After doing a great job on the building of the barn (thick slab for a thermal mass, 2x6 construction & metal roofing ) and passing our barn'tryout' project, Precision Customer Builders (PCB) recently finished the construction of our custom 2-story house near Placerville, CA.

They did an wonderful job! The home build took a bit over 1 year to complete from site grading to final review. PCB pulled county permits, did the site grading, water tank pads (quantity two, 10' diameter each), trenching for water and electric lines, tank pump controller and pump choice, footings, stem walls, framing, roofing, doors, windows, plumbing, electric, insulation, decks, flooring- the whole'megillah'!
We are very satisfied with the outcome and recommend PCB for any residential construction project.
The PCB crews kept a clean jobsite. Suppliers were, we assume, paid promptly (substances were sent to the website as required and no liens were filed). Matt handled his sub-contractors nicely and worked with all the subcontractors that we brought into the project- that comprised the provider for the cabinet manufacturer and doors, the windows, fire sprinkler system installer system installer and the mason. I'm convinced that he would have been able to make his subs had we guided him to do so.
Matt Blessing (PCB, owner) supplied a fair quote according to our technology drawings. He had been familiar with all the sub-contractors in the area. Keep the project moving ahead and matt worked directly to solve any design problems.
Throughout the project Matt provided suggestions to improve on our aims and kept us appraised of some problems that might impact cost. My son, who worked from Southern California, visited during the home framing and was very impressed- noting that any project on was far exceeded by the quality.
