Plumber nonsense. Makes time waited all day to show for the very first visit, never called, I called and heard his explanations, rescheduled, gave up after waiting 2 hours for him. Next.

I am a Lover of Paramus Plumbing & Mechanical. Following the delay, he replaced the 29-yr old unit with a Goodman and later made another visit to change the thermostat & several work. He was specialist to come back quickly to set matters right that demonstrated his character, although I did wish he got it done in one job.
Within my rental unit, a old HVAC unit broke in the summer of 2016 and my tenants dealt with 88 level heatwave within my condo. With NO IDEA about a unit, I researched over 10 businesses and a lot more A/C units to build my knowledge. I picked Brett based on very few testimonials at the time because reviewers seemed to say one thing in common: that Brett charges fairly and is dependable. (I called two other men but Brett appeared simpler and reasonable)
So it was somewhat frustrating time it took some time to get an appointment because he would be too busy at work and didn't have any assistant too. Then he would pick up. Just nature of this profession I suppose at work within my home picking up phone calls in the midst of work either because I wouldn't want my contractor. It took a couple of weeks until he was able to make the trip to install because he told me that the unit shipment was delayed. Since my renter was complaining about the heatwave that was tough for me personally.
That's why I am giving him a 5-star rating that is well-deserved and may recommend him.
Mr. Brett Pagan met all three standards and I am pleased to call my go-to guy for my HVAC/plumbing requirements.
As all plumbing/HVAC customers can attest, it may be a bit nerve-wrecking to find a trusted plumber/HVAC professional that will 1) do quality work, two ) is fair, and 3) reliable.
Fast-forward 2.5 years and this time the furnace was not working (ignition was not coming ) and my tenants had been freezing with a sudden cold wave. Brett emphasized with the situation, told me he would book me forward of his packed schedule because it may be a quick job that requires urgent attention, then taught me to book my appointment the next day together with his assistant Caroline, whom got back to me at a reasonable time. She did promise me that the men would be calling me if they are in a position to visit the place at the day, but I was afterwards told by my renter they came by to fix it. I wished she let me know as promised, but was surprised that they cared for it no cost.
I am thankful that he cared for this matter, and glad Brett's company has voice email and a admin person and is doing.
I will be honest - Brett is not perfect since you can see from these small quips, but what I care about is integrity and professionalism - and he has shown both consistently in the way he does his best for his clients and fixes any after problems that may sometimes arise.

They missed the time, arrived. A week or so after I received a vmail they wanted to go over the job. I inquired if they can send the quote in an email to me and returned the call address. A few weeks have gone , no quote.
I have to say I was not surprised. The interactions I had with them about the telephone left me guess if they'd show up. We'll do you a favor and come out and bidding on the work kind attitude, although they came across as being not very interested. So thanks to the reaction to my invitation for you to bid on installing CAC. You helped me narrow down my search for finding the ideal customer based company. I asked for a quote to set up Central AC in my house and phoned them. At first they wanted $175.00 to emerge. I'd called 5 companies whatsoever, Paramus was. I balked. Quotes aren't paid for by me. They agreed to come out in a mutually agreed upon time and date and reconsidered to bidding on the job.

Luke was The three issues I had weren't crazy but he managed to determine how to repair the problems and saved me a fortune in the procedure! A plumber needed to open a wall to repair a leaky faucet. Luke discovered a workaround that's worked perfectly. A bathtub needed to be snaked and he handled it better than any plumber I have ever hired for this issue. I can't suggest Paramus Plumbing - and especially Luke - more!!!

Paramus Plumbing finally installed a new system after installing a heating system which cost me $1200 plus five nights at a hotel to stay hot at my cost and did not work through the winter. I am replacing my review on this review.

We had a suspended pipe and I called around trying to find someone to come out ASAP. These guys were able to come to my house and the service was great. They unfroze the pipe, additional insulation around the pipe, and put a small bit of foam to prevent a draft in my basement crawl space that had been causing the pipe to freeze. The only thing is that it was very expensive (approximately $700) but I figure it is cheaper than coping with a burst pipe.

Awesome Brett came into our rescue!!!! We had no heat last week at the first cold snap of the season. He came and fixed our furnace at 10 minutes, very reasonable rates his number will be kept by a Excellent experience in speed dial

We can not say enough. Wewould give 100 stars if it had been possible to this place and're so thankful to him. There should be that night, more people and companies that care for others the way Brett cared for us. Please, please support this small enterprise! We are happy we did.
Oh, after he left us at 15, and then he moved to another job! He is the owner of the Enterprise. It was now Saturday morning. But he had people in need and did not want to leave them hanging.
About 9:30pm on this cold Friday Brett did not leave before the job has been completed after midnight and showed up with his equipment! He had been determined to get our heat back on. And that he did!
He had been out on another job at the time. I described the issue, and Brett suggested we FaceTime so he can see our boiler and attempt a few of very basic things together with me on the phone to attempt and get things up and running. (We are a ways outside his usual service area, and it was a busy night -- he did not believe he would have the ability to escape here. But he wished to see if he can help.) When I couldn't get it moving on the phone, he explained"I am coming out there tonight. We are gonna get back your heat ."
We lost heat in our apartment on the coldest night of the year, just a few days before New Year's. Real-feel temperatures were in the single digits and negative degrees, therefore plenty of folks had frozen pipes and pipes were nowhere to be discovered.

