I called Progressive Heating and Air Conditioning following another business allegedly"fixed" our difficulty. (Scott Walker HVAC is TERRIBLE) Progressive REALLY mended it AND did so for an affordable price! I'll call them from now on!
Our A/C unit went after 17 years of good service. The men came out immediately and diagnosed the issue and showed us why it was no longer possible to perform patch work. A replacement was essential. The job was scheduled timely and when the men came to do the job, they didn't stop till completed. A wonderful touch included make sure our complete satisfaction and a follow up visit to answer any final questions. They have customer service!
The technician diagnosed the matter. Our difficulty came when I asked about repair expenses. The technology had was a glossy book with a variety of prices ranging from $1300 to $700. When I break down costs that are install and asked the price of the part, he could not give me it. I sent him on his way & found a reputable HVAC firm who researched and discovered my method was in warranty (less than 10 years old) so parts were free and set up was below $450 with five year guaranty on parts & labor. Won't be calling Progressive again'Slick Willy' .
I had the same experience as another reviewer. They are very"slick Willy" -- The technician only recharged my machine, did not check for anything or leaks. No price breakdowns, although they have a glossy book. He couldn't tell me, when I asked how much everything was individually. Very shady firm.
