SSI Inc is my go-to, advocated HVAC company. I've used them for my components now for several years and their technicians are educated, thorough, and extreme professional. I enrolled to get service checks and I am sure it's going to be money well spent.
During my latest experience, the technician seemed attentive and was excellent customer service in addition to an all-around fantastic personable! Compared to if I was stuck using the HVAC companies that are lousy inside my home assurance plan, I relieved SSI can be used by me now rather and believe I am much better off now.
I saw didn't replace the lattice and out that he rolling shelves beneath my kitchen sink. Called the workplace and they said they'd notify his supervisor that he didn't wash up after himself. Terrific. Brian did come back the following week (last year ), fixed everything and cleaned up after himself. Just a couple hiccups that will be resolved, Fantastic job overall.
**Upgrade ** Andrea called me to discuss my difficulties with my service and telling her what happened she apologized and asked if there was anything SSI could do to make it appropriate. I told her I wasn't searching only letting her know so it can be repaired, what happened. I was happy until she called me back and asked me to alter my review. Can't undo what has been completed, but will commend them for taking the time to call me. I'll be back.
This is really for the plumbing division. Support, office staff great, meh. By booking an appointment through Yelp over a weekend so I started off. Got a confirmation email for a consultation the following Wednesday between 12 and 5. 4:30 rolls had come from the house. Called the office and talked to Mercedes. Turns out my reservation wasn't any where to be found! Explained email to her and forwarded. She booked for Thursday and said to go through their site rather than Yelp. Great. Subsequently Brian diagnosed what had to be achieved but couldn't get it done because he needed parts and shows up. Fine. He was so or here before 7:30 and I told him to come back. Perfect. Until
They don't work up to code or B. they can not do it to the proposal cost they gave me way quite unethical business practice. I spoke to sale supervisor on Friday about the greater cost for the variable speed handler rather than the single speed which they jacked up the cost by nearly $1,500.00 to cover the lost money and since I decided to stick with the only speed handler they stated they feeluncomfortable to work together with me while they were setting up at the expo center but on Monday when I asked them to perform the dimension and I would sign the contract now they stated both celebration ought to feel comfortable so I told them I am comfortable. All these are my facts that are honest and I don't need to lie. In case you decide to go for them be careful. I sent text and multiple emails trying to solve and they went unanswered. I think that the owner ought to be aware how his business has been conducted. In case the owner would like to see my proposal just reach out to me .
3 stars because of SSI wasting hours of the day and fixing a problem with a impolite and very poor technician who came out.
They sent out a follow up and he had the problem fixed in 10 minutes.
Quick, friendly and professional. Called yesterday for their spigot replacement special that was $99. Tech was here now and troubled shooted on the pipe and managed to cut, pull replace and reconnect for $99 while others firms needed $300 - 500 and wanted to punch holes. Done in less than 30 minutes. Will be providing a price for gas line so the cook top can be converted by us to gas. I'm sure I'll have them.
This is my HVAC business. They are honest and will be the best priced in the region. From installing my components to doing my upkeep I could not ask for technicians I have been servicing together for decades. They have won a customer for life! Go SSI!
Oh, BTW--needed a plumber assess a problem on something else and he looked at just how my hot water tank had been put in by SSI a range of years back. They'd plumbed it in a way guaranteed to create galvanic corrosion. Either cluttered or nefarious. Not sure, but SSI never sees another dollar of my money.
Along with the 14K Trane HVAC system that SSI installed and hasn't worked properly has stopped more . They could never do this thing up and functioning and HVAC companies looking at it were at what they sold appalled.
I was a happy client until something. My guess is the next generation started running the company as a way to squeeze more cash rather than as a service business. Stay away from SSI. Go darn service rather than these.
Don't have the best experience with this business. I called in for help and barely even got that! Together with their lack of customer service skills I'm glad I went with the other corporation. At least the manager of the company was nice enough to give me a phone so there is still hope I will give this business into the future to help sort.
Total morons. I have had several jobs done by them previously by a man who regrettably left about one year ago. They have been pestering me via telephone to come and perform a review for a few months. I scheduled them to come and give me a quote for a new water heater. It has been on my calendar for more than a week. After waiting an hour I eventually called and left a message. They didn't call back. I called again only to find that 1) that the estimator was ill and 2) they had scheduled it on the wrong day so 3) They didn't call me. What makes anyone think they can find a repair right if they can't actually get an ESTIMATE right? Never again.
This business was our favourite although We've had several HVAC maintenance contracts over the years. They were used by Simply . Technicians always looked undertrained and overwhelmed. Tried to sell us extra services that we didn't want or need. Just like a hard sell. Unimpressed.
They arrived it rain outside, support was just mentioned and no surprises; work that was speedy and customer friendly!
I have been an SSI client for about ten decades and have been really happy and satisfied with support and their HVAC care on my HVAC system. Every technician was outstanding and still is, and most latest one was Clint. Very clear communication and functionality and professional and outstanding job and expectations set.
Since it was leaking more than 15, Now, I attempted to fix the leak. I replaced the cartridge and was able to eliminate the cartridge and then stopped the leak. I believe the main reason Joshua couldn't eliminate the cartridge is since he didn't get rid of the cartridge nut that was holding the cartridge. That was why I gave him the tool that was the capsule nut remover. Therefore, even with all the documentation, it was useless since it was not read by Joshua that he would know that there was a cartridge nut.
