Apparently the Fremont, Oakland, Tracy and TriValley location are of the same owner. Sean was amazing and showed after and before and monitored at which the bathroom lines are coming .
Have had two informative visits. If you need to manage a line pricey urge them.

Trying to become proactive every couple of decades, with a sewer line which backs. Roto Rooter is the only firm which has a camera for a two inch line. Costly but I am ready to cover the two looking to see before and after effects of snaking the lineup.
Will use the Drainbo they market to try and assist with backups.

Awful experience. Our shower was backed up so I utilized the"Request a quote" button to, ummm, request a quote. I got several responses and picked Roto-Rooter because they were both the first to react and had the quote. And they offered 20% off.
The plumber came and promptly quoted a cost 54% greater than the quote via Yelp. I called customer service -- they patched me to the neighborhood service center that claimed that they never give quotations. They also did not seem to comprehend what Yelp is.
Which begs the questions, that gave us the original quotation and from the Roto-Rooter account on Yelp?

I didn't realized the company was that expensive. The technician also did an effective job of unclogging my kitchen drain and showed up within the time frame allotted. Charge was $293 and I mentioned the coupon deal which brought it down to $253.

Talk about on-demand support! We had our sink clogged up quite badly and support. I went to their site, filled their service request, and also got a telephone call. They explained their pricing which was pretty fair, and we obtained a plumber. The plumber has been very professional and got to the point. That is my second time using this service and guy, they've knocked it out of the park on the two times.

Don't use this service if you don't receive a confirmation up front of what it will cost, and look up costs on the internet. They had been here simply unclogging a pipe for 30 minutes charged almost $500. This is a entire rip off, never use Roto Rooter.

At least, I'll take someone who calls me with any advice.
I phoned Roto-Rooter in approximately 8 AM this morning describing my kitchen sink was draining water. I was pleasantly surprised to hear they would be able to get there between 8 AM and noon today. At noon, when no one has established, I called to ask the status. I was told that they were running behind, along with the shipment would call me . I phoned again at two PM, and was told I was following on the record. I called at 4 PM running behind. At 6 PM, once I called again, they told me that they might have someone in my house at 10 PM tonight, but he'd only be able to unclog my disposal, even if it needed to be replaced he wouldn't be able to help me. I to,d them to not bother. I've called a different plumber who can not come until Monday, but assures me they will be here inside the window provided.

We called Roto-Rooter to get a clogged toilet. Robert predicted in about an hour. He got the job done within the allotted time and was professional, effective. He was very respectful.

I phoned them for clogging issues. Two hours are spent by them. However, the issues comes up. So I can't call them since the warranty provided is for 2-3 months. However, my question is do I want to keep calling each time for issues that are clogging.

Andre B. did a profecional job now 12/14/18 in my house, nice customer service.... For certain I call this business .

Techcian was competent and polite. He clarified the issues and cost,then entirely the work.

I want to thank Andre in the bottom of my heart for his time to purge my drain. He was educated expedient respectful more than all of the aforementioned. Last week we have a plumbing issue, and plumber tries until Kvein and JJ came, they take repair for 29, but they can not mend and they let us know how to prevent it take place. Thanks very much.

We had a wonderful experience with Roto-Rooter. Jerry did our work, and he had been incredibly patient and smart. He patiently answered our queries and was calm throughout the process. He fixed up everything exactly how we wanted. I highly recommend Roto-Rooter and Jerry.

My HOA representative refered to this business me, and I told the man to back shower and bathtub drainage problem about my spine. The man on the phone asserted it would be a simple fix, and he's going to send the most seasoned man (with more than 30 years experience) out there to help and the whole thing will be finished in one hour, I was relieved temporarily, so that I scheduled a time window between 2-4pm.
Empty Promise #1: They did not show up involving the time windowrather I needed to CALL IN in 4pm, and that is when they said the guys were behind along with different jobs and wouldn't show up for one more hour. I just wasted my afternoon waiting, and also the man showed up at 530pm.
Empty Promise #3: Therefore the man couldn't repair the problem and needed to call his manager in. We are currently at 730pm, and that I told both the man and the manager that I don't wish to cost to run over $500, the manager promised me he'd fix it and that I just had to offer him $500 even though he went over time. Nicely....he spent another 1.5 hours , and couldn't get it fixed.
My experience with Roto-rooter could be summed up to two words: Empty Promises.
Therefore nothing is fixed, the problem is worse because both the shower and bathtub are not draining AT ALL (before it was draining very slowly). And the bill is currently sitting at $800. Their suggested next step is to break open the wall to alter the pipes, and it will be another 1000. . .Really frustrated with my experience with Roto-Rooter, did they mention that that they also left my bathrooms really dirty WITHOUT once they gave up trying to resolve the drain CLEANING?
Empty Promise #2: Remember when the man over the telephone said he's going to send the man that is most seasoned over? Well that was just another lie, they sent someone who isn't anywhere near as experienced (he's very diligent though, so I have to give him credit for that), and following two HOURS of snaking, he couldn't repair the problem.
Empty Promise #4: We concurred that nighttime the supervisor's team would come out in 730am following morning to repair the situation, but the group did not come until 930am. Still another TWO HOUR DELAY, my wife and I couldn't shower and needed to call in late for work. And surprise surprisethey went up the roof and the difficulty was STILL not fixed. And half the squad left my house unannounced, I'd no idea they left completely and they did not inform me of the procedure at all.

They do NOT serve clients 24 hrs! It is a LIE!!! We requested them to send out somebody and had a pipe leak in the day. They assured us they would but no one came. We called again multiple times to confirm when a person was discharged already. Finally the next morning that they said they might send some late afternoon and the team was on a project during the evening. Worst customer service! Call do not use this company.

Roto rooter gave me a consultation and named. They gave me a yelp discount and their man, Justin was right on time. A personable young and very polite man. I truly enjoyed Justin. He showed a lot of ingenuity and real persistence to get this problem solved. Once I explain to him exactly what the problem was got right to it, he listen to me. It was having to do this and I really felt sorry for him but he was very cheerful and ready to do it and get the job finished. He checked for me in one drain which was sort of an additional at work. And that was very sweet of him to do that I was concerned about that particular drain. He's a very clever and capable young man. I was thankful that that's who they shipped me I would call them if I needed them.

PS our mailman remarked he has seem Roto-Rooter trucks occasions in our neighborhood now.
Now, Roto -Rooter sent Robert out for and emergency back clearance (something that has to be performed every year in our area ). He, was thorough and knowledgeable. As always we were quite delighted with the outcome. I'm so thankful we heard about Roto-Rooter years past, so we have had results, when we needed their aid.
Understandably Roto-Rooter includes a great reputation, so if needed, knowing the high level of support, many call this business they supply, and never consider evaluating them on Yelp. Although I have never hesitated telling folks they are.

We cleaned up the mess, solved the Issue and had a great experience on a Saturday night with Andre who Had Been on time, Effective - highly recommend

Did the mistake of employing those men to replace a garbage disposal unit. They purchased the merchandise installed it. . .so far so good. The unit doesn't work and a receptionist told me that the warranty was only for 2 months when I called the company up. I challenged that and she said she didn't understand the reason. I was told that someone would call me back. My opinion is simply, do not have rude receptionists answer the telephone and in the event that you cannot guarantee your job for more than 2 months dont provide that...I have used them before for regular plumbing and never had a problem. It is a shame that they don't stand by your workmanship when it comes to installations.
