Never responded. Rescheduled. Then never responded again.
A few neighbors urged these men, so I used their"chat" function to program a quotation, which promised a response as soon as they opened at 8:00 am. No one responded by noon, so I called them. Between 3 and 5 pm, they scheduled a quotation for Friday after many excuses. At 2:45 (when I'd already left work early and was on my way home) they called to cancel. They stressed that they charge $ 50 to come out to examine work when I talked to reschedule, but they had been doing me a favor by offering a quote. I left early from work for a 3 - 5 service window on Tuesday, also NO SHOW. No call. No text. Nothing. No firm charge you just to give a quotation and certainly no company should make you leave work TWICE.

I own a House in Washington DC and in Denver, so I've interacted with contractors over the years. My name is Allen Qiu. Please feel free to message me here or on LinkedIn, and I'd be happy to provide more details. I need to be sure noone else needs to go through this encounter with Sunshine.
My experience with Sunshine was hands down the worst. It started off nicely, as I had them do plumbing work. I signed up to get a 1 year maintenance deal, since I liked the plumber they had that included HVAC. They came to do this and confirmed our AC unit was nice. The technician (I'll refrain from using his title ) insisted that a Compressor Saver would help prolong the life of our AC compressor. He installed this and charged us for $400+ for it. That same week, the summertime heat kicked and our AC didn't turn on. The man who did the setup came out and stated that there wasn't any power to my furnace. I tried to ask follow-up questions and all he did was insist that I pay for the support trip charge. He explained it resulted from wiring between furnace and the compressor. If it was associated with his job, because what else would it have been, I inquired he ignored and hurried out. I have many electricians and they said the same thing - wiring hauled out the connection between furnace and the compressor. It took them two days to purge and make sure that there were no safety problems. They haven't charged me for they felt that bad and because I explained them the problem. Together, we predicted Sunshine over each and every time, and 5 times, the operator used a neutral, political voice to state someone would call me back but nothing ever happened. Because it had been a week of no AC and 90 degrees, I started off very polite but got increasingly frustrated. We got an appointment and after that they no-show'erectile dysfunction. This was a Friday afternoon, until somebody said that I had been rescheduled to Tuesday; no notice, and I called back many times. That is another 4 days with no AC. Had 2 new companies come out and evaluate. To estimate them, the previous job was"fishy and not best practice" Avoid Sunshine at ALL costs.

Once more I was impressed with personnel and the service . Justin did a great job tuning-up my furnace and was informative and productive. This is not my first time and it won't be my last. I would strongly suggest them.

Always have been really professional and timely. Never try to charge me for things that I don't want and seem to care about getting the job. Had them had them put in a sump pump which was up to code and check a clog in my basement drain. THe Yelp bargain on this was what initially grabbed my attention.

Sunshine Plumbing Heating & Air gave me one. Not only are they reliable and professional, but they stay true to their word. I recommend William Frew & his team at Sunshine !

Tony did a great job helping us find the lowest price solution to our plumbing problem. About what path was 15, since we decided he had funding in mind for us. He was friendly and very patient. Would recommend him and Sunshine as a company.