This inspection is on their Plumbing Service, which is rated 1-star. I had the same expectations because their HVAC service, but unfortunately that expectation didn't fit up to par with everything. It was my very first and LAST in using their plumbing solutions. Here is why. I paid for example my HVAC maintenance arrangement for a plumbing care agreement. What set this is being hauled in to get involved in the ceremony, as opposed to be left alone to do my job like the HVAC technicians do. Joshua asked me to show every room that needs plumbing inspection and had to stay because he would call me after scrutinizing a space to him , then asking me to lead him. In summary, there were. When he did find something, like a drain noise when toilet tank is filling, faucet leaks, etche does a quick quote of about $220 for every possible fix. Therefore, I requested him to move in fixing a leak in the master tub pluming fixture situated on the floor. This is a Moen merchandise and he asked me when I have an documentation. Fortunately, I did have the Moen cartridge to be replaced by an education manual because I replaced it previously. Note that my home builder that installed my plumbing fixtures do not provide instruction manuals for plumbing to the client. Then I went into my office. Joshua called me and stated that he needs me to switch the water valve off down the cellar. Had to leave his job oblige his request. After a few minutes, I went upstairs to see his advancement. He explained that it seems to be stuck and that he was having a difficult time removing the capsule. I gave him a tool that I bought to remove the cartridge nut that holds the cartridge went downstairs to continue with my job. Again I went upstairs and he also explained that the cartridge was stuck and that I would have to replace the entire tub plumbing fixture--and he phoned Moen to order the components. After he called Moen, he asked me that I will need to contact my"tile guy" because all of the tiles surrounding the tub will have to be torn down so he could replace and put in the new plumbing fixture. That caught me by surprised about demolishing my tiles in order to do this job, because he didn't say anything. Because he kept pulling on the capsule out and reassembled lever the handles, and restrain, there were leaks coming out from the spout than previously. I told him that I did not expect to spend over $2K that started with a small leak on the spout and stated that I will need to live with this leak--worse than it was.
As he closed the service ticket out, he also stated that he will charge me around $ 100 for spending. I got upset and called his manager, Todd, and expressed my intense disappointment for the entire support. At first, Todd was defending that his technicians possess the right to ask the client for the education manuals on account of the many new brands and products on the market and I told Todd that my plumbing fixtures are over ten years old and that my expectations are the his plumbers should learn more about the many brands and products that are older than 5 years old, or even 10 years old. Also that Joshua didn't convey that he could be charging me for the repair support, since Joshua signaled he presumed that the client should already know that. I also told Todd that I had replaced exactly the cartridge twice and haven't had any troubles removing them, since Joshua told Todd that the capsules have not been substituted in 12 decades and were stuck. Todd eventually said although his expression was not in agreement, that he won't charge me for this service.
We've had great service. The technicians are professional and polite. They provide dependable and knowledgeable feedback for all of our systems and make sure we have a solid comprehension of maintenance and issues ourselves. The office team is fantastic. Communications and scheduling are top notch!
Brendan and Eric provided a rate HVAC installation. I'll use this company again in the future.
Our smaller HVAC unit expired over the spring so we called the folks who installed our larger unit last year and they desired (what we thought) was an outrageous cost so we shopped around and found SSI. Tim was fantastic to deal with and at less than a months time we had a brand new HVAC unit in a wonderful price. The setup took all the day but the installers were courteous and knowledgeable and did an amazing job. SSI will probably be my brand new folks anything heating and AC. . .you guys are wonderful!
Excellent a reasonable price and service. Can not ask for much more than that when purchasing a big-ticket item. Will definitely use SSI when our unit is kaput.
Me walked . I'm quite happy with the services which Brendan and Joe supplied. They gave multiple choices and recommendations. Also educated and modest. I'm convinced they will continue to provide superior service. They also got it done in a timely fashion, but not rushed. I'm glad I opted to go to get my HVAC units replaced.
Our 1st encounter with SS and we are extremely pleased. Professional, timely, accurate pricing and no hassle for"add-ons". From initial phone call to emailed receipt in less than a week, you can't beat that. I recommend you give them a try too and will use them again.
The technician fixed the issue of getting AC and came on time. They seemed to know their stuff. Deducting one star gave me a hard sell to purchase an UV light filter to get rid of mould for $1800.
I had impression when I called Service Specialties to repair my AC unit . We predicted the company for the service again, since we had poor capacitor on AC unit. This has been a mistake. They stuffed 1lb of freon and shifted capacitor. We paid approximately $500. Our AC was not working, 10 days later and we predicted Service Specialties . What we heard was we lost 3lb of freon and we had to install new AC unit since finding leaks is not easy and our AC unit is pretty much attained its lifespan (8-12 years). The technician told us that they can set up new Trane system. We asked him why they did not find it. But, the response does not have any idea because technician did the work. I felt like we got ripped off by Service Specialties. I don't like the way the technician pushed and explained to market system. That got me to telephone other company for estimates and I am quite happy I went along with firm. At least firm clarified and gave me options of AC units to replace.
