These men were great Stephen H was very knowledgeable and professional and was able to get the toliet!
Had a clog and Known as Roto-Rooter. It was fixed by them. Suggested they take a peek at our drain pipe for money. Fine.
Their guys looked me in the eye last week and told me that we had our pipe excavated ( we do) and said,"I'm sorry, but it's going to be $13,600. I know it's Christmastime, and I hate to give you this information..."
If you're working with Roto-Rooter please, please and want work done, get another opinion. What a rip-off.
Called around to discover that they sub-contract out the work. That we thought, and assumed we would save a few thousand dollars locating somebody on our own. No. Roto-Rooter doubled the price! We are getting the exact same job done for $6000.
Unreliable and unprofessionalWe called today with a urgent need. Since we believed a company may have resources to help quickly we picked Roto Rooter. We called at 10 am and were given a 12-4 time frame. Great to proceed, we believed. But we told because they are occupied on another job, they can not help us today after all and were known as at 3 pm. Today we have waited and will have a far more difficult time finding someone today. Meanwhile our renter isn't able to use their bathroom. It sounded like this is a regular issue for them. I could never have envisioned a plumbing company backing out on an appointment to get an urgent need. I don't know how they could advertise that they are accessible 24/7 when they clearly are not.
We had a technician - Stephen H - return to our home last week to unclog review water leakage and a drain. He had been outstanding, went above and beyond what had been called for, and took the time to look at an issue, assess the problem and make numerous recommendations for fix varying in pricing and effectiveness. Stephen was patient willing to go the excess mile to help me and when describing the issues were happening. Next time I need a plumber and I'll ask for Stephen.
"Stephen H" out of Roto-Rooter came out and knew instantly what to do. We had an earlier technician and we believed the problem was repaired, but it wasn't. We called again and they sent out Stephen. He was quite knowledgeable and showed us what happened every step along the way. He took the time to describe to us precisely how the"snare" functions in a tub. Till you are having trouble, not everybody knows about these things. You need to get educated. Stephen was personable and ask for him and we wouldn't hesitate to call.
