My AC unit was switching on / off and under pressurized. Bill out of Russo Bros was working in my street and after speaking with his dispatch, he arrived on over and had the problem diagnosed with under five minutes. He finished all the repairs, came to the home (wearing interior shoe covers) to check everything was working properly, made a few alterations and was completed!
Polite, courteous and completely professional.
Everything was thoroughly explained, detailed on his iPad as we spoke along with the statement delivered to my email address.
Russo Bros impressed me (so much so I signed up for their annual service plan without being asked or cajoled).
So refreshing to feel that you had good service, and you actually got what you paid for.

Hello. I wanted to write this post to warn you if you are currently thinking about using this service. I had a problem with a bathroom which was not taking to flush, last month. The man came and said I had to replace all of the parts that were inside in order for it to start working. The prices I was given by him to the plastic parts were ridiculously large. I called a different plumber and he came and showed me there a switch that had to be turned back on. If water valve is shut off, it automatically turns off. Needless to say, he didn't charge me and showed me. Please do NOT be taken advantage of!! and note AWARE

ABSOLUTE WORST. Came to my house technician with zero experience problem that is mis-diagnosed. Replaced a part that has been working fine. Charged a thousand dollars, then heat still not functioning. Said another million needed, but nevertheless will not solve problem. Said installation is bad. They were the firm that installed. Save yourself the headaches and call someone else.

I'd Russo Bros. & Co. come outside to get support to get irregular heat plus they charged a $150 diagnostic fee. It was a warm day and the technician was time constrained and their view was there was no problem but assured me when there was any matter, Russo Bros. & Co. could come back and reevaluate the diagnostic fee.

Shortest version, it was a warm month and it's a region of the house not used every day, about a month after we turned to the heat and it did not work so I called Russo Bros. & Co.. They were not so pleasant about informing me I would want to pay another diagnostic commission, even though I agreed if I did not have them do any work. Despite the fact that they answer the telephone"it's a fantastic day in Russo Brothers"they had been mean-spirited and regrets regarding collecting their charge.
And a Better Business Bureau complaint was about their fee.
They substituted a circulator pump.
My system has lots of space, for every pump along with the Service Manager was in my basement less than one hour.
$956 to get a $88 part and much less than a hour labour!

Thus, Russo Bros. & Co did not rectify the situation to my own satisfaction. For all those interested, a search for"cost to replace circulator pump " on Angie's record a full repair including labour ranges between $200 and $550, this was the highest range I could locate, and also their assumptions even use same Taco-brand pump.
What prompted the re-review for customers is that they billed me $956 for the circulator. The circulator pump sells on amazon for $88 and includes a record price of $157. https://amzn.to/2S8lN8I

* Russo delivered a service man, who identified a thermo-coupler that was faulty. Replaced it. All checked out great.
* Last year, they arrived for an overall review of my AC units. So tech said he would need to return for external review, it had been raining. Came back and billed me again for 2nd trip
I will refrain from comments and focus on providing facts just. So here goes.
* 8:41pm: I call back and leave a message
* Later that evening, I smelt gas, called Russo (after hours)
* Home boiler (sole source of home heating) pilot light was out, could not re-light it. Called Russo Brothers
* They had a service individual within the hour - identified a petrol shut-off entering the boiler. NOTE: This shut-off was a problem before that morning
Decision 6:57pm: They call me back. Read my account history, including the fact that part and labor have. But tell me I will need to pay $250+ to only get a service person to come outside to take look. Components + labor. Said, they would call and see who would come out
* Shut-off replacement + off hours visit charge $337.73
Yes, all service is guaranteed 100 percent or Russo Bros. & Co. will redo the repair at no cost. The guarantee on equipment varies according to the equipment and the manufacturer. Extended warranties are provided on select equipment. Telephone our office or ask your technician.
* Year for overall review of my AC units , they arrived before last. A couple of weeks later there was water close to the unit - billed. Did not take culpability that they and no care identified for the clogging of the overflow inspected the unit valve