The employees until I returned home, waiting in the front of my home for 2 hours.
I would've sad the original experience of this was a" it could occur" thing but that is beyond overboard.
They had been kind enough to let us use a portable ac unit at one of our rooms. They began their setup and arrived. But - there was issues since they didn't possess. I never heard anything else, after the employees left the day of the setup. I was not informed when the part would come in, when they'd go back to finish the work or exactly what the plan was.
While their workers perform excellent work and are awesome - do not count on the business for honesty and communication. I'll continue to keep until we get our rebate calling. However, from here on out- it is not likely that I will do business with them never have I received in an experience like this!
Back in June- out ac completely expired. We had sun come out and decided to install heating system and a new ac at our house - that was rather expensive.
The ball has been diminished throughout the whole encounter on this for us.
When it was installed- I inquired about filters to the home and if they can kindly put one back in for me since I am short. The worker informed me falsely I really don't require a filter at all. In addition, he explained that their proprietor would come to make quality work has been done and sure everything is installed properly.
-------
*Update* get things to being settled tracked and I had to be the biggest asshole to finally get a reply. Susan- the owner/ was kid enough to reach out to me to find this managed by tomorrow. As the procedure goes I will update this. I just need this fixed so that it could be done.
The process took about two months from start of this project.
Nothing was again heard by me . Nevertheless, they were quite prompt in calling me to pay the bill. So when I finally heard something- I asked of when this inspection would occur I know what's set up safely and I am allowed to use our new AC unit. Another couple of days go by and the proprietor comes.
However it's currently September and almost 3 months since having this particular install and we are STILL calling them to try and get our rebate sotuated. We keep getting a run.
As customers we have not been dropped.
Three days afterwards - a worker came unannounced to my doorway to finish the install. When they'd return, that might have been excellent if they called and communicated with me. U luckily - I was not at home. The worker advised me that the office advised hi to appear in our house, not be concerned about us understanding not or whether they were coming.
Because they were suppose to provide a producer rebate of $ 2k, we decided to go together. Virtually every day, my husband calls and leaves messages and they are ignoring usso today warn people and I feel compelled to write a review on social media.
He had zero interest in speaking to me. I advised him about how the whole procedure was u professional- they have inadequate communication- but I was fair. They were kind, considerate, and answered queries. How they operate their business is awful!! He seemed flustered and offered annually of filters to make up for the Inconvience that was kind.

I thought we had trouble with our home drain line because the Sunshine Technician stated so and because it backed in a couple weeks. So, I brought an independent contractor who did not execute any kind of line clearing or repair work out. This man was a plumber for over 30 years who's currently retired and all he does is empty line inspections. He conducted a high resolution camera which was a lot bigger in physical dimension which what Sunshine used and came out. This Tech spent roughly two hours running his camera up and down our drain line. He would correct it so the opinion was always right side up, simple to see and understand his camera would find the tilt. He found no issues or worries with our drain. I was absolutely dumbfounded and honestly did not believe him. He explained the Sunshine Tech probably used a smaller camera to seem like there was water, when I told him the Sunshine camera was submerged. This Technician asked if I had been given photographs or a recording from Sunshine. I was not. But this man gave me a full length video of the entire inspection and practically begged me to not spend another cent on our drain. It's been well over a month and I have never got my refund to the Sunshine club membership.
When I got the estimate for the drain line work, it had been $7.8k to fix and $14.8 to replace. Both costs were higher than I anticipated based on some remarks the Technician made, so I inquired when the estimates included the 25% reduction to the club membership and called the office. I was told the club membership did not offer a reduction for"New Digs" and that all the details were outlined in my membership information. Ok, my fault for trusting the Technician rather than studying terms and the lengthy membership arrangement. After speaking to my wife, I called the following day Sunshine back and requested a refund to the club membership. They told me they'd process the refund by check and I would get it. Not really sure why they could credit my card, but anything.
In about two weeks, the drain line was backed up again. The work we'd done with it an extra clearing should it back up again in 30 days free of cost. Thus, we called Sunshine on 12/30/18 and scheduled a second service. Because Sunshine did not answer their mobile phone, I actually scheduled the appointment together with the Sunshine answering service. This has happened a few times during business hours with Sunshine. Meaning I find the answering services and call during hours. I advised the answering service it must be the afternoon because I had been going to be working and wouldn't get to bed until about 6 am on 12/31. No problem per the answering services. When I did wake up on 12/31 about 12:30pm, I had a message from Sunshine explaining so it must be done by 1pm they are only working a half a day because of the holiday. I instantly called their office, but got. So, shell out an additional $350 and I needed to call a different service provider. Another company came out no additional charge on New Year's Day.
In our home in Lakewood , we experienced a drain line back up in December of 2018. The basement drain was backing up. It was of course the weekend. I called Sunshine Plumbing because I had used them in the past and had a positive experience. They sent someone out on 12/10/18. The Tech offered a price of $129 to cable (transparent ) and then camera the lineup. The ceremony was agreed to by me. Throughout the cable operate, the Technician pulled a few origins out. Then his camera ran . The Tech and I tracked the progress of the camera. Because the camera view was always backward and upside 25, however, it had been pretty hard to ascertain the condition of the drain line. At one point, the camera was underwater in what the Technician described as a low place and this was my difficulty. He recommended I place repair or totally replace the drain line. It seemed expensive, and so I asked him if Sunshine offered any kind of Veteran discount. I'm an ARMY Combat Veteran. He explained they did not, but the had a club membership for an yearly price tag of $294 and it would lessen the cost of this fix by 25% when I bought such. There were also many different advantages he explained in detail. So, the club membership was bought by me and he agreed to find the estimates for repairs to me ASAP. I was told by him the estimate would include the club membership reduction. I was subsequently billed $149 for its cable/clearing and camera function even though I had been quoted $129. He did not, although the Tech noticed this and said he would charge me $129 because that is what he quoted me.