I had been dialing . I had been jerked around bad by the guys that were larger. Eventually , I gave this place a phone about 8:30pm that Friday night that was distressed and my telephone was forwarded to the cell phone of Brett .

We used Wickersheim Plumbing, and did end up replacing our system. They are more expensive, but they're extremely reliable and their guarantee actually means something.
I hate to write a bad review because Brett did appear to be a man the first time we worked with him. For our ac a brand new device was installed by Brett in 2015. We had thought we found our plumber for any future issues.
Two decades after the device broke. A part on the device broke along with the refrigerant discharged out. This wasn't the fault of him but the maker. I reached out to him but at first not got a response, so I called another firm who explained what had happened and came out. They recommended attempting to get in touch with the company who installed it (Paramus Pipes ) since it should still be under warranty.
I managed to reach Brett this time and he said he would come that evening to check it out, which their job was ensured by them. Until he did not show up It was reassuring. He cried and the following day I reached out to him again and said he would come that day. Again, he never showed up. The next of days I chose to reach out answer to him. He called and apologized and stated that he had experienced a"family emergency." Oh well, it only a week with no air conditioning in July waited about to show up. Then he went on to mention that he was backed up with different jobs that he would not have the ability to help us out (with the job he stated he"guaranteed.")
To really add insult to injury, at the conversation we brought up the idea of replacing the entire system in our property. For this he said,"well, in the event that you wanted to replace everything, then I can do it!" He did not have enough time to check out something he ensured and had done, but was ready to drop everything to perform a job.

Fortunately, I stumbled upon this company in my search to get my central ac unit repaired. They returned my call within minutes after I left a voicemail with a concise description of my problem, although they didn't pick up immediately.
When Brett arrived, he immediately recognized the problem and showed me just how much it'd cost for the fix and also what had been broken. This was a capacitor that is worn out. He also tested the refrigerant levels; although it was a bit low, he didn't attempt to get me to recharge my machine together with (pricey ) refrigerant, since cold air was blowing inside.
As a homeowner, my main worry when looking for someone to fix something that's broken is that they'll attempt to tear me off, overcharge, or sell me a service that I don't require. Sometimes, it's a crap shoot if you are basing your decision on Yelp or even Google reviews. Either the reviews are outright or bad bogus.
I know jack squat about AC units and I would have thought him, if he'd informed me that the compressor or some more expensive desired roaching. But he didn't. I appreciate honesty and his professionalism. For that, I'll utilize this these men for my needs. Thank you!

Our furnace was not working on Tuesday night and we had been desperate to find someone the next day to repair it. Called two areas before I found Brett and we are grateful for his service! Brett arrived at our house soon after I called him. He assessed the issue, went out to get components, and came back to fix it. He remained until he was convinced our heat is back ! AC went on the fritz out of nowhere.
Called the 800# at 8pm at night hoping to leave a message. Brett picked up and we scheduled an appt. He showed up as scheduled.
Brett replaced a couple of components and refilled the coolant, and within an hour I was back in business.
Honest work, a great experience and reasonable price. Highly recommend.
Checked Yelp and watched just how tremendously rated this business was.

Overall, he is a fair plumber with all the knowledge. He won't be the least expensive either, although he isn't the most expensive attorney. We'll use him again.
He came out on a Thursday evening. He thought it was a simple fix (only a bad circulator pump), but it was it still would not prime. He up the whole set in under one hour. If you've got to pay someone that is great. Even that it would not prime. he called it to do some research Now it was midnight. The next day when it was run by me, It primed straight away. It could have been an air bubble or something preventing it, but Brett returned to install some valves to bleed it more easy.
Paramus Plumbing did a fantastic job on a current issue at my property. I have a steam boiler with a small loop of hot water baseboard heat for the inclusion part of our property. The loop would not prime as I got my system up and running to get the period. So that it was our first time we just bought the house. Brett from Paramus Plumbing provided lots of insight and explained everything. He is prepared to talk about his knowledge because he moves through the job.

I had a terrific encounter with Brett and his team. They functioned well into the day to ensure that my kitchen sink draining and was snakes properly. Brett made sure that I was seen by someone that weekend and that I was not left hanging, when I was in need of assistance again. I would call Paramus pipes and mechanical !

I'd recommend these guys for any HVAC or plumbing requirements. We had been during the week of the year, he came in, fixed it without AC, and we were back to cold in no time. They are honest, and will make certain you're taken care of. Was a joy to use.

Bret came to my families aide, after attempting to purge a horrible kitchen pipe for days came out the day and diagnosed the problem and provided a lasting solution that was long. As his professionalism is what really set him apart from the rest of the pack I recommend his services.

The boiler did not operate effectively in the Winter and the situation was not rectified by the company.