Companies have started to get in on this action as they see this scam is although it's sad. It is tricking you into thinking when it does not, the costs comes from a legitimate source. Please report their activity on another review source like Google or Yelp. It is wrong.
To the past customers of Russo Brothers, assess your invoices. Have a look at the purchase price and then check the purchase price. Notice a difference? You'll see a big difference. They'll take your hard-earned cash with a grin.
I am really starting to see different companies begin using this exact same scam. And it works. I heard this man brag to me that he billed $6k for a 2k job for this lady who did not know. I wondered how he could do that and simply stared at a fellow American. Company is not business. I have come to the realization that scamming people WILL make you money but that I don't think it's worth it. I really don't think I could take the shame of appearing at my face every morning. I genuinely don't understand how this proprietor does it.
Formerly, everybody assumed that the official cost book must be true and accurate because it comes from an official looking publication. However, that's the scam. The publication isn't published by some sort of Plumbing Association or even a Plumbing Group that publishes fair prices. It is just a dressed up publication that has prices.

Yes, they will call you before the appointment ahead of you, they will wear their booties so your floors don't get filthy, and they will do the job correctly. But does this justify that the cost of this job is LITERALLY ten times what additional plumbers charge? Hell no.
Should you read the respone of the owner, you'll see that he did not deny a thing that I said. Not a thing! Everything I said is accurate. Their prices are doublesided. . .sometimes 5 times what they ought to be.
I initially wrote a review that summarized the scam that Russo Bro perpetuates. They have been doing it for a LONG time, possibly decades. They had a 5 star review until I exposed them for what they are. And everyone looked at their past invoices and realized that they began writing reviews and were really scammed.
(Please notice that Yelp eliminated my initial review that detailed their scam. I guess they compensated off Yelp. It wasn't sufficient to remove this review. I am certain if they remove this review, they would get sued by Consumer Affairs since everything I said was accurate and unbiased.)
Russo Bros was the company that I fulfilled that used this particular scam. It is funny but it's not illegal in any way. Why not? Well, they did not claim that the official-looking"cost publication" that they brought from the truck came out of a separate 3rd party company. They just brought out the book and YOU made the premise that the publication would be fair. YOU were ashamed to ask exactly what the publication was. (Don't feel bad, my spouse was too.)
My spouse named Russo Brothers since they had 5 star reviews (at the time; nobody understood the scam that they were running along with the tons of cash they were making). They appear professional. You will be called by them . They'll use their booties. And, when the job is finished, they will take out this"cost book" that's supposed to a official publication on plumbing prices. Where does this"cost publication" come from? . It comes out of a publishing company that sells these prices books that has plumbing costs that are LITERALLY five, or ten times greater than any other company would cost. They'll say that's exactly what the cost book says, Should you dispute the cost of a small faucet escape that costs $500 they can not do anything about it.

I know I have worked with many plumbers who do lousy work and that the prices of Russo are the cheapest, but the service is excellent - it is not worth it. THANK YOU EDDIE along with your team - I can always count on you and that means a great deal. I would suggest Russo.
Among the plumbers of Russo, Raul, came out last fall to aid with an issue. Before he left, he turned off the water at the source (at the furnace area ) and opened all my outside spigots so the pipes wouldn't freeze in winter. I had a landscaper position in my driveway fragile flowers that are prepared to plant and the water could not turn on. I had forgotten all about the year earlier and was really upset. I phoned Russo Bros to complain to the supervisor, Eddie, and he sent over somebody instantly - another plumber named Phil, who figured out what Raul had done. When Phil and I went to the furnace area, we discovered that Raul had left a label telling me to turn the water back on. :-RRB- Russo did not charge me for this excursion, though it had been my fault, and Eddie and Phil were very.

The technicians who arrived at the home (Lou and Max) tried to take advantage of the situation --and tear me off by roughly $1,000. The proprietor (of course) could not clarify how one minute my part is"broken" and the next minute"wallah! A miracle-- no further broken"."
There is not anything to further talk with this corporation.
I feel that the technicians have been educated and told what to do"in the very best" You were caught Russo-- I recommend you be truthful and form up. Especially with women --
Someone had called me to explore their own displeasure with my calling the police on them- to examine the situation --and their criminal action.

