Mature trees add shade and beauty but their roots can lead to damage. Roots grow into the plumbing because they like it there! Sewer pipes contain nutrients, water and elements for trees to grow. Aside from sewer blockages and backups due to FOGG, tree roots are among the maintenance items. Roots from trees growing on parkways throughout the service area and on private property are accountable for sewer pipes experienced in our neighborhood and many of the sanitary sewer service backups. Every homeowner is responsible for maintaining their sewer laterals-the pipe that joins the sewer pipes in the house to the main sewer pipe, which is in a street. The stream of warm water inside sewer pipes causes vapor to escape into the cooler land surrounding the pipe. Homeowners should know about the location of the laterals and sewer cleanout pipe, and extend from planting certain types of trees and hedges near the sewer lines. Trees must be located over 10 feet from sewer lines to lessen root intrusion. The common way of removing roots from sewer service pipes entails the use of augers, root generators, and high-pressure water jetting. Resolute offers testimonials and root removal from the lateral sewer line.

Very good firm!! I called them in the morning, they were there within one hour solved! Clean workers and men! The cost was reasonable considering it had been emergency work. I recommend using these men because they know how to navigate the drain systems so they are not as likely to harm other drain pipes while cleaning out the clogs over calling a plumber. In fact, they were urged by our plumber!
These guys are awesome. Our sewer was clogged with water and roots came into the basement. They arrived right off and cleared it up. Tom and Mike did a fantastic job. Very respectful and clean.
Tom was amazing- he came out did a great job and was a true professional. Super nice guy - a joy. I strongly recommend him, he knows his stuff!
Great!!! My 100+ yo house trap backed up at 7pm and my basement was at risk of becoming a DMZ. I called Tom out of Resolute who actually answered the telephone and we left a 9:30 appointment. They came a couple of minutes early. He gave me an excellent price and assessed the issue. The problem was resolved in an hour and Tom gave me some fantastic advice for some upcoming plumbing jobs I have. I will definitely call Resolute.
