I have lived in Santa Barbara for 30 years and over that time I've had occasion to use a variety of plumbers. Plumbing Tech provided me with the experience up to now. Two technicians arrived within in hours of my telephone. They immediately diagnosed the cause of my problem (no hot water at a brand new vanity). The warm water heater was cleaned out by them quickly and economically. The cost of this service was very reasonable. I recommend Plumbing Tech without booking, and can use them again.

If possible I would give negative stars. They will SCAM you.
So - no meltdown. It's not necessary to ruin my bathroom or jack hammer. The need to do the job these men were hired for.
Matt explained that my sewer line had collapsed. Awful information. Worse was that it was under the slab within my house. They wanted to carry my toilet vanity, jack hammer through the flooring in my toilet. Throughout the slab. Dig down, tunnel, and replace a 6' section of tube. Fill back it , and fix the concrete. That is a lot of really destructive work. They provided me a 15% discount on the speed project, because I'm a AAA member, and a first-time client. Price came to about $5,400. They had on the area funding from Wells Fargo, and they could start on Sunday.
I was away on a trip and had to take care of a sewer emergency as toilets and showers had been backing up on a Saturday. Called for a principal line clean out based upon a search and a 69 wash out special.
Another plumber came (won't give his name) and also did a camera extent. The pipe is good. Not many cast iron (I was told it was) - clay + some ABS plastic, although there were several tree roots, the difficulty was that there was a ton of paper towels and other items clogging up things. He was able to transfer the masses and the system flowed. Boom - exactly like this. Minutes.
Based upon my knowledge of how much things should cost (hourly prices for a plumber) vs. the price for labor (they proposed ripping through the concrete), the cost seemed astronomically significant. But plausible. Though it never came, I requested him to send the quote and funding via email he said he'd do.
Get a 2nd opinion and I decided to call some friends. I'm happy I cooled my jets and took my own time as it was a SCAM.
Matt can't be reliable. Do not let these guys near your house. A shame since they give the good ones a bad name.