I live in a condo and the neighbor beneath my unit had a water flow. Turns out runs over their own wall. A pin hole leak was found and Russo Bros technician says it will charge $650+ to repair. I expressed my outrage at the cost (I did not even call these men, my downstairs neighbors did),'' A few minutes after the tech says that he spoke to his supervisor and can reduce the charge to $455. Still a far as I'm concerned. I've had plumbers do the job. When it was my phone, I would never use these thieves.

Felt scammed.
They said they needed to service two parts for over $600 without any guarantees and a furnace would be $10,000. I obtained PSEG to look at and paid them for their service telephone. The tech said he drained 10 buckets of water from the machine and the heating.
Called my furnace to be looked at by them. I told them I added water. They said they needed t add to get a"pressure evaluation ." They said because it had been leaking, my furnace wasn't working and added the water.

Fantastic experience with this business now. Had a clogged bathroom, they came out over a day of my calling (it wasn't an emergency). Arrived on time, tech was professional and very courteous - wore booties every time that he came in and out of the home. Tried a simple fix , when that did not work, explained a procedure that was more complex. Before doing any job, went through pricing. Took two hours to complete the job, and abandoned my bathroom in the state that he discovered it. Could not have asked for nicer service. I thought for the amount of work Though it did cost just under $500 to mend, this price was fair. We had attempted without success to fix the issue ourselves, so we knew there had to me some thing - and that there was. Would definitely use them again.

He has to be in town hall in the pockets of someone. Stay away.
Over billed me. Had the worst attitude.
Asked if I wanted a water pressure test which I composed it in large letters and refused as though it mattered which I refused.
THEN had the guts to report me for not needing a license for work done. Did he know this?
These people are the dirt bags.

I called Russo for an estimate. They weren't readily available to arrive at the home on Saturdays. They called me set an appointment and back few months after. A man came to the home. Very wonderful guy. He left telling me that he was planning to send me a quotation. He did.

I stated I would be in touch and paid my stupid emergency charge.
Plumber attempted to unclog 1 toilet and couldn't get it moved on into the upstairs one. After going straight back to his truck for a snake and maybe 15 minutes of effort, he then said the toilets were broken and would need to replace . After hearing about his 10 yrs on the job and how experienced he had been, I knew I had only 1 alternative. I MUST CALL ANOTHER PLUMBER.
I called and he stopped using a snake and after 25 min had both toilets unclogged. He cleaned them later.
Called because both toilets in my home desired and were clogged support that was speedy. They told me it would be $49 for your emergency cost ( which is nice ) but didn't appear until the following day.
What a waste of money and time it was calling Russo Bros & Co..

Chris fixed a flow in West Orange, NJ on short notice. He as professional and ceased all the leakage in our plumbing.
I use him again and would recommend him.

Service that was good overpriced. I'd 4 quotes for some work in my laundry room. All quotes were from plumbing companies that are licensed that are professional. The Russo Bros quote was roughly 50% higher than the 3 quotes which were all close. Incredible! I can't recommend them.

Nothing is worst than having to call a plumber for your home to repair a leak after a pipe burst. To find needed repair following the cellar water damage and out out my water heating system also failed.
But, Russo Bros did an fantastic job. Their service person Nick was professional and also skilled in explaining the problems and why and what he needed to repair though I was angry at the cost of the harm. Plus he helped make sense why pipes are so expensive.

Our tech, Jeff, was fantastic. He is totally professional in fashion and a plumber. In addition, he took the opportunity to describe what he had been doing. This was the very first time we had used Russo and we had been satisfied.

Beware. Had one of their techs come out troubleshoot my condenser for $117. The tech told me that the repair would be about $1400 parts and labor and the $117 to purge and that parts had to be arranged. Then proceeded to convince me that I should replace it instead. I told him it's going to need to wait. I called a different business . The tech replaced.