In preparation for the cold time, I contacted Sunshine to have my furnace inspected and tuned.
The arrival window was between 1 - 3 pm. With these types of support calls, I'm always utilized to getting somebody arrive at the tail end of the window. 20 minutes, rang my doorbell . (Obviously, he predicted prior to coming and I concurrently received both email and text notifications.)
He was courteous, thorough, professional and friendly. Not much more to be said: my experience with Hank and Sunshine Plumbing, Heating & Air was pleasurable experience and a 110% smooth.
I would not hesitate for a second to refer this business to anyone in need of heating, plumbing and air services.

Love, love, love this company. Communication is excellent. Lorenzo showed up right on time and functioned effectively. No mess was left and the new humidifier looks great. They had to install however they made seem easy. Would not be afraid to hire this company later on.

And we loved our tech specialist Brett Thollot, he did a job that was neat and fantastic with the installation and took such excellent care of us! You guys have left us customers ! We are so happy we don't have to buy salt again! Very happy with this product!
Can I just say"wow" fantastic service! Not to mention Quality, Professionalism, Care, Great Communication, Easy and they got it done in a few hours!!! We are extremely satisfied with our Halo 5 Whole House System! Thank you so much William and Susan Frew!

Another service from Sunshine. Don't know that water heaters has to be drained to prevent build up of chemicals. The water we use to take cook meals and showers is cleaner. Order a"Plumbing Inspection" now which includes a water heater flush since I wager most homeowners don't have a clue on what is in their waters.
Technician Rocky L. was very knowlegeable and I recommend him for plumbing issues.

I also had the contractor, who installed the Rheem water heater, come out to look at things. He observed all the water indoors and informed my that my Rheem 12-year warranty (one of the main reasons I picked this specific water heater) was now likely null and void. In addition, he told me that his setup warranty was unfortunately, null and void also.
Mr. Frew contacted me, asking what wou
A day or so later however, the water heater went out again. This time the status light indicated a issue with the igniter. I called Sunshine again, and now William Frew, I was called by the owner. I explain the situation and the way that it looked as though the water heater would have to be replaced. He told me that that was NOT going to occur, but that he would ensure that the water heater would be repaired and all would be placed right.
The status light was indicating a problem with the fuel sensor (a sensor to sniff out potential vapor/gas leaks). The access panel started and found that the water in the drain pan should have wicked up through the vents at the bottom of the water heater. The inner bottom of the water heater was all wet, and the water was even wicking into all the insulation in the walls of their water heater.
I email Mr. Frew concerning the brand new issue and asked for his guidance. He replied that he didn't know what else to do. I replied back asking for information, or where we should go from here, but never got a response back. During the next month or two, I emailed Mr. Frew many, MANY times, but never got a response. It was only after I called the main office, in addition to emailed Mr. Frew again, suggesting that I would be leaving quite negative feedback on every website I could find, in addition to potentially bring lawyers into this that I finally heard backagain.
The Sunshine technician found he needed to drain a water line as part of their humidifier installation. The water might have emptied and dumped it. He thought he would save some time by draining the water into the emergency water heater drain pan that was nearby. As I assumed the technician knew what he was doing, at first, I thought nothing of it.

