them to be somewhat expensive and wanting to charge me. As an example, they told me that my sump pumps need to be replaced but they're actually working correctly. If they could simply be fair and with ethics, I shouldn't need to compare work with other businesses. I won't ever use them .

A crew of 2 came that afternoon. They chosen for the cheapest solution assessed everything to do pretty quickly, explained what I should anticipate and proceeded to begin the routing.
It was hard work. The man holding the pipe is pretty large and powerful and I could see how hard it was straining the process is. However he did the work quickly and efficiently and kept a grin on his head. I understood when my bathroom drained 11, he was successful.

They spent hours trying to fix the issue without having to dig up the lawn but we ended up having the day, to as a last resort. The level of service that they provided was phenomenal to make sure we had water service whenever possible Not only are they capable and hard working, but they made sure to be as cost efficient as possible when doing the job. I don't usually write reviews, even though I read them all the time. It is because of the reviews I called North Coast Sewer, in regards to the water I got during heavy storms in the basement. This company was professional and very courteous. They set up a flood management system in my front yard that took a day to install. I was quite impressed at the job they did, but also. They'd done As soon as they do you would not feel the small footprint that is left after the massive amount of work! Thank you!

In the course of six months after buying our house, we had two separate basement floods because of Chicago city sewer. We knew we had to do something, otherwise this could keep on ruining and occurring our basement each time. After studying lots of favorable reviews of these online, we took a chance on North Coast. The owner, eric, arrived at the house to offer a free inspection of our entire sewer line. He was very thorough, appearing at and our catch basin throughout the pipes in the basement. He also took the opportunity to run water throughout the house to find out if he could ascertain where the may be. He ascertained that a flood control system was the end-all-be-all solution that could prevent any future sewer back-ups! He most definitely did not sell me. He answered all my novice questions about sewer and pipes systems, and he provided me with a printed diagram of the way the flood control system would function. He had been ready and willing to stick out the machine right there on the place, but he desired me to become comfortable with whatever choice we make, whether it had been to do so, to stick out the machine, or to put in a flood control method (which also includes rodding and camera exploration). We picked for the flood control system.

I haven't used this company for support, but they are very great men and women. One of the employees my automobile passing too close on the left. The episode was handled professionally and honorably Eric by the owner, and his wife. They paid for all the rental car and the damages I wanted while my car was being repaired. I believe that speaks volumes for their integrity and professionalism. They are very nice people and obviously care about their organization and how they handle things.

They used a brass 6" check valve, precast cement pouch and also a Zoeller pump. The very best of the best as far as components go, so that I knew they did not cut corners to make my budget.

Eric arrived and agreed that I needed a check valve and asked what I could afford. After some debate we could agree on a price without comprising the system that I could afford. I was relieved and within 8 days that the group in North Coast was at our house digging out front yard.
They also let the time stands and watch them, I am sort of a nerd when it comes to my house and want to be acquainted with every facet of it.
North coast was found by me and gave them a call, I explained to Eric budget constraints and my dilemma and try to help and he offered to come by.
The group got the work and was super professional. They left the lawn as blank as it was before they got here.

I called over 10 different pipes and sewer companies and the average quote for a Flood Control (Check Valve) was $8,000+. We are house poor because we just bought our house and had sewer backup issues within 2 months (We are living in Dunning).

We are really happy with this provider. They have been very professional, kind, and, most effective in solving our plumbing issues. We know they will make it right when we have an issue.
Both appointments were easy to create, and both times Eric was able to help out us. The prices are fair. And Eric has also been very flexible. The first time he came out to repair our drains, he had been writing up our bill (his tools already put away in his truck), and then I recalled that, oh yeah, I wanted him to look at the leaky dishwasher, also.
We just moved into the area and into an old property. We have used North Coast Sewer and Drainage twice now--after to figure out how to turn off the water, and once to dismiss the upstairs.
