I can't recommend Mr. Snell more highly. After LEN wanted to replace our antique bathroom sink at good price, Mr. Snell was able to mend it with a minimal cost part and approximately 40 minutes of labour. He took the time to show us efficiently and quickly taking care of additional plumbing needs within our property in addition to the way to keep up the sink. In addition, he scrutinized our HVAC system (supposing that it was in great shape) and provided useful feedback on things we should keep an eye out for. He was upfront and clear about his rates and policies.
I can not recommend him more highly. One thing to note - he does not have an answering service - in my experience if you leave him a message, however, he'll return your call in a day, often in a few hours.
7/2016He even found another leak I had not seen and repaired it. Before starting his
I phoned Mr. Snell after reading the positive reviews on line, reading his website and checking with the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Snell's charges were reasonable so I contracted with him.
Work, he coated the floor and my washer and drier. The work was done. Mr. Snell is professional and friendly. He provided me with a reception for the work and lots of business cards before leaving. I have shared the cards with my neighbors. I urge him.
Mr. Snell scheduled me at the following day. He also repaired a cooper pipe that was leaking .
We've utilized Tim Snell now 3 times. His service is unbeatable by far as a plumber. The very first time he came over was for a leak. He worked with me over the telephone to determine where the hole was (on our upper floor) and then once it was figured out, he came over and fixed it at minimal cost. The 2nd period about 2 years back he fixed out water heater by putting a new feeder tube in it so we can have hot water again. This time he fixed a pinhole leak that was new in an entirely different location down in our basement. I would definitely recommend him to anybody in the region. I have before and after photos I mean to post. The flow had apparently leaked for many years and had completely soaked the wood and all the way through the drywall (that is how I discovered the problem). I initially thought it was a t-joint which was leaking but it was the original builder who'd assembled a supportive pipe clip to encourage the pipe (forming a T). Ended up forming where the sharp edge of the pipe met the water pipe is where the pinhole leak. Mr Snell fixed by eliminating the shoddy work and nicely you'll see once I post the pictures, the way he did it.