Sunshine emailed me that they would like to send out a technician to check up about the water heater and perhaps replace the gas detector. I replied back that that would be fine, but I wanted to know first know what the plan was if errors kept popping up. The only reply I received was asking me if I wanted to set up an appointment with a technician. I again asked what the plan was if this did not fix the problems.
A day or two the water heater went out. It was the gas detector. I managed to replace it and get the water heater running again as I happened to have a gas detector. From this point on though I've left off the access panel, along with the gas detector pulled from the water heater it had been water vapor that was causing the issue.
I've emails that I can provide for some of this, but of course verbal communications were never written down .
I phoned Sunshine up to alert them. To their credit, they sent a technician to repair the water heater out. The technician after a little research (he was unfamiliar with Rheem water heaters, as Sunshine installs only Bradford White water heaters)he managed to replace and get the gas detector and get the water heater functioning again. He did mention that he had no idea why the Sunshine technician who substituted the humidifier would be so dumb as to drain the water pan. Obviously, there was a lot of water within the water heater, and he had no way to get out it. He suggested leaving the access panel open that the water would eventually evaporate from indoors.
Mr. Frew came out personally to find out what was happening. He managed get the water heater functioning and to substitute the igniter. In addition, he found out that the technician who'd replaced my humidifier, besides screwing up my own water heater, had botched the humidifier installation. Mr. Frew was likewise able to get that fixed too, all the while mumbling about how"good help is hard to find these days". He promised me that he would ensure that all was taken care of. I even got him to agree that, if worst came to worst, and the water heater kept going out, he would really agree to substitute water heater.

Edit #2: One more note, I paid $102 for the house call (only for the estimate itself.)
This. They refuse to sell or give the public pricing info on parts, without being authorised by the client so that HVAC contractors can make these markups.
I recommend not giving this company your business; they don't deserve it if they're going to attempt to deceive their customers.
Edit: I should reiterate the tech himself was professional considerate, and useful. He got the quotation using an application that was ipad, so I presume that it's the policy itself that is producing a markup on parts of company. I did not see to understand whether the tech performed any action that is specific to create the markup.
This, however, is where the difficulty lies. The tech quoted $754 because this part's total cost. Before the technician's arrival, I had taken a guess the exhaust blower may be the matter, and had priced the part on the internet, where I managed to find the precise OEM part, brand new, for $205.75 (http://www.electricmotorwarehouse.com/lennox-furnace-draft-inducer-blowe...). While I normally anticipate up to a 1.5x or perhaps 2x markup for parts for in-home service, charging 3.75x the OEM price for the part is a brazen effort to exploit innocent customers. And to be clear, the quote was for the component * - .
The tech who arrived was polite and professional, and managed to rapidly diagnose the problem because a chainsaw.
I had a service tech and my house see with on January 27, 2018. My furnace had ceased working on Saturday, and the secretary who obtained my call with the model of the furnace in addition to the diagnostic code from the tool panel of the furnace was provided by me.

They do good quality work with very fair prices. Finest service I've encountered with any service company. Six stars!

I've been a Realtor in the Denver/Metro region for 40 years. I have several fantastic sellers on my"Preferred Vendor List" and wanted to give you a try, particularly considering that this is a woman-owned business. I am very upset with the support I have had so far. I left work at 10:30 to get a service window between 11-1 and the tech came at almost 3pm. . .not his error. I have had to initiate all the calls, following the arrival time window, to obtain no one responded from the workplace and a proposed ETA.
The tech did call me at 2:38pm to let me know he was on his way.
I receive about three inquiries every week, in my customers, asking me that I might recommend for a variety of services. Your customer support has destroyed your chances of being on that list.

Lorenzo of Sunshine Plumbing came to my rescue. Against struggles he did everything in his power to replace my AC in a timely way. When he ran into a few bumps in the street he immediately found solutions to get the job done and to fulfill the standard of quality work which Sunshine upholds. I am quite thankful for his work in this heat! The workplace support team was very communicative. This is a company that stands by their work and their people and their clients.

I did have a chance. I went on their site and emailed my info and request and after 2 days never got reply, so I called and was very abrupt and rude and put me on hold. I gave them a 3rd chance by was set off by stating they would get back to me and texting my question. I guess this company does not need new clients.
